We were guests at Kronberg for a long weekend. The welcome on arrival was warm and friendly. The entire service staff was also friendly. The rooms are nice and big and clean. A few blemishes here and there are evidence of the many visitors. Unfortunately, we couldn't really enjoy the wellness area because all of the loungers were occupied by guests who were just lying around there, making do with the free drinks and having fun with their smartphones. As I said, there were no free loungers and we would have liked to lie down after a sauna or steam bath, so after an hour we went to our rooms on the hard bench above the heater and played billiards or darts.Then why only 3*?Unfortunately we weren't important enough at the table. Guests who ordered at the bar were given priority and we were forgotten. But the waiter apologized for it.The second star deduction goes to the breakfast. For a hotel in this price range, you can expect a little more than just the run-of-the-mill breakfast. It was a good idea that you can make your own scrambled eggs according to your wishes.Overall, the stay was good and relaxing.

Great hotel - but it's not enough for 5 stars. Nevertheless, you can recommend it.+ For adults only.+ Very large rooms and large bathroom.+ Great breakfast. There's a bit of everything. You can prepare your own fried eggs, scrambled eggs or omelets.+ Coffee, tea, water and juice included in the price all day long.+ The employees were all very friendly and attentive+ Sauna and steam bath- There was no water pressure in the shower in the bathroom. There was hardly any water. It was either cold or very hot.- Light in the bathroom is controlled via motion detectors. If you shower for too long, the light simply goes out.- Not enough sunbathing options for guests in the swimming pool. This was noticeable when the weather was bad, as many guests left the swimming pool disappointed.- Water in the pool not exactly warm. The massage jets are virtually non-existent. Only cold water comes.- One evening the bartender knocked wildly on the room door and asked us to pay for a beer we hadn't paid for at the bar. We never ordered a drink at the bar.

This was our second time in Kronberg. Our room, unfortunately without a balcony and facing the street, wasn't that nice but the beds are very good and comfortable. The bathroom needs to be renovated, the shower can hardly be adjusted between cold and hot and the water pressure is very moderate. Breakfast until 12 p.m. is of course pleasant and has a very good selection. You could possibly think about the supplier of the rolls, they are a bit very soft but that would also be complaining on a high level. What is pleasant is that the hotel is an adult hotel. The staff are very friendly, especially Richard, an “original Waidler” at the bar and reception, who lives his job and Brigitte, who is very friendly and accommodating at breakfast. A house stands or falls with its employees. We also had dinner at the Natura Hotel and I think some of the employees there could learn something from the Kronberg. A detour to the gourmet restaurant Oswald is definitely recommended. We'd love to come back!

Adult-only hotel, therefore very quiet.Our room (type 1) was on the 2nd floor with a balcony facing west. Because of the summer weather, it was quite warm.Otherwise clean and comfortable room with separate toilet/bidet.Guest safe in the closet.Great “late riser” breakfast buffet, until 12 p.m. And coffee, tea, water until 8 p.m.Unfortunately the location is not romantic and quite far from the town center.Very friendly staff, both at reception, at breakfast and also at room service.

The hotel largely met our expectations. However, there were several small things that we didn't really like and that you should actually expect in a hotel of this category (e.g. lack of a whirlpool, no salmon at the breakfast buffet or the hardly adjustable cold or hot water setting when showering.

Our stay was very pleasant and relaxing, unless we were in the room.There was no air conditioning to cool down the almost 30° in the room. We won't come back in the summer (without air conditioning in the room).Otherwise a very nice hotel with a feel-good sauna, pool and bar.

The rooms were very clean and spacious, the staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a safe and a small refrigerator in the closet in the room. There was a wellness area and a room with a dartboard and billiards table. The outdoor area is beautifully designed with seating areas and loungers. The breakfast is very rich and there is something for everyone. I can't understand some of the reviews where people complained that the tables weren't cleared. When we sat at breakfast, the employees were constantly rushing around, clearing away and wiping down tables. Occasionally people asked whether everything was okay.In the evening there were very tasty cocktails mixed by the friendly staff member Khalid. An employee who, in our opinion, fits this position perfectly. It's hard to imagine him anywhere else. There were also a few short friendly sentences with the chambermaids as they walked past in the hallway.

We just came from the Kempinski Hotel in Berchtesgarden and wanted to stop here. Online, the hotel also looked like it would meet our needs. The price was justified, but when we arrived we immediately looked for a new hotel and checked out again, where of course we wasted €500.There is no elevator to the 3rd floor and therefore its room and the corridor is quite narrow so if you have a lot of luggage you are at a loss.There is no air conditioning, the rooms are “newly renovated” - semi good, but the bathroom is not renewed and is reminiscent of my grandmother's bathroom.The rooms are dark, not a nice view & it smells a bit musty. In summary, we didn't feel comfortable at all.The staff at reception were okay, not unfriendly but not super friendly either.If you are looking for a hotel that makes you feel comfortable, you have come to the wrong place. We are now on the way to the new hotel :)UPDATE: But we booked the double room under the name Völcker & our booking number was: 60247996 on July 18, 2024 :)

The hotel impresses with its harmonious interior, the extremely friendly staff and the well-kept wellness area. A good breakfast selection leaves nothing to be desired. During the day you can enjoy coffee and soft drinks at the station.
