Large rooms, standard, but everything you need is there. Bright, calm. Village character. Check in not before 3 p.m. Boss in a bad mood, no hello or welcome or how was the journey. Breakfast rich and good. Dinner was also good, 3 dishes to choose from, down-to-earth cuisine. Location decentralized, but much accessible by car. Hiking possible from the hotel, nothing else nearby. The swimming pool is ancient, probably from the 70s, but ok for swimming. Sauna the same. Service staff very nice.

A holiday resort that is already getting a bit old. The rooms are spacious with a seating area, although a refrigerator is only available in the suites. The restaurant has the feel of a canteen. The staff in the “restaurant” was very friendly. The food is rich, home-style cooking, but because it is presented as a buffet, it is no longer hot. The salad buffet was good and the soups were excellent. We were there with 4 small children and were looking forward to the swimming pool, which was unfortunately far too cold for the little ones, hence only 2 stars. The playground in the pictures is 400 m away and the path leads along the main road.

Room was clean and nice. Small terrace with a view of the greenery, very relaxing. Quiet apart from a few screaming children.Fridge was missing.Location very nice but also very remote. We booked the hotel based on the “very good” reviews on Booking, but unfortunately we were very disappointed.The rooms are old, noisy and offer an unpleasant sleeping experience due to poor mattresses and slatted frames. The furniture is also getting old and urgently needs renovation. In addition, there is no water to drink or a mini-fridge in the room, which is very inconvenient.The bathroom also leaves a lot to be desired: the tiles, the faucet and the shower are no longer attractive.The food was average and more reminiscent of cafeteria food. What was particularly annoying was that drinks such as water were charged additionally for half board.Overall, the stay did not meet our expectations and we cannot recommend the hotel.

The hotel was quite ok. It's getting a bit old. The room was clean! It's better to bring a hairdryer. It does have one, but the cable is so short that it is quite difficult to blow-dry your hair properly.The food was, if you don't have many expectations, ok!

The stay was very good, we had booked half board, and the service was top and the breakfast and dinner buffet left nothing to be desired, and the taste was also great. What I thought was a real shame, we also wanted to take advantage of the wellness offer, which is why we were looking for a wellness hotel. After booking the room (about 3 weeks before the start of the trip), I wanted to book the Welles program by phone. Unfortunately, I never reached anyone by phone. Nobody responded to my email. We were given a flyer on site. I had to make an appointment myself with the external masseuse. She, in turn, didn't come into the facility at all during our stay.So wellness was canceled. Unfortunately I have to say that for me it is not a wellness hotel. Apart from that, we had a nice stay.

Unbeatable in terms of price-performance ratio! Room 25sqm with everything you need, of course not a designer room but neat and clean! Anyone who is dissatisfied with the booked price has themselves to blame! Breakfast costs 14 euros and is absolutely filling for this price. Dinner with soup, salad bar, 2 main courses, butter, cold cuts, bread and dessert for 24 euros, you can eat whatever you want and it tastes good. Swimming pool and sauna ok, a bit old, but where can you get it for the prices there? The area is simply beautiful and there is a lot to see! If you're not just interested in hiking, a car is definitely recommended. Nice employees!

The breakfast is very rich and the warm dishes change daily. There are two different scrambled egg preparations every day. The coffee selection leaves nothing to be desired. Everything is very clean and well maintained, the staff is friendly, polite and attentive.Unfortunately you could only stay in the restaurant until 9 p.m. in the evening. Unfortunately, having a glass of wine with friends in a convivial atmosphere is no longer possible afterwards.

The best part: they offer the AktivCard with tons of activities included in the wider area: e.g., 2h e bike rental, roller coaster rides, cable car rides, museums, swimming arenas, etc etc.

Very interesting concept. A central service building (reception, restaurant, operating rooms) and the rooms arranged in a circle around it.Double-storey buildings. Above are the larger units.Every room has a balcony/terrace.So you can also hear your neighbors while relaxing in the evening.Food from the buffet was okay.Highlight at dinner: The hidden actions (verbal and active) of the service staff (male).Excellent start to an action, hiking or cycling tour.

Super nice vacation in a great hotel room :-)Until yesterday there were five of us (grandma, grandpa, mom and two children aged 9 and 11) in this great hotel.The family suite was great, spacious, even had hotplates and a refrigerator, a huge balcony with a great view, a large bathroom with a bathtub. Contrary to some of the previous speakers, some of whose reviews I find really cheeky (because those who can read are clearly at an advantage), we were able to take a great shower. If you are a little taller, you have to sit, but it is also stated in the description because there is a sloping roof.So complaining at a high level.The staff is extremely friendly and loves children.There is an indoor swimming pool that we really enjoyed using after excursions on really hot days. I also think some of the reviews are really about it. It was absolutely fine.There are two table tennis tables, accessories for which you can get free of charge at reception.Each of us found more than enough to eat at the breakfast buffet and the evening buffet. Even the girls were excited (and that's saying something).Lots of things to do nearby and some of them are completely free thanks to Activcard.We'll definitely be back! Thank you for the great stay :-)

This hotel has had its best days. For our taste it is more for hikers, but it is too expensive for that.Main points of criticism:The furnishings of the rooms are from the 80s.The “buffet” is relatively manageable, both for breakfast and dinner. Nothing special about it, the sauces from the packet are rather difficult for vegetarians because of the limited selection. Also difficult for children. Reminded me more of an office canteen.The “highlight” is the swimming pool: you have to go to the neighboring hotel for that. There awaits you ONE pool in one with the charm of the 80s. The "rest room" is an ice-cold storage room. An absolute disgrace.The shower option in the room was also great: no shower but a bathtub under the sloping roof. So you had to bend over to shower.All in all, not a recommendation, way too expensive. I can't understand the positive reviews written here at all...that has a taste for me.

The room was great, the staff was very accommodating. The food (half board) was really fantastic and varied! If you don't find what you're looking for here, it's your own fault!Only the guests of the neighboring hotel were sometimes very noisy well into the night, but the Village Hotel can't do anything about that.Accommodation also highly recommended with a dog. There is an extra dog station with waste bags and disposal options. Since the hotel is located in the middle of nature, it invites you to take long walks.We'll definitely be back!
