No goodwill, despite death and early announcement! We, my husband Peter and I, had booked with the boss, Mr. Hahn, by phone and then in writing and, as before, we would have been happy to come. Unfortunately, my husband became very ill and had to go to the hospital a few weeks before the planned start of the trip. I called the hotel and asked if they could try to rent the room to someone else, which they agreed to do. When my husband died in the hospital before the start of the trip, I called to let him know again. The answer was that the boss wasn't there, but they would let him know. Next came a letter saying I had to pay everything. I then paid because there was already enough burden from the death and I didn't want to argue with a hotel manager. But you can't expect goodwill or support here - business is business, even if the husband traveling with you dies! The Widow, E. Rögner

Good location at the spa park, you can walk through the park to 2 thermal baths and you can also quickly get to the center. The breakfast buffet is sufficient, but always the same, without variety. We tried dinner, there are no flaws here. The house has a beautiful sauna area with free drinks and a beautiful pool in the house. But the house is in good condition in parts and renovations are necessary. The size of the apartment is good, but the carpet in the room, the small kitchen, the furniture and the bathroom need to be modernized. We had a lot of bugs in the room and in the hallway, especially bedbugs, so fly screens had to be installed there, the small terrace was actually unusable, dirty and had old patio furniture. If something is done here, it can more than score points with the location.

I booked the hotel because it has an indoor swimming pool that is 30 degrees (or it was almost 32 degrees...yay) and is open around the clock (where can you get something like that??), which for me was extreme It was a paradise for night owls, and it also had an indoor swimming pool with a step entrance and not a ladder. I would also like to mention positively that there are lots of small towels here, which is very practical. The wellness area is open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a steam bath, an infrared cabin and a sauna. Everything is really there and very nicely done. Another reason for booking was that there are also single room prices; as a single person you usually pay almost the same as two people. (It's bad enough when you have to travel alone because your beloved partner died far too young.) The price determined whether I treated myself to the night or whether I would rather go home. Other plus points were an underground car park, which is included in the price (you never know if there won't be hail) and also the fact that there is a restaurant (closed on Wednesdays). I also ate well. And now I feel the need to praise something that I have never experienced before. I arrived on an extremely hot day (my car's air conditioning was broken). After a quick check-in, I put the car in the garage, then when I took the elevator up, I discovered a room (that was open) where there was a coin-operated dryer and a coin-operated washing machine inside and a few crates of drinks, you can take something and put the room number on a list, it's unbelievable that someone in this day and age, where honesty is unfortunately often in short supply, still has such trust and the whole thing is soooooo a modest price, my soda cost €80 (plus I much prefer a glass bottle to a plastic bottle). I was so happy about this service and think it's exemplary!!!My room was rather old fashioned, but it was clean and the bed was very good. There were enough towels and the shower gel was particularly fine. The only criticism I can think of is that an insect screen would be very important and correct. On my glazed balcony a giant butterfly kept flying against the glass of the balcony door at night...it was very loud and I couldn't have opened the balcony door for anything in the world.I know that at some point I will treat myself to another night in this hotel, use the EuropaTherme (easily accessible on foot) during the day or walk around in the picture-book garden of the spa park beforehand and then splash around alone in an indoor pool at night, as long as I can wants.Thank you, it was very relaxing for me.L.G.Birgit H.

Nice hotel in a quiet location. Very friendly staff, well-equipped rooms and delicious food. There is also a great bathing and sauna area. I recommend the rooms in the new building as they are better equipped and have air conditioning. Everything is barrier-free and very child-friendly.
