Absolutely Disappointing Experience!Only if I could give 0 rating.I booked a 7-night stay at K+K Hotel from October 16th to 23rd, but what happened on the evening of October 22nd was beyond unacceptable. My wife and I were out for dinner after being in our room until about 4:30-5 PM. When we returned, to our shock, someone else was in our room! I could still open the door with my key, but the door chain from inside stopped it from opening fully. Imagine how unsafe that could have been for the other guests, or even for us!When I went to the reception, they said they “assumed” I had checked out because I wasn’t in the room much. They decided, without any notice, to reassign my room to someone else! I had NOT checked out, I never told them I was leaving, and I still had my room key. The hotel also had my contact information and could have easily confirmed this before making such a careless mistake.To make matters worse, I’m sure we had a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door when we left and absolutely certain that no cleaning was requested , yet someone from the hotel still entered our room. I didn’t even have any belongings left in the room because I was using it mostly for work, but that’s not the point. The hotel didn’t bother giving any real explanation, just offered a different room without addressing how they made this massive mistake in the first place.Given the unprofessionalism and unsafe practices, we didn’t even take the room they offered. We simply couldn’t trust the hotel after what happened. Completely unacceptable. It was an awful experience, and I expect much better from a hotel like K+K. They need to seriously rethink how they handle their guests’ privacy and reservations.Would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

Back at this hotel, for the nth time. Very good location for access to central Munich via the U and S Bahn. Good-sized, well-equipped room. More than adequate breakfast. We'll be back.

Don't stay here, most uncomfortable hotel to stay in. I stayed at k+k for 4 days in September 2024. The reviews looked good so I booked. The hotel is on the outskirts of Munich but the underground and overground trains are five minutes walk from the hotel. You can easily get to the centre of Munich in ten minutes.Unfortunately the staff at k+k were not very helpful. When I arrived to my room there was broken kettle and on calling reception and asking if it could be swapped out for a working kettle, I was first told to hold the line as they were dealing with a guest. Then I was told that I had to wait until tomorrow for a new kettle. Not very impressed as it is supposed to be a 4* hotel. Then they said go to the bar if I want hot water that evening and they said they'll see if they can find another kettle. When I went to the bar, I initially was acknowledged by the bar staff and I asked for hot water, then another guest arrived at the bar and I was promptly ignored. The receptionist then must have heard me and said she found a kettle for me. Hallelujah!My second issue was the heating had been turned on and I estimate the rooms and corridors were around 30 Celsius. It's not a comfortable temperature nor is it good for the environment. I once again asked what could be done to make it more comfortable. I wasn't able to use the Aircon to make my room cool, and opening the window delivered loud traffic noise all night. There was no offer to move me or a fan nor was I allowed a sheet to sleep with on asking reception but luckily house keeping kindly gave me a sheet.If you don't like rude unprofessional staff or boiling hot hotels, don't stay here.

Rooms are fantastic, clean, spacious etc. Staff were friendly and eager to help.Fitness facilities could use some actual dumbbells, however they have enough cardio options to keep you satisfied.My only complaint about the place is the parking situation, we had to park 15mins away and walk everyday, or had the option of a recommended parking lot which we'd have to catch the train back from. Kind of defeats the purpose of the convenience of having a car in the 1st place.And the central heating, it's too hot....But other than that, we loved our stay here! ♥️

The hotel was well located, close to the subway and local center. Possibly a little more run down neighborhoods closer to the former.The room was ok, but with a few disappointments in the form of a bathroom door that was cut off at the bottom and didn't provide much privacy. The toilet seat was difficult to flush.The bed was a double bed that could not be separated into two. It was a mistake booking by us, but I think it's practical when it's two separate beds that can be put together or pulled apart as you prefer.The air conditioning did not seem to work. The room was a little too warm despite the cool weather outside.The staff were nice and helpful but felt a bit stressed and understaffed.

The hotel is very accessible with public transportation and only a 15 minute ride to Marienplatz where the tourist areas are! There are restaurants and cafes nearby. Room is clean and staff are always friendly. Recommended. ✅

A very nice hotel, the subway is 2 minutes away from the hotel and you can reach everything. There was a small buffet in the morning and you could always find something to eat there. I can recommend the hotel very well. We would also like to come by a second time.

Definitely the worst hotel I’ve ever spent time in. The room was dirty and hot upon arrival, the walls had shoe marks, scuffs and other damage. Spider webs in the corners near the window. Nearly impossible to walk around the bed as the room is so small. The shower did not drain well and within seconds the water level began to rise filling the basin around your feet with disgusting water. Hair and other gross debris floated around. Immediately contacted the front desk about canceling the remaining nights and was told that would be fine. Since we agreed to two nights. Upon checkout we were told that is not possible and they will charge for an extra night as well though we are not staying the in hotel. Do not stay at this hotel, it is not worth the headache, many other far better choices in Munich.

Well located hotel, with very attentive and professional staff. Clean and spacious rooms, although a refrigerator is missing in the room. Varied and complete breakfast. An interesting option to get to know the capital of Bavaria. Highly recommended.
