The Pension Wiesenau seems inconspicuous, but the owners are incredibly friendly.We were warmly welcomed.Staying with a dog wasn't a problem at all; the owner even gave Lando treats.Unfortunately we had to leave early, but that wasn't a problem at all.We would be happy to come back on our next visit to the Bavarian Forest.

Very good, quiet location, very friendly couple who run the guesthouse. The breakfast with the freshly cut fruit salad and the homemade cake was so filling. The best part of our ten-night bike tour. Thank you ! We would be pleased to recommend you further !

Visited as a family (2 adults, 2 small children). The owners of the guesthouse were super nice and accommodating. The rooms are well equipped, extremely clean and in good condition. The breakfast is really incredibly good, one of the best we've ever had in an accommodation. We would love to come back.

At first the boss was friendly but that quickly changed when we had questions about the priceUnfortunately it wasn't transparent and there was a communication problem due to thisUnfortunately she became very abusiveEven through booking we would have paid less(We are supposed to pay what we want and were practically thrown out)For what we paid we were very dissatisfied with the guesthouseTheir pictures on the website didn't correspond to reality and there was a huge construction site all over the cityThat could have been mentioned too.At least she updated the price list(Even with that we don't get the amount we paid)We would have liked an exact price listBut apparently she didn't understand that.She really ruined our vacation with her unfriendly manner.

The guesthouse is really very clean and family friendly! In terms of price, breakfast is better than in a 5 star hotel, coffee tea cocoa is free 24 hours a day. The guesthouse has a refrigerator with several drinks, wine, beer, soft drinks, etc. available at very reasonable prices. You simply write down your name when you take something out. The surrounding area is great right on the border with the Czech Republic... You get tickets for free S-Bahn rides... the garden is super beautiful. We will definitely recommend it and come back. Very cozy and honest guesthouse with a private flair. We really enjoyed our stay (10 days of hiking and exploring the area) and would like to come back. Comprehensive breakfast with rolls, jam, sausage, cheese, fruit, cake, muesli and so on is lovingly served. The furnishings of the rooms can be seen in the pictures. It's very clean. We found the price-performance ratio to be very good. Public transport and hiking buses were included (the train station is next door) so our car was in the free parking lot the entire time. Great restaurants also in the immediate vicinity.

Hello everyone,We had a very nice weekend!Bed and breakfast. We were 2 adults and a child. Breakfast was plentiful. Delicious. Clean rooms. Play opportunities in the garden for the little ones. Nice landlord and mistress. Very family friendly. Idyllic with many recreational areas, amusement parks, sights and lots of restaurants to suit every palate! Unfortunately no photos were taken as time was short. Definitely worth a visit. Greetings to the pension family.

always great! We (small family 2 adults 2 children) have been guests in the guesthouse several times and are always thrilled. You can expect a sumptuous breakfast that definitely beats any hotel buffet. From various fresh rolls, eggs, various toppings and daily fresh fruit salad to muesli, lovingly homemade cakes and of course coffee and various types of tea, everything is there. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped and very clean. The hosts are very helpful and not only try to make the stay as pleasant as possible, but are also very accommodating with excursion tips and a warm, open manner.The area itself is perfect for families, you can get your children used to skiing. The local ski rental companies Pöschl and Raith are very helpful and provide everyone with excellent equipment, regardless of whether it is about new equipment of your own or rental equipment for the beginning. The ski schools have top instructors who are great with both children and beginners. And if the weather doesn't cooperate, there is the Bavarian Forest National Park, a railway museum and, within a short drive, a mine (Silberberg) or the Joska Glass Paradise in Bodenmais, to name just a few small excursion destinations. Last but not least, don't forget the many cross-country skiing opportunities. We thank you for the wonderful times and look forward to seeing you again soon!
