It was a great stay! Despite the delay due to a car breakdown, everything was prepared for me, even a specially printed sign for me on the front door. Many thanks to the friendly and courteous team at the house with their excellent cuisine. The decor was a very appealing ambience between rustic and modern. You always had an open ear for the guest. A real recommendation for the place and I would love to come back!

Excellent beer, very tasty, high quality food and highly motivated and friendly staff. Children are still very welcome here.The only bad thing is that in a house this size you can't pay the bill with a credit card. So we had to go to the local Volksbank again.

A great stay at the Gasthof zur Mühle!I had a wonderful weekend at the Gasthof zur Mühle and was completely thrilled. The “Rosi” room was very nice, I especially liked the balcony. All the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and always addressed me by my name, which gave me a very personal and pleasant feeling.The food was simply outstanding! I particularly liked the schnitzel - so delicious that I ordered it several times. The fries were perfect and the potato salad was really top notch. I'm looking forward to trying the roast pork next time I visit.It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay and I definitely plan on coming back soon – maybe even for a longer stay. Many thanks to the entire team!Best regards,

We can really recommend the inn and we had a lot of fun on the long weekend. We used the thermal baths nearby, which can be reached quickly by car. But the area is also suitable for cycling and hiking. …

We were only at the inn for dinner, but the building makes a very cozy impression.From the greeting to the farewell it was absolutely great. The food is incredibly tasty, the onion roast was pink to the last bite, and special requests were also fulfilled. The staff is very warm and gives the impression that they still enjoy their job. The prices are also more than reasonable. We would love to come back :)

The inn is highly recommended. The service is very friendly, the atmosphere is spacious and modern. The kitchen is excellent. Such fluffy bread dumplings with tender roast pork are second to none. Something like this only occurs with mothers.

We were there to unwind and the inn was the right place. Nice room, the whole inn is iconic 👍 and the staff is really friendly..... thank you 🌺. There is a good regional breakfast and the food in the inn is cooked with Bavarian love 😉.The area is great for hiking (there are also hiking tips) and the thermal baths are not far. So highly recommended 🙋♀️

I live in the beautiful Rottal...like good food...Bavarian tradition...but what they cook here isn't worth the expensive money...maybe most people don't care anymore what and where they eat...they know it not better...but there are nicer beer gardens...without yodeling decorations...and with a kitchen that deserves the name...

Ambiance is nice, staff friendly. With the increased prices in general and especially in the catering industry, we don't go out to eat as often anymore and it's all the more disappointing when the quality isn't really up to par. Criticism 1: Schnitzl with a side dish without salad, if you wish you can also get a small side salad, but there is an extra charge, so that's almost € 20 (!), Schnitzl was good, enough for a woman's portion, not enough for men. Fries cheap fryer fries. Criticism 2: Roast pork with dumplings and coleslaw: came in a soup plate, 2 limp pieces of meat that were almost drowned in ready-made sauce. Dumplings worked, but weren't a culinary highlight, and coleslaw was ready-made from a bucket. Criticism 3: When you enter the beer garden you are informed by a sign to wait, the staff will pick you up and bring you to the table. Please, we are here in Hintertupfing in a tavern with a beer garden, not in Munich at the Käfer. If you think you want to be something better, then you should start with quality food. Conclusion: We are locals from the neighborhood, once and never again!
