The house was originally run as a sanatorium. Simply renaming it to Thermenhotel doesn't work somehow. The atmosphere is still like a sanatorium and the rooms are very simple. We didn't really feel comfortable.The house has a small indoor thermal pool as well as an outdoor pool and a bathrobe corridor directly to the Europatherme. All of this, combined with the location in the middle of Bad Füssing, could make the house a top address. To do this, it would also have to convey the character of a hotel instead of an outdated sanatorium feeling. Unfortunately the breakfast was nothing. Badly baked rolls, thawed bread and a very simple offer of cheap goods. Even Rotkäppchen champagne and a bit of salmon can't shake it off.I also found it a bit disturbing that you have to pay a €50 deposit for two room keys. I've never experienced that in a hotel. Does the hotelier not trust his guests to be able to pay for a lost key?But there are also positives: the employees were consistently very friendly and welcoming. The house was extremely clean everywhere, even though it was getting old in many areas.The operators have to think about which direction they want to go. Thermal hotel (then some modernization and redesign would certainly be necessary) or sanatorium. At the moment it is neither.

We stayed in the ThermenHotel for 12 days. Very friendly staff and also a nice boss. Breakfast was deliciously prepared every morning and everything was always fresh. The rooms are always very clean. The whole house and garden are very well maintained and clean. We'll be back. A&H Klein

Bad Füssing is beautiful, the hotel staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the breakfast is fantastic! BUT here the seniors and pensioners have taken over the world. As a family with children you feel like exotic people. Unfortunately, this was not communicated to us in advance and it is not visible on the internet either. I cannot recommend this vacation spot for families.

As soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed with a glass of champagne. The ladies at reception were helpful with advice and support. The breakfast was fantastic. You could get coffee, tea and water free of charge 24/7. Other drinks could be purchased from a vending machine. If the hotel's indoor and outdoor swimming pools aren't enough, you can buy tickets for the Europatherme at reception. These offer a price reduction.We'd love to come back.

All in all, we were in very good hands as a large family! The staff is very friendly and helpful! Unfortunately there is no sauna in the house.

This was our first time traveling to Bad Füssing but definitely not the last time. Our expectations were totally exceeded. You feel warmly welcome at the Tannenhof. The breakfast is sensational so you can start the day in a relaxed manner. Service is very important here. We had the pleasure of receiving excellent physical therapy from Ms. Krieg & Ms. Kriegl on a daily basis. We say thank you very much

So everything was quite nice, good breakfast buffet, friendly staff, nice pool, rooms were also ok, unfortunately very poor WiFi, on the day of arrival I wanted to pay with a debit card or visa, the strange answer was, that's not possible because we're from Austria Come 🤔 You could pay by card in every restaurant, but not in this hotel, very strange

The reception was very cool, I'm still waiting for the glass of champagne today. The room and bathroom are functional, but nothing more. It needs a basic renovation. Shower head doesn't spray and the entrance to the shower is high and right next to the toilet - very narrow.The breakfast ladies are very nice.All in all, I didn't get the room that was promised to me and the rooms on Kurallee are very loud.

Treatments, sea salt grotto and thermal baths in the house as well as a sunbathing lawn and the bathrobe walk to the Europatherme offer ideal conditions for a spa treatment or wellness days. The rooms are equipped with all the essentials and are well maintained. A delicious breakfast with attentive service, free coffee specialties and mineral water round off the offer. In the last hot days of summer, a freezer with ice cream specialties was even provided free of charge. Gladly again👍

Super nice hotel. Everything is very clean and tidy. The staff is top! An excellent breakfast and free coffee specialties round off the stay very nicely. Not to forget the 2 thermal water pools in the hotel and the bathrobe walk into the Europatherme are simply great. Highly recommended all around. We'd love to come back.

Stayed here in the hotel from March 19th to 21st. Great breakfast hotel. Rooms OK and clean. Salt cave quite pleasant but cool. Not recommended for young people, as the average age is quite high. We were by far the youngest at just over 40 😅But otherwise clean, nice and cheap hotel, with great massages and spas.
