Well suited for an overnight stay.Will be chosen again and again because of the easy arrival.The reception is further back which can lead to problems. We with two mobile homes and a trailer had to get off the narrow road first.But that stop sign with the hyena behind it is history 😁Now there is a very nice young man who welcomes you very friendly.Toilet paper is also available. (If you're fast enough)We will continue to drive to the place.Although we find it too expensive.

Overpriced dirt place in a prime locationAs the title suggests, the location is the only positive thing here.The family shower had no hot water (despite 3 detergents), which made it impossible for our 2-year-old daughter to shower. In addition, everything was filthy and dirty. After we mentioned this at reception, we received the 3 shower stamps back but also the unsatisfactory answer that we had never heard this complaint before. And when we asked whether there was cleaning here that day, we only got a "I don't know... I'll have to ask the boss" - the same answer we got when asked whether there had been any cleaning at all.Well next time we will definitely choose another place!

Fully sufficient as a transit place. If the weather is good, it will definitely be quite attractive. Unfortunately, we had just caught a period of rain and it was not possible to get to the WW with dry feet. Of course the operator can't do anything about it. The attached restaurant offers simple but good cuisine. The Kaiserschmarn, for example, is very tasty. Everything is within reasonable price.

Perfect for transit, the price is also right, sanitary facilities have hot showers, which is very pleasant after a long journey. The lake has crystal clear water and you can swim in it. There is also a delicious restaurant where we had dinner and in the morning we were able to take rolls with us for the journey, great!The highway is audible, but it's hardly a problem because there's a wall/sound barrier.

For one night in transit, this campsite is fine except for the restaurant! Unfriendly service and doesn't taste good! 5 km further there is a great Bavarian country inn (Neukirchen)! Super friendly service and delicious Bavarian cuisine! Highly recommended!

Nice, well-located campsite close to the motorway, which makes getting there very easy. We particularly liked that you could rent SUPs on site - perfect for a relaxing time on the lake. Overall a very pleasant stay.

We arrived at the transit campsite without any expectations and were pleasantly surprised.The town is really beautiful and the lake makes you feel like you're on vacation. The inn right on the water gave us a great evening and, above all, a full stomach!The campsite service staff welcomed us warmly and denied us any of our wishes. All in one a great transit place! It's a shame we couldn't stay longer.

Very friendly staff, small extras were no problem.Also a very quaint restaurant with great food and friendly staff within a 2-minute walk.☺️The lake is a very underrated recreational area perfect for a weekend destination just 1 hour from Munich or as a stopover when you are in transit.

Stopped at the campsite for one night on the way to Croatia. Prices are absolutely fair and the staff was also helpful and friendly.The beautiful lake is also a great bonus, highly recommended for an overnight stay.

Good Morning,I was at Sooshammer See this summer…it was breathtaking.Starting with the fabulous nature through to the first class service.Everything was great, I can only recommend everyone to take a short detour there. IT'S WORTH IT!!!

Otherwise always been here on the way to Croatia. Now a new tenant. The coupling must now be uncoupled in the main parking area. So you get twice as much WW on it. Nothing was done in the plumbing. Almost a bit disgusting in my opinion.And showers cost extra.You are aware of the proximity to the AB and I always have Oropax with me, so I don't judge that. The restaurant wasn't our thing, the food was so-so and the service was too.The journey to the site is partly an adventure through narrow villages.On the way back we stopped at Mariengrund on the A8. At least you can reserve in advance, new plumbing and everything is included. Also close to the AB, but that was intentional. 2km further there is a gas station with a fuel dispenser.We already know where we will reserve next year.😊

We were on the pitch in front of the campsite, which is probably part of it. If we hadn't been so tired, we would have left immediately. Too expensive (€32 for a motorhome and 2 people), without electricity, which would have cost extra. Toilets and showers dirty, moldy, smelly. Clumps of hair and loads of dead insects in the corners of the rooms, it hasn't been cleaned in ages. Shower cold, warm water costs extra. We didn't use it. The restaurant, which is probably also part of it, had the kitchen cold at 7.30 p.m., even though it was open until 9 p.m., there was simply nothing left... bad luck. Pitch partly meadow, partly gravel with deep potholes. This should be filled up. The new owner doesn't do anything like that. It used to be good there, but not for us anymore. We won't be coming back. One star just for the location, nothing else!!

OK for one night. Shower clean water hot electricity for camper.Trailer is docked. You can hear the highway. 2 people for €40 I think is a lot for the service. There are other places that are better and cost half as much

Yes it is a transit place, but then I seriously ask myself why children and dogs have to pay? We were charged €64 for a 12 hour stay, the showers cost extra and the sanitary facilities are moldy. I understand a flat rate, but children there have to pay for exactly what? No playground, no play area and no good access to the lake. Walking dogs is not possible because trucks are constantly racing through on the small street. If the prices are adjusted accordingly, ok, but that was just cheeky!The restaurant, on the other hand, has great service and a small, fresh menu. Food was great.

Actually a very nicely located campsite on the lake, except for the A8 which rushes past the site in the immediate vicinity.With the roof tent it's absolutely horrible and you can't sleep. Even in the car you could hear the cars and trucks rushing past.Unfortunately, showers and toilets are not particularly clean.The restaurant next to the lake is very idyllic. This is where the background noise goes. We wanted to have something quick to eat here at 7:50 p.m. because the restaurant is open until 9 p.m. Unfortunately without success. The staff probably had to take the S-Bahn home and left early. All in all, we will look for another place on our next trip.
