Room acceptable and sufficient for overnight stay. The optional breakfast in the house is too expensive compared to the cost of goods and quality. For example, honey pops stuck in the potion column for 4 days without anything coming out or being changed. Tables far too small for 2 people.

Room small, bed crooked, sink in the room, bathroom very small, shower in the shower somehow broken, breakfast rather mediocre and definitely too expensive for €12. No elevator and you can hear the street outside in the room. I would not recommend booking the hotel.

I have known the hotel for 40 years and have somewhat sentimental memories.The house has now received some adjustments to today's standards, but still has the nostalgic charm of the past. So if you are looking for a clean, cheap, centrally located room with a good breakfast, you should book.We had a room under the attic that I still know as “the attic”.Back then it was even easier to carry the suitcases upstairs ;-)The former owners, the Herzog family, always gave my colleagues and me a very warm welcome and a pleasant stay in Lüneburg.Karl Herzog was concierge, innkeeper, waiter, night porter, caretaker and strict hostel father all in one.His wife was the best cook in Lüneburg and the only one who served head painkillers for breakfast. (..and I needed many)

Great stay at the Lübecker Hof! The rooms were clean and were spruced up daily. The breakfast buffet was really great – always plentiful and quickly refilled. The hotel has a nice nostalgic charm. The rooms are not huge, but absolutely sufficient. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We felt completely comfortable and would love to come back!

Service: slightly below averageBar: ancient and cozy, but no drinks(Self-service from the refrigerator works)Breakfast: limited acceptableDinner: there is noRoom: a broom closet on the third floor (no elevator), the bed was just a little smaller than the room. On one side you couldn't stand straight because of the sloping roof.Bad was record breaking. Washbasin, toilet and shower in such a small space, crazy!Price: on par with other hotels. Simply outrageous for what is offered.Will I stay here again?NEVER!!

Really not worth the price..tiny tiny room.. mattress too big for the bedframe only one pillow...mattress way too soft and I now have a seven hour train journey with a bad back...the bathroom is tiny with barely any room to move, fixtures and fittings dated. Great location and staff were friendly but I would not recommend a stay.

I had a smart room, which was very functional. There was a defect in the blind, but it wasn't a big deal for my purposes. The staff is very friendly and helpful. All questions could be answered quickly and easily.The hotel is in a great location. It is 5 minutes to the old crane (typical Lüneburg spot), 2 minutes to the train station and 10 minutes to the market or the Sande. If that's not enough, you can be at the cinema in 10 minutes. In the immediate vicinity there is a nice walk directly along the Ilmenau.There are parking spaces in front of the door that can only be used for 2 hours on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (Saturday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.) with a parking meter. Due to this restriction, you can usually find a parking space to unload during the week. There is also a charging station for electric cars on the other side of the street, which was not very busy during my stay.The hotel is recommended for a relaxed trip to Lüneburg right in the city center. However, as a note, there is no elevator.

Hotel clean. A little old. Double bed with visitor slot :-). Physical skills are required in the bathroom. 0.80 cm wide and 2.0 m long. You have to enter the shower via the toilet, the door has to be opened when sitting on the toilet and bending down in front of the sink is impossible for a 1.90m person.

If you love overpriced mini rooms, this below-average hotel is perfect for you! A whopping 16 square meters that felt like 9 square meters offer an uncomfortable bed and a bathroom in which you can hardly turn around.The only positive thing I can say is about the location of the hotel, which is very close to the train station.

A really recommended hotel. Even the dog was allowed to live in the room and bowls and a mat were provided for the dog in the room. Great service. Heavenly beds, modern and contemporary furnishings. The Lübecker Hof will definitely be our address when we come to Lüneburg again. Close to the city, own parking spaces.We were completely satisfied.

The sleeping area was bright and friendly and seemed relatively new and clean. The breakfast wasn't extensive, but it was completely sufficient; there was something of everything you needed.The bathroom was too small for a double room. There was mold in the shower and the seal on the shower door was partially worn out. This shouldn't happen in a hotel. Since mold in the bathroom seems to be a problem in many hotels and everything else was OK, it still gets 3 stars.

The single room under the attic looked like a storage room, but had the comforts of a shower, toilet and a small sink.Very nice: the young man at the reception carried my bag up the stairs.
