We booked a room for two adults and two children online at short notice via an external platform. We were contacted by phone and informed that the restaurant and therefore the reception were closed and that we could therefore get the room key via the outside safe. That worked easily.Regarding the hotel and the rooms themselves, it should be said that they are several wooden houses. Ours was very spacious and obviously designed for several people; there were a total of 6 beds or sleeping places. Tables, chairs and a sofa were available. There were two televisions. The bathroom had a shower and toilet. The setup can be described as very simple and practical. The cleaning condition of the room was very poor. The floor had been swept at best. In several places and especially in the corners and under the beds, it appears that it has not been cleaned for a long time. There were several dead flies lying around and numerous dead mosquitoes on the walls.Another drawback is the soundproofness of the houses. When peace returns to your own house or room, you can clearly hear noises from the other half of the house, for example moving chairs, music or conversations. That was acceptable for one night, but it speaks against a longer stay. Especially given that the hotel is used as accommodation by numerous workers/fitters. Until late in the evening, conversations and noises could be heard outside from workers who were apparently loading their vans or preparing them for the next day. In the morning, the departure activity could be clearly heard early on.We booked breakfast separately. The offer was completely fine, there is nothing to complain about. A usual breakfast buffet, which can probably be described as up to standard. The price-performance ratio was also okay. The contact with the staff extended to the call regarding the room key in the safe, the breakfast, where we were assigned a table and a pot of coffee was placed on the table, and the check-out. I would describe the experience as neutral to friendly. Points will be deducted for the service due to the poor cleaning condition of the room. As you can see from other reviews, this doesn't seem to be an exception.

Stayed here for one night in the already unusual concept of a hotel and overall was very satisfied. The huts are simply amazing. The room was very clean, everything worked perfectly. The only drawback was the somewhat worn furniture. These looked consistently better on my companions. The breakfast buffet is lavish, rich and delicious, great! The staff were also consistently friendly, helpful and willing to joke.I would particularly like to emphasize the restaurant's excellent cuisine. The taste is really great, huge portions and at very fair prices.

Very disappointing service/dealing.We had a big event at the Spreewaldring and chose this hotel for around 40 people. Rooms are ok. Enough to stay overnight. However, the boss doesn't seem to be dependent on money. The treatment of customers is terribly bad. Rough tone, pushes the customer into his meal times. Extremely unpleasant to my customers. For breakfast, my customers were forced into the times and shortly before the time was up they were urged to eat a little faster because the table had to be freed up again. On the Saturday evening after the event, additional food was ordered for people who didn't make it to 8 p.m. The restaurant is only open until 9 p.m. Although my customers were offered to eat their food after 9 p.m., the plates were then wiped, no offers of something to drink and, as a highlight, the lights were simply turned off in the entire restaurant so that the visitor was completely in the dark with his meal sat. During the normal meal, no attention was paid to drinks whether you wanted something else, 10 minutes before 9 p.m. it was only possible to get a coke with a lot of noise. I apologized to all of my clients that I accommodated there. There seems to be absolutely no value in service/friendliness or perhaps additional income there. Even tips were unfriendly. We will under no circumstances make you book again or recommend you to others.

I can only speak for the restaurant, that much in advance. We ate there in a larger group, but I have never experienced such unfriendly behavior. Any examples? Gladly: My wife orders a schnitzel and asks if she could please have fried potatoes instead of fries. Answer: I have to look, if yes then yes, if no then no. A friend asks if he could have a scoop of ice cream for dessert, I don't have it, just an ice cream menu. A friend orders an ice cream from the ice cream menu, the waiter confirms the order with a roll of his eyes. The ice cream that arrived was a scoop of ice cream on some cream garnished with 3 Smarties... the whole evening felt like a hidden camera, how long can guests endure such treatment?

Very nice staff ♡It's not a conventional hotel. The rooms are in log cabins spread across the property. Simply furnished but very clean...The outdoor areas are well maintained and planted with shrubs, bushes and grass, so you can sit in front of your hut in the evening when the weather is good and look at the garden. The breakfast was very good: bread, rolls, sweet baked goods, egg dishes, cold cuts, cheese, fresh fruit, yoghurt… something for everyone...We'd love to come back

The bungalows are very nicely laid out and the rooms were also clean. But the pillows are a disaster, maybe get a little more stuffed ones, the cleaning staff couldn't understand us. Everything in the restaurant was clean and tidy. Everything was available for breakfast, but dinner was better (it wasn't our first time there). Soyanka is not recommended because it was cooked by Ukrainians? It should have tasted good and it didn't look very good either. Food for Spreewald is simply not good. We always enjoyed our meal there. Too bad

Unfortunately it was a complete disappointment. The wooden houses look nice, but they are very noisy when there is someone next door.I wouldn't call this a hotel.Construction workers and craftsmen who were drinking there until the night drove us away.Too bad! It's also too expensive for that.
