Nicely renovated but some little things were simply done poorly. The room is very clean and comfortably furnished, kettle, coffee powder and sugar are also available. TV is unimportant, but despite being close to the border it is only in Czech. The service in the restaurant is excellent, the menu is very varied, the dishes are very tasty and the portions are large. The price is very good, on average €10 per dish.

Very pleasant service, great sirloin steak, large portions, good prices. I only have a reservation about the draft kofola, it had a weak taste, apparently the keg was running out. But otherwise I recommend it.

The cooking here is good, but the price is incomparable with the competition 100 meters away. Personally, I would like to lower the prices. It is mainly intended for German.

We were only in the restaurant, but I have to give it a definite 5/5. The service is very pleasant and the environment as well. The food was very good and the prices reasonable 🫶🏻

Although I cannot evaluate the hotel as such, because I ended up canceling my stay due to health reasons, but I would like to highlight the actions of the owner/manager, with whom I dealt with the whole matter. The lady is very nice, willing and she went out of her way to accommodate me in everything. For sure, if I ever go to Šumava, I will definitely stay there.

We were here with a friend as the end of the day after a long Šumava hike and it was beyond our expectations! Super nice and fast service, food totally great! We went here twice during our short stay in Špičák. I had the best tenderloin and my friend had the sous vide neck.

The review only applies to the restaurant.We visited this restaurant for the first time and for the last time.The staff was pleasant, which, along with the homemade lemonade, is the only positive thing about this restaurant.For food, we had tartare and deer with rosehip sauce, which looked really good on the plate, but unfortunately the taste was not that good.The tartare was absolutely unseasoned, the only good thing about it was the toast.Unfortunately, the venison with rosehip sauce was even bigger. The rosehip sauce, which tasted like tomato, could still be eaten, but the meat, which was completely dried out and had no taste, could only be eaten with water. The only dumplings were quite edible, so I doubt the chef made them right there!I admire the staff on the set for being able to work with such a chef.Thanks for wasting money on food.

We were here for a long weekendThe hotel has been renovated, so everything is new, clean, so it's top for us.. The breakfast is the same every day, but it's the same every day... The food is also the maximum satisfaction... But what disappointed me already upon arrival, not so much a kind and helpful waiter... And then his colleague, the same thing, even though it was probably a part-time job, it was such flies, eat me... And next time I would choose a room not facing the street... After all, we have small children, we go to bed earlier and if you have a room above the terrace it's not quite Ok ..
