The hotel is very well located, right next to the city center and university. Contrary to what is suggested, there is someone on site to answer questions during core times. But using the cell phone is very simple. With the app you can get into the rooms reliably.The single rooms are very minimalistic: a bed, a sink, two towels. This is completely sufficient for one night. You are provided with a small and a large towel. Everything is clean. Only the mirror was very streaky. There is space under the bed for the suitcase. But it should be a maximum of 28 cm high.If you need absolute darkness to sleep, you should avoid the room, as the window in the door cannot be completely sealed with the slider. It is opaque, but not lightproof.The rooms have ventilation. However, this cannot be controlled. That's why you have to live with the setting. The air doesn't seem to be directly used, but you can notice a significant increase in oxygen in the hallway.You also have to make compromises when it comes to the toilets. For men there are two cabins and two squat toilets. This is a bit tight at peak times. Despite the ventilation, it's a bit uncomfortable.I can't say anything about the showers.

The key card for my room, with my full name and room number, was passed on to another guest at night, so a strange woman stood in my room in the middle of the night and woke me up. Sleeping was no longer an option.The room in the room is very noisy. The ventilation sounds like water is running constantly, the lights hum when they're turned off and you can hear the bass of the club upstairs even through earplugs.

Centrally located hotel in Göttingen. The name Boxhotel says it all here. Each room is actually like a box measuring 4 m² and has a bed, a sink and two coat hooks. This is my first time staying in a hotel like this and luckily only for one night. The price is fair at €37.

The room works but only offering one shower for 30 rooms, which you have to go through reception to get to, is incredible. The ventilation of the box was poor, the room was too warm and I had the feeling that there was hardly any oxygen in the air.

The hotel is an absolute disaster. I will never stay there again. There are no toilets or showers in the common area. There was only a small sink for washing hands.

Good concept. The room was fine, but a bit strange to have the shower over the one bed. Especially when the drain was clogged, it almost flowed over and down the bed. It didn't seem like much maintenance was done in the hotel, many things were broken off the walls. But the reason I have to give two stars is that the hotel is in the same building as a club, and the bass from the club music rumbled through the floor until 8am. 4 in the morning, so I couldn't sleep.

Very funny hotel, super central, the "rooms" are reminiscent of comfortable train compartments, they are tiny but perfectly adequate. We had the comfort version for two with a shower in the room. The bed upstairs is really wide. The mattresses are comfortable, everything was new and very clean. Uncomplicated check in/out.

Price and performance are perfectly fine considering that this hotel is almost in the city center. Hardcore minimalist but also very clean room which I got with the integrated shower. I slept there during the week, the neighboring bar had live music which I didn't notice. There was also a friendly receptionist on site (around 9 p.m.) who very kindly showed me my room for the night. Although there were earplugs at the entrance, I didn't have to use them. Although the rooms do not have a window, the room was well air-conditioned. The mattress itself was a bit hard, but the blanket and pillow were very comfortable. For my height of 1.95, the mattress was sufficiently large and had no complications when lying on it. There are parking spaces across the street for little money. Coffee is on the house in the morning, but no breakfast. There are plenty of options for breakfast nearby. The lobby is ultra minimalist, but at least has seat cushions for moderate comfort and a coffee and water dispenser.

Catastrophe. No windows in the room. Beds are small, you can hardly fit in them. Constricted to the point where it can no longer be done. Claustrophobia is inevitable
