Unfortunately, we checked out shortly after checking in. Since this hotel is a bit quiet and away from the center (which was also the reason for our booking) we booked with half board. This was confirmed to us a week before arrival. When we arrived we were told that there was only breakfast. The only option to eat in the evening was a pizzaria nearby which was not inviting. The rest would have had to be driven. It's a shame... But more honesty in advance would have saved this review. We also found out that at least 5 other guests felt the same way today. The self-named placeholder at reception seemed very indifferent to this. He even recommended a hotel nearby.

We were really looking forward to the holiday and especially to the wellness area in the evening. We chose this hotel because of the 2 different saunas and their opening times. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed when we only found a Finnish sauna and learned that the bio sauna no longer exists since the renovation in the spring. This is still being advertised both on the homepage and in the NEW flyer. When we complained about the lack of a sauna when we left, all we said was "we have renovated". We simply felt cheated and didn't think the reaction was appropriate. Really a shame...The room was newly renovated, clean and tidy and was cleaned every other day. The bathroom is older and the shower is very small. One day the power went out overnight. When we reported this in the morning, the first question was "Again?" It was the first time for us, but it probably happens often. The breakfast buffet was very rich and there was a lot on offer. There really was nothing left to be desired!

Nice hotel with a small swimming pool and sauna. Ideal for loosening your bones after hiking.Half board is worth it, 3 dishes to choose from every day, always with a salad buffet, soup and dessert. Service in the evening was super nice, charming and hard-working. Breakfast with everything your heart desires. The only drawback was the cleaning of the room. According to the offer every other day, that didn't happen for us and we had to complain.

Friendly welcome. However, despite asking by email whether dinner could be enjoyed, after which we received positive confirmation, there turned out to be no room. We were not informed in advance that we had to make a reservation.Reception was rather chaotic.Very limited comfort in the bathroom..Very cleanNice view from the room.

Were in this beautiful house for the second time. Booking hassle-free, by phone! The house is very well maintained and very clean. Quietly located in a residential area. The rooms are spacious, tasteful with lots of wood, small kitchen corner, well-functioning shower in the bathroom, balcony with a view of the beautiful nature of the Bavarian Forest. The indoor pool and the entire wellness area are very tastefully decorated and the bathing water is pleasantly warm. A sumptuous breakfast buffet spoils you with a complete selection. We only had bed and breakfast so I can't say anything about the kitchen. Unfortunately the house does not have an elevator. Since it's also a sports hotel, it's okay! The entire staff is extremely friendly, polite and helpful. The room service was great. We'll definitely be back. Many thanks to the whole team for the great time.

We were very spontaneous with our booking and still received feedback very quickly and also an offer, which we also said over the phone. The only reason we didn't give it five stars was the poor Wi-Fi in our room. Since I was traveling with two small children, it would have been a little easier with internet in the evening to plan the new day. Otherwise, the service was super nice, accommodating! The food, we had half board, was, as always, prepared with love, a huge selection of fresh salads and also a great variety, something for everyone! The house's own pool and sauna area were very clean and very comfortable. We also had a small kitchen in the room itself, but not stocked with cutlery and pots? So on Sunday, when there was no dinner, we couldn't prepare anything in our room.
