We were given a voucher for a wellness weekend with a motorhome. So can't say anything about the rooms. After reading the comments here, we weren't really looking forward to the weekend anymore. But we had a really nice weekend! We were the only mobile home, so we had enough space, peace and quiet and a beautiful view. The entire staff at the hotel was super nice and attentive!! The breakfast and dinner were also great. We also really liked the facial treatment. Sauna was good too. The hotel is really nicely decorated, we didn't see any dirt or rubbish anywhere. If I had to say what we were missing, the only thing would be a toilet disposal. But you can use the toilets in the hotel at any time, you would even get a key at night.

Dear hotel staff,So when we arrived we immediately noticed a spider in a corner. Since we were afraid of the spider, we reported to the secretariat. The person was courteous and took care of it. We liked the room too. Unfortunately, the gluten-free rolls I needed were a bit too small, especially the price of €22.50 is far too much. Still, it was tasty. Unfortunately something happened one day that really bothered me. We wanted to have dinner there and the waitress, despite presenting the menu to us, just said, "I'd rather not, that wouldn't suit you anyway. There's a McDonald's in the corner nearby. That would suit you better." I found the sentence very critical, especially because she first showed the card and then suddenly it didn't fit.

We wanted to try sleeping in a waterbed and then wanted to turn it into a “wellness weekend”. We didn't stay a second night. It was a disaster. The bed was very uncomfortable (not enough water in it?), everything seemed a bit dingy. In particular the bathroom, which was way too small, was getting old. It was functional, but nothing more. Without heating, windows or ventilation. I was wondering if those "plush pillows" in the bed are cleaned after each guest?Hidden prices also lurk when it comes to food. If you want to enjoy a little luxury, you'll pay a lot more. The food is a matter of taste. My partner didn't like it, I'm not that picky when it comes to food. The breakfast buffet was also not suitable for a “wellness weekend”. Applied very sparingly, rolls not from the bakery, but baked. Homemade jam good.The staff was very attentive and friendly; But that wasn't enough for us to feel comfortable here!We were very happy to be able to sleep in our beds again for the second night. We won't be coming back.

We had booked the "Romantic New Year's Eve vacation" offer online in a feel-good room with a large New Year's Eve buffet, reception cocktail and Procescco at the turn of the year. The detailed description and photos online were so positive that we were initially disappointed when we arrived.- At the beginning we were almost the only couple on site- Unfortunately, the romantic rose petal bath was far too narrow for 2 people- the bathroom is very old-fashioned (brown)-When we arrived the rooms were "ice cold"- the New Year's Eve buffet was good, but the local guests were given priority over the 5 couples (hotel guests) and were allowed to go to the buffet 1 hour earlier than us- The 2 course menu in the evening was very manageable and not very varied. The meat and fish were very well done.The 2 nice employees, who tried very hard to accommodate the guests' wishes, should be rated positively.On the whole, you can say that all 5 couples on site had different, higher expectations from a "New Year's Eve arrangement". A more appropriate description would be useful.

We spent a night here (a short break for €120) in a motorhome. All the staff were super nice and we were looked after excellently. Really great service. What I didn't like was the bathtub for 2 people, which is actually for one person. The 2nd has the water inlet in the back, very uncomfortable. For the price, I would have liked WiFi at the parking space and a shower facility.

We went to the annual “family Christmas dinner” with 12 people on December 25th, 2023.this year for the first time at Steimker Hof. The atmosphere is ok, the staff tries hard.Only the kitchen left something to be desired.There was a “lukewarm” buffet, which was also very “clear” and small in terms of the selection and what was presented. From the buffet to the table, the lukewarm food was cold. During this time the buffet was no longer refilled.Conclusion:To charge €39.90 per person for the meager buffet, for this lukewarm or cold pamper,It's sporty and basically a joke.In many years of field service, I have visited many inns, restaurants, etc.But I have never experienced such a bad buffet or such bad cuisine anywhere in many years. That was the first and last time at “Steimker Hof”.................................................To the reaction/answer from “Steimker Hof”:Hello Ms. Meyer,It's nice that at least "here" there was a reaction to a bad recession.On December 25th, 2023, I was not the only one from this group of 12 people at the 2 tables who complained that the food was already lukewarm at the buffet and ultimately cold at the table.This was pointed out personally by a person from this group (it's actually enough for one person from a group to complain) and it was,now more obvious, not responded to.If there is no response to a direct complaint/direct tip, you shouldn't be surprised about a bad assessment or recession.So this bad assessment here is very well justified!If your failed "Mediterranean Christmas buffet" had been TOP and was very "clear" and tight for the price, the price wouldn't have played a role in the end. You pay for good and delicious food (I can only write for myself here). gladly.Maybe the cook should not only keep an eye on the stove, but also the buffet.Because only when the food is on the guests' table is their “ability” reflected.or the satisfaction of the guests 😉.I wish you good luck and all the best for the future.It's a shame that you have to put a "forced star" so that the recession can be posted.If I could, I would give the kitchen 5 minus stars!

If you want to spend a nice weekend with wellness, peace, friendliness and good food, you've come to the right place.The whole thing is rounded off by the family style. The entire house has loving highlights - of course it is not a new building but renovated and modernized.What's very nice is that you can only use the sauna in your group (two of us in our case). If you have a wish while you're in the sauna, you can ring the bell to let us know and your wishes will be fulfilled.In general, the guest is taken care of here, no wish remains unfulfilled.I wish the entire ReVital & Wohlfühlhotel team a great Christmas time and I look forward to seeing you again.

We booked the girlfriend wellness package and were very disappointed. The fact that this hotel can be called a wellness hotel is a joke.The sauna area consists of a larger room in which there is only a shower cubicle and a sauna. The room is poorly lit, the loungers are spartan and do not invite you to relax. The noises of the main road can be heard constantly, the owner's dog kept barking and the music was terrible. Luckily we were alone there, but theoretically eight people could use the sauna, although there are only five loungers.There is a service bell if you want to order drinks, but there was no service staff present during our time, so we had to "stick our head out and call" to order.The building is also not inviting from the outside. There is also a gold and fur purchase shop in the restaurant area.We can't rate the food because we actually left after 2.5 hours - at least they accommodated us with the price.For us it wasn't a wellness hotel, but rather an outdated country inn. The staff was - which we rate positively - very friendly.

I was there for one night. It was quite ok.The hotel is easy to reach on the B6, so cars and trucks sometimes drive past at night. But that works when the window is closed.The staff was super nice. A late arrival was possible without any problems.The room was clean and ok. A bit old-fashioned, especially the bathroom. There were a few minor imperfections in the shower (see pictures). But no mold, only the color of the tub has chipped/changed.The water in the shower was consistently warm and the water pressure was good, which is worse for many hotels in this price range and is very commendable.The bed was ok, for me it could have been less saggy and softer.There is free WiFi. In the evening around 8:00 p.m. I got a download speed of 5-6 MBit/s. That's ok for checking emails and briefly googling. But there's nothing more to it. In the morning at 7:00 a.m. it was 50-60 MBit/s.The breakfast was good and nicely prepared. You can watch the sun rise over the fields. Very nice.I wouldn't recommend the hotel near Syke as the first place, but since the pictures show that there are also newer rooms, I was probably just a bit unlucky because I booked the room at short notice. Otherwise it's definitely nice here and you can definitely do it for an overnight stay.Costs 70€/night
