Unfortunately you couldn't just visit the museum...Advance reservation only and ideally for groups as otherwise it is very expensive.

What a great experience alone in a small but beautiful museum in a 500-year-old tower. A great, fun tour of the museum. Really recommended.

Location is perfect, everything is very easy to reach. You sleep perfectly because there is a lot of peace and quiet. The kennel and its apartments are very nice and reasonably priced.

We spent a night in the castle knight/starry sky bed and it was incredible: the room in the museum is rustically cozy, the view is spectacular.This night was like an adventure trip to the Middle Ages. Many thanks to the Mevers family for making something like this possible!

Great stay! Lovingly furnished holiday apartment. Everything you need was there. We felt at home straight away. We were also allowed to look at the museum and the roof terrace with overnight accommodation, although the museum is actually only open to groups of 10 or more people. Great view over Goslar and the blue pile. Great location! Just a few minutes walk and you are right in the center. Thank you very much to the Mevers family for the great stay!

We had booked the starry sky bed. A completely different overnight experience. Absolutely fantastic, even though we couldn't see any stars and had to move to the big, cozy bed in the museum in the middle of the night because of the rain. The pictures on the website speak for themselves and we can only recommend it to everyone - definitely give it a try.

We had 1 apartment here, of the 3 there are. The apartments are distributed in a round tower. Due to the thickness of the walls, the rooms are nice and cool and you hardly hear your neighbors. There are 2 separate bedrooms. The inventory in the kitchen is very extensive. The location is ideal and no more than 300 meters from the center. The hostess is very calm, friendly and helpful. I can recommend this location to everyone.

Super Service. We were there a little earlier and then someone came to give us the keys and tell us a lot about the area. There was also a voucher booklet for promotions in and around Goslar.The room was clean and had everything you need. Great location. The proximity to the city center has the classic disadvantage that there are no free parking spaces. We were able to drive to the front door to load and unload our suitcases. Even after our stay, the friendliness didn't diminish. I forgot something in the fridge. It was sent to me immediately.I can recommend this accommodation if you don't have a problem with stairs :-)

It was a great experience for the whole family. When can you spend the night in the museum and try out some of the exhibits? The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Zwinger is also in a good location, just a few meters from the market square. The view over Goslar from the roof terrace was also great. We can recommend it with a clear conscience.

Imposing historical building.Unfortunately the museum was closed when we visited. We'll catch up on the visit.The Goslaer Zwinger from 1517, a defensive tower of the former city fortifications, is very well preserved. The beautiful park in front invites you to take a romantic walk and linger.A beautiful photo opportunity on the edge of the old town.

We booked the kennel for a family vacation with 10 people. We lived in the Burgkaiser. Everything was great, great facilities, central location to the city center and we also had parking spaces.

We were there with a youth group (19 people). Very interesting. Everything in the tower was explained very well and interestingly. We could see almost all of Goslar from the roof. What was great was that we could smell everything, chain mail, helmets, rifles, torture tools. The highlight was that at the end everyone was made “Knights of Goslar” with a certificate.😍Big thanks to the woman who managed everything (sadly forgot her name 🙈).

We stayed in the kennel for 4 days with 14 people and had the large holiday apartmentCastle emperor and the castle fairy and burgravine apartments occupied. The apartments with kitchens are equipped with almost everything you need. (Whining at a high level: a warmer would be desirable). The spacious lounge in the Burgkaiser meant that we could all spend the evenings together; with double the number of people it wouldn't have been cramped.The beautiful city center is just a few minutes' walk away and is always worth the trip. We'd love to come back.

Beautiful, tastefully furnished holiday apartment (we stayed in the “Burggraf”). Kitchen offers everything you need. To top it off, you could replace the laminate and doors with more elegant wood. View from the window of a pond with ducks. In a calm neighborhood. In 10 minutes you can walk to the historic old town. Please take care of the water pressure in the shower.
