Very nice staff! It's clean and quite modern. The rooms (single rooms in my case) are sufficiently large, attractively furnished and bright thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows. The location is very central in Helmstedt, which is perfect for me.The only point deductions are for beds that are a little too soft and weak WiFi.

The reception is always friendly. Nice employees. Great and beautiful room. Everything clean and well maintained. I always enjoy coming to the hotel.Unfortunately there is no more breakfast. No longer offered.

We were there for the second time now. We would receive a very friendly welcome. The rooms are very large. The hotel is very quietly located in the city center. A sufficient breakfast buffet is available and your own wishes are also catered for.

VERY COZY LITTLE HOTEL. GREAT ROOM, GREAT SERVICE AND VERY FRIENDLY EMPLOYEE. THE BREAKFAST BUFFET IS VERY TASTY AND LOVINGLY PRESENTED. IT WASN'T A PROBLEM THAT 2 PEOPLE CAME FOR BREAKFAST.

A very nice city hotel in the heart of Helmstedt. We have been there several times and have always felt very comfortable. The rooms are huge, modernly equipped and very clean. The welcome is always very warm, the breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Ms. Schmidt and her colleague are the good souls of the house and always wholeheartedly look after the well-being of their guests. Always happy.

I had booked one night in the hotel. My room was very nice, cozy and clean. Slept very well. This morning at breakfast everything you could have imagined was there. It was super tasty. The two employees were very friendly and helpful. I can only recommend the hotel to everyone.

This is a real find. The Goldener Stern is comfortable, clean (essentially new) and staffed by lovely friendly people. Perfect location, very near the center of Helmstedt, close to restaurants and the walking zone (Fussgaengerzone) but quiet, with little traffic. It is even inexpensive. Ours was a huge room, with a full kitchen -- ideal for a longer stay. 90 Euros!
