The Hotel “Zum Koch” is a beautiful wellness hotel. With a great spa area that is well equipped. Large indoor pool, beautiful sauna with finish and bio sauna, infrared cabin, steam bath and salt grotto. Many different relaxation areas/rooms with heated benches.Very well-equipped fitness room. Pampering offers in the massage area. Drinks and fresh fruit are available in the SAP star area.Bathrobe, towels and bathing bag are part of the service.Also a spin dryer for wet swimwear👍The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. There is something for every diet here. The restaurant is nice, friendly staff and the food is good and beautifully prepared. Once you've been shown in, you can easily find the same table. Great organization. The bar has a great drinks menu, delicious cocktails and very friendly service.Our room fairy left a perfectly clean room for us every day.Reception very friendly staff who don't keep you waiting.Unfortunately, we were unable to use the beautiful outdoor facilities such as the sun terrace and garden due to the weather ⛅️🌬️☔️.Parking fee of 3 euros per day. Attractively priced.When you leave there are water bottles for you to take on the go, great.Our stay was great. I can only recommend the hotel. The location is quiet on a hill, but not far from the next town or village.The only mangoThe rooms in the old part are simple/functional and you can hear your neighbors.Overall a fabulous hotel. A very nice wellness hotel in Lower Bavaria. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You feel comfortable in every area, be it reception, restaurant or wellness area.The hotel is modern and at the same time with a Bavarian taste.The food was excellent: fresh, tasty and with a large selection, so there is something for every taste.I reached the hotel from Munich by public transport (not recommended with DB, not repeating) and the journey was very strenuous but the impression of the hotel makes up for it all.😅😊Would love to come back here.Thanks for the service!🙏🏻🧘🏻♀️♥️

A great hotel with a fantastic wellness area. Everything is very clean and comfortable, just to feel good. Fruit and drinks in the wellness area and always fresh towels. Very nice people in service who take care of everything - thank you!Our room had not yet been renovated, but was pleasantly large and functionally furnished. We had an excellent rest and will definitely come back.

We stayed 7 nights in the tastefully furnished Hotel Koch. We had 3/4 meals and were thrilled by the delicious cuisine and the friendly staff. We felt very comfortable and can warmly recommend the hotel.

An extremely well-maintained hotel with an excellent restaurant and modern rooms. Ideally located for trips to Passau, Pullmann City or just to relax and play golf.The wellness area requires special emphasis, everything you could want is available including a large garden and a fitness room in which all the equipment “works”.It's not yet evening, we'll be back again, no question!

Great hotel, I really liked it here. My room was functionally furnished, had a nice balcony and was very clean. Only the bathroom needs an update and the television could easily be two sizes larger.Breakfast is served as a buffet with a huge selection. Some components are freshly prepared, great.The fine wellness area includes several saunas, relaxation rooms, a small swimming pool and a beautiful outdoor lawn. Everything is in good condition, someone from service often comes to clean up. Also great: there are plenty of towels in the sauna area, which eliminates the annoying begging that is common in many other hotels.There is also a small bar with fresh drinks and fruit.The employees were all extremely friendly, which I also liked. Thank you for the attentive service, I will definitely stay here again!

Very nice, quiet hotel. We were warmly welcomed with a toddler (2 years old). All the employees were very nice and accommodating. Our suit with a bathtub in the bedroom was a dream. Breakfast buffet was also great and there was something for everyone.The wellness area is also great.Our son really enjoyed the playroom and the small playground.All in all, I can highly recommend this hotel.However, hotel operators should consider installing air conditioning in the rooms. A nice hotel in itself! I booked an overnight stay for an adult and two children including dinner through Booking and then had to pay extra for the children's dinner! In my opinion that doesn't work at all!

There is a lot of room for improvement. The rooms are very old, the shower is very small. The outdoor wellness area is unkempt, the loungers have been there for what feels like forever. Breakfast was very 👍 good, the evening menu could do with a selection of snacks, only sausage salad. The waitresses are probably dissatisfied and you can tell that as a guest.

The hotel is about 15-20 minutes from Passau and we were lucky to book the hotel for one night for our Passau trip. Pure relaxation, very nice staff. and a rich breakfast. More relaxation and unwinding is not possible. Many thanks to the entire staff.

The hotel is in a nice, quiet location and Passau can be reached in 20 minutes. There is a lot to see nearby and a good breakfast is provided.Because a lot of things have already been renovated and brought up to date, the price-performance ratio is great. A standard room has everything you need, a bit older but very clean.

Nice large rooms, unfortunately no air conditioning - on days with high temperatures the room heats up a lot. Modern facilities. Daily fee for parking in front of the house. Breakfast buffet satisfactory, but nothing special. It was hardly refilled, rolls and pretzels were only baked, egg dishes were cold.Dinner wasn't particularly special either - loveless salad (rocket falling apart), dumpling trio (burnt black). Definitely too expensive for that.
