But I don't recommend it as sleeping itself is great but there is no internet in this respect this hotel is not suitable unless you are close to the reception then you have something there then forget about the internet

Nice hotel. However, it's a bit out of the way if you want to visit the Bavarian Forest and it takes an evening walk into town and then you have to go back up the mountain. There is a transition to the neighboring swimming pool and you are actually in the middle of the countryside.

Why only 3 stars ⭐️Simply because some things weren't right for a 4 star hotel and detracted from the overall impression. The reception was friendly and we had a good time, but the fact that they don't hand over the spa cards straight away is not that professional and has never happened to us before.The rooms were nicely decorated and left a good impression. If you look for dust, you can also find some at higher altitudes where the cleaning staff can't reach or don't see it. But I'm not so picky because the rest was fine.The balcony was nice and big with a nice view.Wi-Fi is also not that great in the hotel unless you sit in the entrance area.It didn't bother us as much because we don't have any data limits on our cell phones and could therefore send holiday greetings, etc.But what disappointed us most was the half board in the evening.The selection of dishes is, to put it mildly, poor.On the first evening a tomato soup as a starter and two dishes to choose from.One schnitzel with fries or a salad with turkey strips.On the second evening there was pancake soup which was tasty but the portion was small.The main courses this time were onion meat “Munich style”With roasted dumplings and a small mixed salad. However, according to Keller, it was already over at 7 p.m. So only dish two remained: “Dumpling Pan”With Romaneco & nutsHerb cream sauce.But we didn't like this dish and so the chef conjured up schnitzel with cheese spaetzle for us.The food was good, no question, but since the selection is limited and doesn't always suit your taste, it's not great for the overall impression.As in some other reviews, the waiter has a certain manner that perhaps not everyone can get along with, but we got along well and he tried very hard to ensure that we were satisfied and that our stomachs were filled even if the daily menu wasn't right. His hands are certainly tied, but he satisfied us as best he could.However, if you travel with children you are throwing money out the window because the price of almost €30 per person is simply not suitable.The breakfast, on the other hand, was plentiful, from white sausage, scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes to muesli, etc. Everything you could want was there.It was always refilled as soon as sausage or scrambled eggs ran out.What we noticed was that you could tell who was on duty. On the first morning there was only fruit in a basket and on day two there was fruit cut up like kiwi, pineapple etc. which was great if you didn't have a whole kiwi for example. wants or creates.Let's come to the conclusion.We made the most of our stay, but we would not book this hotel again under the above-mentioned circumstances as we also learned that the owner has changed often and this usually doesn't always end well.Savings are usually made and this is mostly due to the staff, which we noticed or we noticed when talking to other guests in the lobby.When you turn on the TV you can see very briefly what it used to be called.I've attached a picture.

Dinner was good, breakfast was ok, dishes weren't clean, breakfast staff had no idea and no desire, booked and paid for a sauna with iced fruits, nobody knew anything about it... under no circumstances 4 stars... the toilet was also from the previous tenant with traces:( 😱😱

I stayed here at the Achat Hotel for 3 nights. The room was modern and very clean. The breakfast buffet was rich and tasty. I was also able to have breakfast outside in great weather.The staff was consistently friendly and helpful.From here you can set off on beautiful hikes. The Bavarian Forest is a highlight in Germany anyway.I'd love to come back!

Breakfast had a large selection, only the cheapest bread rolls, some of which were not baked through. That's not enough for a 4 star hotel! Otherwise, the selection was everything you could expect. The problem was the many wasps, which the hotel can't do anything about.Dinner in the restaurant was good. The waiter, however, was very special.Very nice sauna, but when you come out of the outside sauna you can be watched from the rooms.Ideal starting point for excursions and cycling tours.Our bikes could always be parked and loaded in the shed.

