We had booked there for 2 nights. After a long day from Staudach to Berchtesgaden by bike, 2 degrees and constant rain, when we arrived there, we waited for three quarters of an hour and no one was at the reception. We tried to reach someone by phone, but no one answered. We then had to get a new hotel room. I find that impossible and cannot recommend this guesthouse to anyone. I've never experienced anything like this before

The rooms are normal, the equipment is sufficient, the service is great, although the location is near the dormitories and we didn't mind.

An affordable hotel. Old but clean. Located next to a railway line where a train runs every half hour until midnight. Not much noise apart from his horn.Breakfast basic and very good coffee. Owner friendly.

Great value for money, very nice hosts. The only disadvantage is the train that passes directly in front of the house and regularly honks very loudly. If you want to sleep peacefully, you must use ear protection.

Because the Austrian government recently did not recognize the International Driving License of the Republic of China, the self-driving trip in Salzburg was forced to be cancelled. The owner of the B&B was very nice and agreed to give us a full refund. We originally chose the plan that required cancellation fees.

Cute little room for 2. Ok for a short stay. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was absolutely fine for a small guest house and the table was nicely set every morning.The house is quite noisy, also due to the train line directly in front of the house, but it didn't bother me much. There are enough parking spaces available.The bathroom is tiny and the sink storage solution is a bit impractical, which probably isn't possible given the size. The smell of urine was always in the air in the bathroom and there was mold growth on the windows.

Nice owner, very concerned about the guests. Good breakfast. The rooms correspond to the cheapest price, but there is not much to complain about. Our room had windows facing the street and the train tracks, which were about 30 meters away. If you want to sleep through the night, you should take hearing protection with you.

We were there for 5 days with the German train 🚆 so it caught our eye. 5 minutes walk to Berchtesgaden train station perfect. The owner was super friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. What more could you want. Would come back at any time.

Easily the best hospitality we've experienced in Bavaria. The guesthouse is located around 5 minutes walk from train station. We arrived relatively late, the caretakers left us a note and clear instructions to let ourselves in. Room were clean and spacious. Breakfast spread was the best, table was already assigned, we enjoyed it very much. We met the caretakers in the morning who spoke great English and she provided us with a Bertesgaden day card each. We appreciate this gesture and hospitality, which saved us money and time because we could use it as a bus pass around Bertesgaden. Highly recommended.
