Our favorite hotel in Duhnen. We were there three times this year and everything was always great! Nice, large rooms, very good, clean bathroom. The staff at reception, at breakfast and in room service were very friendly.The location is excellent, super central. Once across the street, a few meters and you're almost in the water.We would like to come back in 2025, next time on January 1st....

Great hotel! Nice staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, family friendly, good breakfast and much more. Always worth a visit.This time we had one of the holiday apartments and were more than satisfied! We've already planned our next vacation for next year!

A very nice cozy hotel. The rooms are very clean and modernly furnished. Unfortunately I had a single room and the bed was a bit too narrow for me. But otherwise a very nice room. The breakfast was very good and rich. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I felt very comfortable there and I would like to come back.

I have been to the hotel and also to the holiday apartments several times. I am impressed by the consistently friendly staff. There is nothing wrong with the rooms or the rooms in the holiday apartment. Only recommended.02/11/23 I was here again for the first time after Corona. To my previous assessment it should be added that the rooms have been renovated in the meantime. It turned out very nice.

The best thing about the north. We were with you from September 14th to 23rd, 2024. It was just GREAT. The service, the friendly staff, the peace. Simply a great hotel. The only disadvantage is that parking for 9 days is 45€, that doesn't have to be the case!

On the whole, everything was great, the only thing that bothered me personally was the carpet was very stained. As an allergy sufferer, a floorboard/tiled floor is more pleasant for me.The staff was very nice.

A nice little hotel.The staff was very friendly and the rooms were modern and clean. The breakfast was very tasty with a large selection and was constantly refilled, even if requested.The location is also great. The sea is only a very short walk away and there are many restaurants and shopping opportunities nearby. We liked it very much.

The room, which was beautiful in itself, was rented to us as wheelchair accessible, even the door to the bathroom was too narrow, there was no freedom of movement in the narrow room, the room was upstairs under the roof. Despite various calls beforehand about the need for a wheelchair, there was no information that this was only available in a comfort room.After a long discussion because of the misinformation, we were given a room in the family-owned neighboring hotel, which, however, cost us €500 more.

My mother and I stayed at the Hotel Seeschwalbe for a few days and felt very comfortable. Incredibly courteous and friendly staff. You can also tell from the hotel manager that it is not a job but his calling to run this hotel.The rooms were spotlessly clean and the hotel is very centrally located, so you can quickly enjoy the sea view or eat in one of the restaurants nearby.The breakfast buffet was also very sufficient and had a pleasant selection.We really enjoyed it and it was definitely not the last time we would visit here!

For us this was the perfect place to stay when we wanted to visit Cuxhaven, Neuwerk Island and Heligoland. The hotel has its own car park to the rear with barrier at the entrance. The lady on reception was welcoming and helpful, even walking us to our room. Our room was one floor lower than reception and at the back of the hotel. There is a lift as well as stairs. Our room was in effect, on the ground floor with a sizeable patio area no one else could access. The room was of generous proportions and was the lobby and bathroom. The room was decorated to give it a seaside feel but not ott. Lots of storage space, a nice sofa, dressing table, room safe and fridge. Everywhere was spotless. Even “the boss” took his turns on reception and helped with bookings for us. A booking he wasn’t certain of, he made a note and the tickets were waiting for us later that day. The reception stag spoke enough English for us to get by with some speaking g fluent English. This is not the same for all Herman hotels. We were impressed enough for me to write this over breakfast at our next stop wanting to get out for the day. Oh, and very reasonably priced we thought. Would we stay here again? Certainly. The location was easy to find and was right on the main seafront road.

The house is on the main street, but is very quiet inside.We liked it there so much, that's why it's already in our plans for 2025.ALL the employees were very friendly, always had a smile and were endlessly helpful!! We have rarely experienced something like this in the north.As a welcome there was a drinks voucher for a glass of wine or beer. This could be redeemed in the “Alexander von Humboldt” hotel bar. There were also various cocktails available for €5, daily from Tuesday to Saturday (6 p.m. to 8 p.m.). Sunday and Monday are days off.

I was very satisfied and would book there again. The proximity to the sea is simply unbeatable, so you are happy to accept the interior design, which may seem “old-fashioned” for some generations. Car parking directly at the house is super practical. Rich breakfast buffet.

We spent two nights in the hotel with two adults and two children. The day before arrival we booked the hotel by phone and the booking went smoothly. Flexibility in allocating rooms for the four of us was great. We were able to use the parking lot before check-in and get into the room from 3 p.m. Very comfortably furnished hotel, everything was clean and more than well equipped for our needs. Our booking also included breakfast and that was really fantastic. Everything your heart desires was there. Our children were treated to fresh, warm cocoa and our little one even had children's cutlery and crockery brought to the table. We felt completely looked after and comfortable and also had the feeling that our children were welcome, which unfortunately was often not the case in the past.The location is simply ideal. You can see the sea from some rooms and you basically only have to walk a few minutes to get to the beach. You can also reach the promenade and various shopping opportunities on foot. For us, an all-round positive stay in a hotel that we can warmly recommend.

We booked breakfast there from outside. It was fantastic! We weren't satisfied in our boutique hotel and decided to have breakfast outside. That was the best decision! I can only recommend it! A dream :-)

When we arrived we were kindly allowed to park our car before we got our room.The room is large with a terrace and beach chair.Breakfast buffet was big and really good.What we were not told beforehand was that a bed tax would be charged. You should include it.It's nice that there is a hotel bar and the super friendly staff is perfect.

We had a nice stay. Super clean and well-equipped room, ultra friendly staff, great breakfast buffet. Just a minute to the center and the beach. In short, there is nothing to complain about, except that the breakfast room, with its 80s charm, no longer seems entirely up to date, but that shouldn't detract from the super positive overall impression.
