We spent 7 days in Phoenix on a prevention trip.Full board was included and the food was really delicious.Varied lunch and dinner, the breakfast buffet was sufficient and good. You can't complain about the food here, but you can complain about the staff. The receptionist was quite rude when it came to information and reception, something she should work on if she wants to keep her job at the hotel in the long term.Unfortunately, the hotel doesn't have its own swimming pool, so we had to hike to another hotel every day in winter. The rooms were just about acceptable, a bit old and the hotel corridor smelled not particularly inviting during the week, rather stinky. The service in the restaurant was very friendly and responded very quickly to requests. But what is not possible AT ALL is that they charge 15.00 (fifteen) euros for a 0.7 liter bottle of WATER.Are you crazy?!!!

The two of us were there at the beginning of September as part of a 6-day offer from AKON and after leaving we were completely satisfied with what we found. Based on our experience, we would recommend a stay there to friends. Then why not five stars? That would seem like the ultimate adulation, I'm afraid.

A variety of facilities (forests, parks, institutions along paths, magnificent flowers and bushes and water/pond facilities. Colorful and interesting. Almost all paths are suitable for walkers. A "seniors' paradise.

Active week in Bad Füssing - Hotel Phönix --> not recommended for people with celiac disease or gluten intoleranceMy experiences with the corresponding restrictions (in addition to gluten I also have lactose and I'm a vegetarian) were off-putting.Before booking, I asked whether it was possible to pay attention to the three points because of the half board - I was assured that it would not be a problem at all. After I pointed this out again when confirming the booking, by phone a week before arrival and at check-in, I went to dinner feeling hopeful and was disappointed. Well, I figured it was the first evening, it would work out. No, it got worse and became absurd over the week.Breakfast - who likes untoasted slices of Schär bread straight from the packaging?I was happy that there was something for me, but I was told there was no toaster in the hotel and no other way to toast the bread. But no one from the staff wanted to try what it tasted like. What I know now: several Johannesbad hotels belong together and they cook cheaply from a shared commercial kitchen. Therefore, such individual reactions are not possible. That would be ok if it hadn't been promised beforehand. In addition, the additives indicated on the daily plan are not fully specified, I was stopped from having the vegetarian food (vegetable curry) on the last evening because there was milk in it. This was not identified as an allergen. This entry is only there to discourage other affected people from booking there and to save them a week of hassle, excuses and unpleasant situations. Our very friendly chambermaid, actually a woman (why doesn't anyone get upset about this job title?), did the best job. It was perfect work every day. Rarely has the cleaning been so good throughout when I have stayed in a hotel for a longer period of time. That was outstanding.Warm greetings also to Otmara from reception, professional through and through.

I've been here for the sixth day now and I can really recommend this hotel. The food is a dream, the rooms were clean and the cleaning lady always asks whether it should be cleaned, even if you have the sign hanging outside. At dinner between 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. you can book a flat-rate drink package for 8.50 euros and drink as much as you can during that time. The small but nice sauna area is completely sufficient. You will also receive a band where you can use the nearby Johannestherme thermal baths every day.Otherwise typical for Bad Füssingen, everything is within walking distance.

Reception wasn't exactly friendly. We were served by an older woman. She also didn't tell us where and what time breakfast was. Also not whether there is a buffet or a normal breakfast menu.Parking was extra chargeable. The room is already getting old. Few television channels available.

Good price to performance ratio. And the service is good in practically all areas.
