Our stay at the Hotel Thannhof was perfect all around. We would particularly like to highlight the exceptional service: the hotel manager personally drove us to the train station and even picked us up late at night - that is really not a given and shows how much attention is paid to the well-being of the guests here.The rooms are very clean and cozy, and the entire team is incredibly friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable here and can warmly recommend the Hotel Thannhof. Thank you for the great stay – we would love to come back!

While the IT world came to a standstill in the wake of the Crowdstrike chaos and all flights were canceled, the Hotel Thannhof was our place of refuge. We felt safe and comfortable from the start. The breakfast buffet was lavish and the friendly staff continually added new items. Manager Marco looked after his guests like family.

So... yesterday and tomorrow (July 20th) I came from Bremen especially for a wedding celebration, which is located right next to the Hotel Thannhof. It was so perfect because I could just relax for a day after the party without any stress. The single room I had was absolutely fine and more than sufficient. Good size, enough space, totally pleasant with a clean shower, toilet, TV fan and what I particularly noticed was this very, very comfortable bed. And the fact that I was in contact with both owners right from the start, the nice couple are called Marko and Edyta. Above all, Marko simply took care of all the questions I had before, during and after the journey. He also asked himself whether everything was OK. He had rarely seen such a nice host, and that was high praise. I will definitely recommend this Hotel Thannhof and especially Marko to my friends.Many thanks again to Marko and Edyta, you were/are great, warm hosts.The next trip to the south will definitely be at the Hotel Thannhof again, thank you very much!!

Amazing hotel with great staff!!My boyfriend had an accident on the way to the hotel and had to be hospitalised. Marco, the manager, gave us with a room with easier access for his wheelchair and a softer bed, personally drove me several times up and down to the hospital, provide us with icepacks, additional cushions and supplies and anything else we might need. In general the hospitality and support from Marco and the team was something I'll never forget!! A million thanks again! <3

Some people's reviews may need to be reconsidered. Realistic expectations are far exceeded in terms of hospitality, breakfast and helpfulness. And if you set your expectations higher, you should probably go to a 5 star hotel in Munich instead of giving bad reviews. Think carefully beforehand about what you want, what you can pay and what you expect!

Unfortunately, the employee who works the morning shift is disrespectful and behaves very badly. The employee told me today that she would prevent me from entering the breakfast room after 8:00 am and it was not well cleaned and prepared. Unfortunately we are not allowed to award a star.

It's a budget hotel. This is what the rooms look like. Everything is getting pretty old. At the time of my trip there was no breakfast. A pity.

Perfect hotel for people with dogs on transit through Germany. Next to the highway, but far enough not to hear it. Clean, big rooms. Very friendly people running the place. Close by is a mountainbiketrail through a forrest, great for walking a dog. Breakfast buffet is medium, you would rather go to the Eni shop, they had an excellent assortment of pastries. But when you are in a hurry the breakfast buffet fulfills its purpose.

After a totally unsuccessful vacation in Croatia, which we had to cancel and drive for hours, we arrived at Thannhof completely exhausted (as not one Autohof hotel had rooms available), with the hope that a room for 4 people would be available. The owner immediately recognized that we were completely exhausted, gave us a room and welcomed us to the hotel bar.Our children were provided with sweets and had fun.So there was something good about this failed vacation, thanks to the fact that we were welcomed so nicely. We were very grateful and had nice conversations at the hotel bar. The room was great, nice, clean beds, clean bathroom, everything was there. A nice little balcony. Even though we were only there for one night, it was a nice experience and a great stay.Always happy!!!
