A really cute hotel, simply but lovingly furnished. Fair price. Unfortunately, there was no much-vaunted breakfast on the day of my overnight stay. But I quickly found an alternative across the street. The helpful and accommodating boss is particularly worth mentioning. The hotel is ideally located in the pedestrian zone as a starting point for sightseeing.

I was a guest for one night. Anyone who complains here is really complaining at a very high level. The price/performance ratio is right! The rooms are small but absolutely clean and tidy. The breakfast and coffee was good! If you want something different, you might want to dig deeper into your pockets.

Hotel in a historic house, well-preserved house. Clean and tidy rooms, shower room is very narrow! The location of the house right on the edge of the old town of Celle is great!

A nice little hotel in the old town of Celle. However, our room was very small. But it was okay for one night. The breakfast was great. The right start to the day when you're on a bike tour. We were able to park the bikes in the staircase.

A good option for those who want to stay overnight in Celle.Located in the historical part of the city. The room is not big, but very cozy.We were lucky to get a room with access to the terrace.There is hot water and heating. The room also had a TV and coffee machine.The downside that I found is the frequent difficulties with parking near the hotel - very often there are no free spaces. Therefore, I would recommend leaving your car in the nearest large parking lots.The most important thing that made me rate the hotel so low was the situation that occurred when leaving the hotel.Now I will describe in more detail:After we stayed for four days (checked in on Friday evening - checked out on Tuesday morning), the hotel billed us for 5 days! All our attempts to explain the situation to the hotel employee ended in failure (we don’t speak German well yet). After the hotel was contacted by people who speak German well, it turned out that an unfortunate mistake had occurred, and we were charged for an extra day...When we returned to the hotel the next day to get the money, no one even apologized...I would also like to note that payment by card was not accepted - I had to pay in cash.In general, there was an unpleasant aftertaste(

Nice little hotel. clean rooms, clean bathroom, friendly staff. The only drawback is the noise from the street so you have to keep the window closed at night. Breakfast was plentiful and very good. When we are back in Celle, the hotel is definitely our favorite again

Nice rooms, but the toilet a bit small but very clean and good beds. Good and friendly service, definitely worth an overnight stay and a visit in Der Alte Statt in Celle.

I was able to make a reservation on booking.com during the coronavirus. I wonder if the accommodation prices in the city itself are high?!The old town is far from the station🚶♂️🚶♂️The old town house 🏘️ is cute, so it's a good place to take a walk.You can take a stroll even at night.I have a cute dog🐶.The exterior looks like a 🌲 wooden house 🏠 The room also has a large bed, probably because there is no room for one person.There's coffee ☕ in the room 👍 Thank youI'm glad that I was able to add breakfast for an additional 4€ when making a reservation 😊 Reasonable. I'm so grateful for the coffee served in a pot 🥨🧀There are supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants (closed), and kebab shops nearby, but there are not many.

Location was the best part of this hotel. The bed was a little soft for us. Shower pressure wasn’t great. Breakfast was good with a fresh cooked egg. The owners were extremely nice and helpful. There are updates needed to make this more comfortable. That said, it did have its charm. Good for a one night stop over.

Very nice welcome, great cheap clean rooms, in the middle of the old town, very cheap parking garage diagonally opposite, great breakfast. Slept great, quiet location. I have already booked there again. Many thanks to the great team.