We were really looking forward to two relaxing days. Booked 2 days with half board. Unfortunately the room wasn't really clean and hair from the previous guest was still on the sink. The soap was empty, when asked they said "whether that still has to be done today"....actually yes, right? Soap came a day later and ran out. The balcony door couldn't be closed either, and this wasn't fixed until the next day, but only temporarily because, according to the specialist, it could no longer be repairedBreakfast was a fiasco. The rolls were not fully baked. At the request of my partner, who is a baker himself, to bake them better, the same unfinished rolls were returned. The rest of the buffet was well prepared, some spoons were missing to help yourself, only wasps everywhere, even in the sugar shaker. Eating is hardly possible due to the many wasps in the dining room. We were not offered a welcome drink and were not asked when we left whether everything was OK. Where the sauna can be found was also not mentioned. We never received a guest card that you were actually entitled to.All in all, the hotel would really be a pearl in a good location, but there is nothing really professional about it, it seems very amateurish and disorganized and we are not actually guests with high expectations, but the 2 days were really not worth the 250 euros.The dinner is to be praised, it was very good, the waiter was special in his own way, but funny.

Super beautiful hotel. Everything is very modern. I loved the blackout curtains and metallic rolls in our room, we slept very good.We came with my parents and we had two rooms next to each other and connected with a door, super comfortable.The only thing I would not recommend is the breakfast, since my parents paid for one day and were not happy because the options to eat were very limited.Very nice and polite staff.

Booked via Kurzurlaub.de.Welcome drink rather disappointing. The children didn't get any.Reception ok.The rooms are really nice. Every room has a fridge which is really great. Balcony, shower etc 👍Very nice wellness area. Wi-Fi in the room is virtually unusable as the connection is poor or no connection at all.Room with fan.Housekeeper and team very friendly.Eat:Breakfast buffet really goodDinner: Choice between two dishes was a bit poor. Unfortunately there wasn't really anything there, especially for children, so our littlest always had to eat fries in the evening. Unfortunately there is no salad at all. In our opinion, the Achat Hotel Waldkirchen is by no means a 4* hotel. There is a need for renovation, for example it has not been possible to lock the patio door in the basement for two years. Everyone can enter the room from outside without hindrance. There is no elevator. Breakfast buffet for €19 per person and then only baked rolls and a small selection of non-regional sausages/cheese. Room cleaning only upon request and for outrageously high overnight prices.Very disappointing.

So, my husband and I stayed here with our 2 children (17 & 11) from August 3rd to August 4th, 2024. We had actually booked a family comfort room, but we got 2 double rooms with a connecting door. The rooms are very nice and clean with a balcony, great shower ☺️ This is one of the positive things here. When we wanted to check in here in the evening they said we could only eat in the restaurant until 8:30 p.m., it was almost 8 p.m. The website said 10 p.m., so we couldn't freshen up or change after the arrival, which took 10 hours, but OK. Food in the restaurant was good, but (of course very expensive), it was around 100 euros for 4 meals with drinks....Unfortunately, the rooms do not have air conditioning and the fan in the room was unfortunately broken.The next morning we were all looking forward to breakfast, which was very well rated on the internet. We've been to many hotels, but we've never had such a bad breakfast 😔😑 Breakfast was served until 11 a.m., which was great for us because we didn't go to bed until late. So we were in the breakfast room at 9:30 a.m. I got 1 more boiled egg, the bread basket was almost empty and the ones in it were baked either too light or too dark. There were still 4 Mini Crossaints there and when they were gone, you had to ask, otherwise nothing would have been refilled. Nutella was empty, the juice dispensers were so empty that you couldn't draw anything anymore. The fruit salad already tasted slightly fermented and the vending machine cocoa only tasted like milk and water. When I had enough and asked a waitress about this sparse and poor breakfast, they said it was surprising (surprising?? In a hotel? ??) 2 buses full of people arrived that morning. She apologized, but what good is that to me? But I couldn't quite believe this because when someone carried the juice dispenser out of the kitchen, which was supposed to be filled there, the filling level was still very low. We checked out relatively quickly because we still had a few hours to drive home. Sorry, great rooms or not, unfortunately we won't be coming back.
