Clean and Cozy, But Lacks Basic Amenities and ServiceIRecently stayed at a hotel in Oyten, Bremen, which, while clean and cozy, left much to be desired in terms of service and basic amenities. The hotel operates more like a hostel with private rooms rather than a traditional hotel.Pros:The room was clean and had a cozy feel.Cons:No Reception: There is no reception desk. Instead, you receive an email with a code to access your room. Unfortunately, the email was only in German, and I had to wait for half an hour before a fellow guest helped me figure it out.Small Room: The room was quite small, with only one electrical socket, inconveniently located by the window.Lack of Essentials: There were no proper pillows, just some loose items that I had to combine to make a makeshift pillow. Also, no nightstand lamp, so I had to rely on the bathroom light if I needed something at night.Early Check-out: The check-out time is between 7-10 AM, which is earlier than the typical 12 PM check-out at most hotels. No Staff Presence: There was no one present at check-out; you're simply expected to leave on your own.Noise: If you get a room on the ground floor, be prepared to hear a lot of noise from other guests moving around.Limited TV Channels: The TV barely had any channels available, which was disappointing.Overall, while the hotel was clean and had a cozy atmosphere, the lack of basic amenities and the absence of staff made the stay less comfortable. If you’re looking for a no-frills place to stay and don’t mind a very hands-off approach, this might work for you, but I personally found it lacking in too many areas to recommend.

I didn't see any employees from the hotel, but the room is clean and well maintained, which for me is part of the service. When you check in you will receive an email with the code for the main entrance and a code for the room door. The room we stayed in is small and spartan, but it's perfectly fine for one night and 59 euros. A TV on the wall, a kettle on the table, 2 paper cups of instant coffee and tea. The shower room is separated from the room by a door and is also very well maintained. Perfectly okay for one night.

This so-called hotel is an absolute disgrace. We came for a funeral and it was anything but a retreat. It's dirty, disgusting, spiders everywhere and absolutely poorly renovated. You can only pay in cash and have to put it in the room? Money laundering at its finest. Our apartment door wouldn't close.Beds uncomfortable.WiFi doesn't work.Reception not occupied.Woman on the phone rude and rude.Ashtray not taught. The pictures on the website do not correspond at all to what you will find. From blood stains on the wall to spiders in the room and mold on the windows.Everything else is just bad.I've never experienced anything like this before. The bathrooms in the apartment have not been modernized as shown on the website.I can't list everything, absolutely NO recommendation. Hands off. The hotel is not worth a cent. There wasn't even an apology from the hotel owner! This hotel was an attempt to do something good with it, but then the money ran out and the desire and respect were lost.I wish this owner finds the same on his next vacation.

We wanted to book a room. When calling the owners, a woman picked up. We asked about the room, to which the answer was that there are free places. We said that we wanted to make a reservation, to which the LADY suddenly replied in an angry voice that there were no free rooms, because there are only free rooms with reservations.
