Quiet location, very friendly welcome. The room, kitchen, bathroom are very neat. Excellent place to stay.

We didn't have time to look around a lot, since we just stayed the night on our travers, but it was a great night! Really simple with online check-in and a comfortable stay!

Simple and clean rooms with good beds and shared bathroom and kitchen facilities, located charmingly in the countryside. Recommended.

Very narcissistic man who cannot empathize with you as a guest.After a long journey we arrived at Pension Ziemann.While the agreed check-in time is 5 p.m., we were absolutely not supposed to go in at 4:56 p.m. with children who needed to go to the toilet."I need another 5 minutes" was all the landlord snapped at us. That was how he welcomed us.We were then let in and the tone was set from moment one.Where you can welcome guests nicely after a long journey, this was exactly the opposite. His rules were immediately imposed like a dictator.At some point I was asked what I didn't understand about the rules, because I was wearing shoes inside. I indicated that I was still unloading. If he had asked this kindly, no problem would have arisen, but raising his voice and an angry tone does not work. His authoritarian and aggressive attitude arouses enormous resistance in me and as a guest I feel completely unwelcome and not taken seriously. My wife and I were then verbally abused in front of our children.I won't let this happen to me!He was not pleased that I did not want to cooperate with his rules.We got into an argument in which I spoke to him about his way of communicating and his behavior. However, this was laughed at cynically.Then the rooms. Did I already tell you that Mr. is against the rules? Requests and rules everywhere. In the kitchen, bathroom and even on the beds. Yes, you read that right.This man would have been better off becoming a lawyer, because he does not enjoy his work. Moreover, he can't do it either, because as a host, barking at your guests like that is the stupidest thing you can do.Besides the fact that there are spider webs hanging on the walls in many places, it is difficult for even a good painter to update these frames.Outside, the lichens hang on the basket and there is no sign that the guest house is here. The reception, general atmosphere, care is also very sad.It is not without reason that no photo of the outside of the house is visible when you book, because an average prison looks even nicer from the outside.As a family we did not feel welcome. This man should better look for another job, because he is not a service provider at all.Do not book if you come with children, because they walk on the stairs and the gentleman cannot tolerate that. Then he can play a nice police officer, something he likes to do.Deep down he knows that he is not flexible, not friendly and that he wants total control over you as a guest. Man, go find another job and do something you like and are good at. At least not this.Other- Very warm rooms and no air conditioning.- No blackout curtains, so very light in the room.- Extremely noisy rooms. You can literally understand everything that is said next to you.- Checking in via an app is clumsy and not very customer-friendly. I was also accused that it should have been done twice, because it involved 2 rooms.Definitely not recommended for a quiet stopover!

Great place for a stopover!

The room/bathroom was nicely furnished. Unfortunately, the accommodation is very noisy, you can hear everything that is happening in the hallway. Furthermore, the building is not recognizable as a guesthouse and does not make a very serious impression. The host made a professional but annoyed impression There was no storage space for our bikes, a shame for accommodation right on the HH/HB cycle path.

If you want to spend the night in a budget-friendly manner in a clean family room with a very spacious bathroom (bath and shower), then this guest house is recommended. Exterior of the guest house is not attractive. Once inside, it's not too bad. It is quite warm in the room. Window can be opened but the screen is broken. And then during our stay there was a dog that started barking for a while around 10:30 PM.

Impeccable cottage, 5 minutes from the highway.

Clean room, good bed. Simple decor and no atmosphere. Unmaintained building and outdoor space. The code received for the key cabinet was incorrect, therefore access was not possible. Finally resolved after knocking on windows and doors. Very unpleasant.
