We were here as a couple over the weekend. The location is great - the guesthouse is in a very quiet residential area and you can walk to the old town in about 10 minutes. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast was surprisingly varied and rich. If you wish, you can have scrambled or fried eggs and coffee brought to your table by the friendly waitress.There are only deductions for the room. On the one hand, the guesthouse is very noisy. When guests arrive in the middle of the night, you can hear every step they take as they make their way through the house due to the wooden stairs and old wooden floors. When the guests talk normally, you hear almost every word. The sliding glass door from the room to the very small bathroom, which didn't close completely, also took some getting used to. This means that both smells and noises could get into the small budget double room. You should therefore only book a room with someone you know very well and in front of whom you are not ashamed. Here, too, the floor "creaks" in many places and you automatically try to avoid these places so as not to disturb other residents. A mattress wasn't perfect either, as you would always roll to one side at night and almost fall onto the floor.Since these small defects are acceptable for the low price and there is free parking, I am happy to give the full 5 stars in the overall rating.

We had an apartment. Very well equipped and great location. Unfortunately we had a silverfish problem. So we had to go hunting in all the rooms every evening. 20 to 30 pieces and 20 minutes later we came to rest every evening. Upon request, three traps were set for one day. But since they were on the floor and the silverfish were on the walls and ceiling, the success was moderate.

We received an unwanted upgrade that we thought was nice but then had to pay for. The guesthouse then realized the mistake and everything was fine. The breakfast we booked was very tasty and we can only recommend it. The holiday apartment was functionally equipped and a television was installed in every bedroom and even in the kitchen. We found it a bit of a shame that you could watch either in bed or at the kitchen chair.The city center can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. Parking on site is free. We'd love to come back.

A nice guesthouse, in a quiet location and still within walking distance of everything.I had booked a single room, it was small but nice, I had a small balcony to myself, the bathroom was nice, and in general the room was very clean.But unfortunately I have to agree with the previous speakers, the rooms were very noisy and when the first ones went to breakfast at 7 a.m., you were awake.The breakfast buffet was nicely presented, there was a large selection of rolls, various spreads and various types of cold cuts. In the morning you were always asked how you would like your egg, and there were different types of hot drinks.

The room was small and the bed was even smaller. I had the same shape as the bed, but I didn't fall out because you could hug the mattress.There were two towels, the bed was made up and comfortable (if you like soft).There was soap in the bathroom and a hybrid of shampoo and shower gel in the shower with an interesting smell. There was also a hairdryer.The room was clean and the surroundings were very quiet.

The Pension Alscher is located in a very quiet, low-traffic part of Goslar. Walking distance from the train station in 10 minutes.The welcome was warm, unfortunately, due to an unforeseeable event on the part of the guesthouse, not all of the rooms booked were available. This matter was resolved very confidently and professionally to everyone's satisfaction. The holiday apartment, as a replacement for 2 single rooms, and the single room were modernly furnished, very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The shutters provided the desired darkness at night.The breakfast left absolutely nothing to be desired. Everything was thought of, coffee, tea and eggs as desired. A large selection of homemade jams, muesli and nuts. Lovingly prepared fruit salads, hearty salads, sausage, cheese, salmon and quark in sweet and savory versions. The selection of bread and rolls was also surprisingly large. Really great and delicious, that's how a day should start.We felt completely at home, would like to come back and say thank you, especially to Maria.

Easy access - parking - stairs leading up are a bit steep. They're a kind of fitness, but doable - located just before the old town, in a quiet side street. So all the sights are within walking distance - good signage - the staff is friendly and accommodating - ideal for a city trip

We stayed in this lovely guesthouse for two nights as part of a group. We lived in apartment 14 with a dog and felt very comfortable! The facility was very good! Nothing was missing! It was very clean! The terrace was particularly beautiful! The breakfast was great! Nothing was left to be desired. Both the boss and the women in the kitchen were very nice and helpful.

We were there from March 15th to 17th. in the Pension Alscher and had booked the apartment. We were able to move into this - after a friendly reception - at 12 o'clock. The apartment is nicely furnished and even has a small terrace. There are external roller shutters in the bedroom and a television in the living room and bedroom. The bathroom is very attractive. I can't say anything about the kitchen equipment because we didn't use it.The entire staff is very friendly, and the service in the breakfast room is particularly noteworthy.2 days were not enough for Goslar. If we come back, we'll go here.

The rooms are more like private guest rooms, they are clean and the bathroom is chic and modern. The breakfast is sensational with eggs made to order and a wide selection. In less than 10 minutes you can walk to the Achtermann and therefore to the city center. You can park for free around the guesthouse and find a space. The only small criticism: It's incredibly noisy, from the room behind the reception I could understand every word at the reception and vice versa.

We booked a double room, which was supposed to have 28 square meters, a kitchenette, terrace, ground floor, bathroom.We got a double room which wasn't even 18 square meters, no kitchenette and no terrace.When I asked the next day whether we had been given the wrong room, the boss's answer was: No!It would be about 28sqm and we could use the general kitchen in the house opposite.After I showed her the booking and the booking confirmation, the lady claimed that the booking had not been received by them and we were offered a room on the upper floor, which would probably be larger but also more expensive! But we don't want to go to upper floors with our dog, so we book the ground floor with enough space!But the lady of the house didn't want to accommodate us any further.It was also extremely noisy, our room was right next to the reception (entrance) and the stairs.You could understand every word from there and the room above!You can get full at breakfast, but it is not rich.Even when asked by Booking's customer service, the lady was unreasonable.
