Can only rate our lunch today. This was extremely pleasant. The meat was on point, the rest was also very tasty and fresh. Restaurant was very decorative and nicely decorated. A single operation and still no waiting time. All in all perfect 💪🏻👍🏻

In short, if you want to ruin your vacation, go to this hotel. Staff rude and unfriendly, sometimes extremely rude and therefore service poor. Food itself was ok, the wish was expressed for a vegetarian dessert other than a dry waffle from breakfast, which should have been announced. Wellness area is riveting and everything costs extra, including towels.

We were there from July 14th. until July 19, 2024 in this beautiful hotel. Really a real pearl.Since I have to eat a gluten-free diet because of my celiac disease, I called the hotel beforehand to find out more. Everything went great with the food. For the first time in a hotel I got gluten-free schnitzel, extra pasta salad and even gluten-free pizza. I've never experienced it before!The entire team at the hotel, from the kitchen, service, room service and not forgetting the lady in the wellness area, are just really great! Everything at least 10 stars!!We were very excited and will definitely go there again!

A little gem in the middle of the Bavarian Forest. The hotel, the rooms and the grounds are very clean and well maintained. The entire team is very friendly and helpful. The food is a 10 out of 10. Lots of little details make your holiday here sweeter.

A really nice hotel for dog owners and families with children. Playground, deer enclosure, pool and beautiful wellness area with a great view. The aroma oil massage is a dream! Super clean rooms, which I didn't always find in other more expensive hotels. Very quiet location and direct paths for hiking. The food also tasted very good, you could choose from 3 dishes in the evening, what more could you want.

Rooms are newly furnished and lovingly designed. Quiet location in beautiful countryside. Service excellent and friendly. Dog friendly in all areas. Restaurant outstanding as part of half board with several dishes to choose from. All complete culinary highlights and attractively presented. Really recommended - outstanding cuisine. Rich breakfast buffet. The whole family and staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is highly recommended, contemporary and modern decor.The service was courteous and quick. The location is away from street noise in the middle of the beautiful nature of the Bavarian Forest.You can put together the side salads yourself from the buffet as you wish.The menu is varied and has something for every taste.There are also changing weekly specials and, when we visited, a daily special that was not mentioned on the menu.Also suitable for vegans/vegetarians.We were pleasantly surprised throughout. We would be happy to come back and give you a clear recommendation!

We were invited to a surprise wellness vacation in dreary November. The hotel made up for it! Swimming was possible at any time (e.g. before breakfast), sauna registration about 30 minutes in advance, a very lovingly relaxing massage was included in the package, very personal hosts, delicious food, very clean, inviting rooms, beautiful decoration, starting point for relaxed hikes in a very quiet area Location - highly recommended for guests who don't like the hustle and bustle of a large hotel... We'll definitely come back!

A great family run hotel. The food was a dream, the facilities were very child-friendly, and overall everything was perfect. The friendly Saint Bernard only came when called (otherwise very reserved), the deer are tame, there is a playground and the small swimming pool was pleasantly warm for the time of year. Everything was very familiar. The accommodation and food made for a relaxing holiday. Children and dogs are welcome and can also eat. It was still always a pleasant atmosphere. If you don't like both, you should vacation somewhere else.

Small and fine family hotel in the heart of the Bavarian Forest. The hosts are very nice, friendly and accommodating. The food was to die for. The breakfast buffet was sufficient and had lots of fresh ingredients. The wellness offer (massage, whirlpool) is highly recommended. We were there for a week, let ourselves be pampered and enjoyed the peace and quiet, perfect to escape from everyday life and unwind. You can start many hikes from the hotel. In any case, the Bavarian Forest has a lot to offer worth seeing, it won't be boring. If the weather is bad (which we didn't have), you can also use the pool. A playground for children is also available.We can and will definitely recommend the hotel.

This was the second time we were able to spend a family vacation here. The rich breakfast buffet ensures a good start to the day. The delicious dinner (with advance order or in buffet form on the theme evenings) leaves nothing to be desired. The children are kept busy thanks to the playground and deer enclosure, and the wellness area is very relaxing for the parents. The hardly any traffic on the road ensures general peace and quiet. We would love to come back...

As soon as I arrived I was greeted by a completely wet and dirty St. Bernard servant.The reception was manned around 3 p.m. by a gentleman in private, not attractive clothing who then gave me a little information about the partly outdated hotel. I was given the room key and then had to carry my luggage up the stairs alone. The room was clean but tiny and after I had spread out the pillow for my dog the room was full.When we asked if there was a larger room, this was answered in the negative.The afternoon coffee and cake was fine.Dinner was bottom drawer.Old bread as a starter, a soup with a mushroom and some spring onions in it, which was served by an old gentleman with his fly up.Nothing attractive!The main course wasn't anything that could be said to be tasty either.I then saved myself dessert and went to my tiny plot.Since I was tired from the journey, I tried to sleep, but after the umpteenth mosquito that bit me, it was enough, after only 7 hours I left bitterly disappointed.I will never book the hotel again.

A very nice family-run hotel with a very nice environment. Family and child friendly. Great food, nice rooms, wellness by appointment. Super nice service staff, own game reserve, a pool, a cozy beer garden. Own table during the entire booking period except for the theme evenings (when the weather is nice), the meal takes place in a cozy setting outside with nice conversations. This is the fourth time we have been guests and we always feel like we are in good hands with the Aigner family and their staff, as well as their guests, and we are already looking forward to the next time.See you soon...Silvia + Patric

Food was okay, but buffet (or theme evening) instead of as described3 course menu. You were seated at a table with complete strangers (some with children) - not pleasant if you want to have peace and quiet on vacation. I felt like I was in a beer garden. Very unfortunate.In general, it seemed as if almost all of the guests were traveling with children.Owner was very friendly. Single room (without balcony, facing the courtyard) was clean, but furnished in a very old-fashioned way (but somehow that worked and didn't bother me). But for me it wasn't suitable for staying for a long time because: incredible heat due to the attic location (even at night), almost constant noise (from driving cars or tractors in the yard, conversations and clinking dishes from the kitchen across the street, screaming children in the yard or in neighboring rooms, general lack of hearing) and a number of mosquitoes (fly screens on the windows would be a great purchase).I really enjoyed the breakfast (fresh rolls!) The surroundings seemed very idyllic.For guests who want to relax and have a wellness holiday, who need peace and quiet and no screaming children, I recommend against the hotel. It is clearly a family hotel only with the option of wellness. But the focus is on the children... Families with children will probably feel right at home (pool with outdoor loungers, fallow deer enclosure, large playground with trampoline, various board games to borrow, etc. are available).
