We are extremely disappointed with this restaurant and will never visit the establishment again. Last night I was at the restaurant with my friends to celebrate my birthday. One of my friends has been on sick leave for over a year because she has problems with her feet and can walk very badly. Most of the time it helps if she can put one foot up. So the three of us had a table for 4 and she put one foot on the wooden chair (without a cushion). Of course, the shoe was hanging over it and not on the seat. After we placed our order, the old (presumably) boss of the house came and asked them to take the foot off because that's not acceptable in his house. After all, other people want to sit with their butts on it. After a moment of speechlessness on our part, we tried to make it clear that she was in pain and needed to put him up. But you could also add a jacket underneath. He didn't accept any of that and she should put her foot down. We asked whether other disabilities were also undesirable or how he deals with these people. That's probably not a problem, but it would definitely have to be registered in advance and when we made our reservation, this was the case. nothing noted. Something like that is not appropriate in his (upscale) house and after all he has to protect all the other guests. After much discussion, we canceled our orders and left the house in horror. For further information: At that moment we were alone in the dining room, only a larger group was sitting at the next table, but they didn't even notice us. So no one actively complained. We are also >40 years old and not young people, where it might appear that we wanted to lounge around or something similar. We had NEVER experienced such an approach and found it absolutely abysmal how they treated "handicapped" people in this hotel/restaurant.

Well-kept house, central location, very nice staff, good breakfast with a large selection. Parking and WiFi free of charge. Small single room in the annex, open toilet and shower and with a hard mattress. Very clean and well maintained.
