Had a lovely night at Sandino Sanctuary. It's a lovely, cosy place. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The vibe is so chill and welcoming and I loved how green the place and garden are. Lovely free movie theater as well. Located a bit out of the way but easily reachable by tram and metro connection. Good space to recharge.

We camped for 2 nights and we enjoyed every moment. The location is unique! It's a combination of rustic and vintage at the same time.🙂 The people are very friendly, sociable and the services offered are excellent. I would love to come back anytime!

I struggle to put into words how amazing this place is. beautiful buildings, comfy beds, great tunes, communal firepit at night. Where else are you going to get a live camera feed of the chicken coop on the kitchen TV?Most hostels are just a place to sleep, this is a lovely little community.My only issue is that I can't stay longer. I'll be back!

Best hostel I've ever been to. Amazing big kitchen which kinda feels like you're outside, nice living area, cinema room! The private rooms were lovely, it's pretty chill and the communal area is away from the rooms so you can't hear people talking at night. There are also cute chickens which walk around and delicious eggs upon request :) the people who run it are lovely and I hope I can come back someday. It's a little far away from the centre but it's super close to the tram stop and only 20 mins to get to the cool areas, and it's location is what allows its size and nature I guess so can't complain

A wonderful place. People there are sociable, the atmosphere is friendly, it feels more like a college dorm than a hotel. It's 2 minutes away from a tram stop, so transport is not an issue.I'd rather stay in Sandino than a 5-star apartment any time of day or night!

What an amazing hostel! 100% the best I’ve ever stayed in.I stayed in the 12 bed, mixed dorm, it was awesome, very spacious, lots of airflow with lots of windows and an open door. The beds were comfortable, and it was always quiet in the room so I got a great sleep every night.The rest of the hostel is amazing too, the courtyard is great, there’s many different places to sit and relax, so there a can be lots of small groups but also plenty of space for big groups and socialising.They have a silent cinema! Which plays different films every night (and takes requests). You wear headphones and sit on comfy sofas, it’s an awesome idea and quite a few people (5-10h watched the films the nights we did.They also have a fire every night.The kitchen is a kind of cabin/ building in the courtyard and is essentially outside, so it’s a really lovely place to cook and eat, it has sofas and numerous tables.The toilets (women’s) were fine, 2 sinks, 2 toilets and 2 showers overall. The shows only had curtains and you had to hold the shower head. Sometimes the bathroom was a bit busy but that was fine.The service was awesome, the 2 people who run the hostel are very friendly and are always around if you need anything, but it doesn’t at all feel like they’re watching you or like you can’t quite relax properly like at some other hostels. It’s still a very chill atmosphere.The location is good, it’s out of the city centre, but is close to a tram that takes you in quickly (and run all through the night), we cycled mainly, the cycle to the city centre was easy with cycle paths the full way. You can hire bikes (we used next bikes)from near the hostel. It is close to a few large supermarkets.My only complaint, was that even though they had a dishwasher the plates, bowls etc were often dirty. I re-washed everything before using it, this wasn’t a problem.Overall an absolutely amazing hostel. I definitely recommend to stay if you are in Berlin it completely made our time there!

Overall, great hostel!Positives:- staff are kind and helpful- It has good facilities: kitchen worked well, bathroom and bedrooms were nice- the glass doors to the kitchen and seating area open out into the courtyard which is perfect in hot weather, it’s a nice to sit in and to chat to people, many travellers where social- there is a cinema room where they play a film and have a fire every night which makes it a perfect place to chill in after a busy day, it is also great for coming back late as there is a way in all night- transport to the city centre is good, there is a tram stop close and bikes are available on near by streetsNegatives:- the social area can be busy and loud- the kitchen equipment isn’t always fully clean (I rinsed before use)- shower area is limited for hookOverall, would recommend.

Beautiful relaxed atmosphere, with great people always to get to know

Great hostel, quick passage for our part, we really appreciated the atmosphere and the calm. The staff were very pleasant and the caravan was super spacious. The location is ideal with the tram which reaches the center easily and the area is very quiet. The showers and toilets are quite basic, but suitable for a few days.

An oasis in the middle of Berlin. A place to relax and be alone but not lonely!A little paradise!!!We will be back!!!!
