Green Deer Bavarian Hotel

Excellent hotel.

Fits, ideal for transit.

No words. We stopped at the hotel on our way to our destination. We planned to spend one night there, we rented two rooms. We checked in on site (without any staff involved). Rooms nicely decorated. In our room, there was no sheet on one bed. It was very cold in the children's room - even though we turned off the air conditioning, it still worked. The temperature in the room was so low that it was difficult to stay there and sleeping was impossible. There is no service at the reception, we were unable to contact the telephone number left at the reception. We took the blankets from the car. On the way down, we met 2 families who had trouble checking in. We walked around the hotel and knocked on the doors to find someone from the staff. After about 2 hours, a lady appeared and started checking in guests. We waited calmly in line. When it was our turn, I was told to wait. I indicated that I had been waiting for about 2 hours.And what happened next has never happened to me before. The lady started calling us names in German, shouting, using obscene words and insulting us. Then my husband joined the conversation and said he expected his cash back. The lady serving said that we could then leave the hotel. Despite being tired, we were with children (fortunately they were a bit older) and we decided that despite the later time (2 a.m.) we didn't want to sleep in such a place. Instead of professionally resolving the complaint and apologizing for the situation (changing the room or repairing the air conditioning), the lady insulted us, shouted and clearly couldn't cope with her own emotions.When we wanted to leave a review on booking, it turned out that it was impossible because the owner, when we left the hotel, indicated in the system that we had not arrived (it excluded the possibility of reviewing). Which is not true, we have confirmation of this because we checked in on site. We spent a few hours in the hotel.We reported the whole matter at booking, it turned out that we had to wait up to 30 days for the refund (this is the waiting time for a refund directly from the hotel), and it is not possible to leave a review on booking because we systematically did not show up at the hotel. The hotel itself (well-kept and clean), but practically no on-site service. There wasn't a single person there, which I don't think should have happened. The staff, who arrived after many calls from our and other guests, showed a lack of any standards with their attitude. I definitely warn against this place. Unfortunately, traumatic memories will remain.

Everything you can say about the hotel... Top...Air conditioning in the room... WiFi... Top location... Very quiet...Good breakfast... Been here several times now...

Very friendly welcome and very clean, gladly again

Last minute stay was perfect. Cheaper direct booking instead of general booking website. €5 breakfast was great! €49 for single room and charged my Tesla overnight across the parking lot! No one after 20:00 at front desk, but check in was easy with computer on the wall.

First of all, I would like to give five stars to this incredibly nice chef who prepared our lunch at the hotel today. So much fun cooking (everything tasted very good, great vegan options for people who don't want meat "You know, I don't come from the hospital kitchen, everything is seasoned right for me) and such joy in offering your own food (“Don’t forget the blueberries with the pancakes to break up the sweetness a bit”) was really a highlight! We would love to take the chef with us, but unfortunately we don't have a restaurant ourselves 😅 We hope the chef gets a great salary, you have to keep someone like that!About the hotel: everything was fine, rooms were pleasantly clean, of course you can hear the highway a bit. What was a shame: there is no travel cot for children, something that a business hotel should have in this day and age. It's not a huge expense, so feel free to go ahead and buy one 😉
