1 night for business, reserved at short notice by telephone.+ Clean modern rooms+ Attached restaurant very good, reasonable prices+ Price for the rooms themselves is very good-The very unfriendly person on the phone was only able to answer the simple question about a free room after about three minutes, after it took four calls to even get through- Reception (in the evening) very unfriendly- No water in the room- TV reception disrupted- Extremely warm at night despite the heating being switched off and airing in the evening, but opening the windows at night is rather difficult due to the central location- sparse breakfast- The question about a second coffee at breakfast was answered in the affirmative, but I never received it

The room furnishings are definitely a matter of taste. It looks very nice, but unfortunately everything is open, from the bed to the shower to the toilet, there is no door anywhere.The food in the restaurant was good, price/performance ratio was right. But the absolute best are the two serving daughters named Angie and Johanna. This is a league of its own. It's worth a visit just because of the two of them. Huge compliment and thank you again for your work. Unfortunately, you rarely find something like that these days.

I stayed at the Villa Boutique Hotel in Straubing for a day and was thrilled. The hotel impresses with its stylish furnishings and a cozy atmosphere. My room was modern, very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable - ideal for a restful night.The service was excellent: the staff was friendly and attentive, which made my stay particularly pleasant. Breakfast was also a highlight, with a great selection of fresh and regional products.The central but quiet location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Straubing. I can fully recommend the Villa Boutique Hotel and will definitely come back on my next visit to Straubing.5 out of 5 stars!This shorter review is concise and highlights the key positive aspects of the stay.

Please avoid this hotel!I’ll be short… reception lady when we’ve checked in on 10th of August was rude,;my Master Card used in whole Germany and Austria during our holiday was rejected; we were accommodated in the historic building and it was a nightmare: rooms dirty ( we had two, one for our daughter) , the sheets were in an uncertain color , under one pillow sheet ( very large comparing with pillow sizes) we found a night butterfly dead since some time, half day we did not had hot water due to a mistake of a employee . No specialized personnel to help/solve. They tried by video call with the breakfast personnel ( one nice girl) to solve the plumbing issue. Live from under the sink… Incredible! In the room was very hot (28-30 degrees) and it was fitted just with a very noisy fan ( could not slept with this on). The room was a total kitsch with a plastic- glass bathroom in the middle of the room fitted with an outdated whirlpool tube …. A decent shower ? Real challenge! I will hardly consider this room a 2 stars . Forgot to mention that the paid tariff was for minimum 5 stars superior due to booking during Gaubudenvolkfest ( excellent festival!!!) It was a very bad experience and hope we’ll help others … And I could continue…It was the worst and expensive accommodation for the ‘services’ provided, in years. If somebody will insist to book at Villa Boutique, at least to refuse the rooms in the historical building. I’ m wondering what are the German standards giving 4 stars to a 2 stars at best building/ hotel? Thank you all for reading!

I can't say anything about the hotel, I didn't stay in the villa. I was just in the restaurant with my colleagues. Well, this “Italian” is not a high flyer. How you can prepare spaghetti aglio e olio so bland is a mystery to me. You'll probably have to ask the boss. The service itself is ok. The restaurant was also busy on a Wednesday evening. Maybe the other menu items are good?

I actually wanted to reserve a table online for my birthday dinner and had two inquiries over the phone. The lady on the phone was really unfriendly. Furthermore, she casually talked to her colleagues instead of listening to me.

The breakfast was delicious, the rooms are well furnished, the staff was very nice. Well located and 5 minutes walk to the old town.Bathroom is modernly furnished.However, the television reception wasn't that good and you could hardly see out of the windows because there was a plate with holes in front of it.

I can only report about the restaurant. The food was very good, only the lemon butter in the ravioli was so intense that you couldn't taste any of the salmon in the ravioli. The service was subpar. Half an hour passed before we could order a second drink and another half hour passed when we wanted to pay. The waitresses didn't respond to calls and just walked past. When I went inside to pay, I told the waitress that the service wasn't great. But she wasn't interested in that and just told a colleague that she should collect money from me. This way you can also avoid criticism. Not like that. As the saying goes, “Pride comes before a fall.” It's a shame that guests are treated like this.
