It's a great concept. Pure nature . Unfortunately, this area seemed very overgrown and the refrigerators in the common room are very small, fish don't fit in them, etc. Luckily we had cooler bags and food with us. The catering industry no longer exists and is completely closed. And there aren't 25 ponds for fishing either.

So first of all, the concept for the Slube was a really great idea. Unfortunately, at least at this location, it is no longer as described on the Internet. About the slub itself: with the key code everything worked great, sleeping and living in a small space at the same time was something different. But unfortunately the slubs were not cleaned properly. There were still traces of toothbrush in the bathroom sink, toilet paper was bad, the shower drain was full of grass, and there were stains and hairs on the bed sheets (not ours). The area: yes, what can you say, in any case nothing has happened to this location for a long time. The area around it was overgrown, there was a grill that looked better and if you use this location because you want to fish, as they say "slube 25 fishing ponds", there are no real options to cool the fish you caught, let alone freeze it. Luckily we had an electronic cool box with us. The restaurant on site no longer exists either. The only person who comes in the morning opens up the fishing ponds. Everything you can find online about this location, such as a small restaurant, fish filleting courses and so-called breakfast boxes, is not available. The location: it's in the middle of nowhere, which is good for some peace and quiet, but when the locals come fishing in the morning, the peace and quiet is gone. The fishing ponds: a great thing in themselves, but out of 25 ponds only 5 are fishable, the price per kg of fish and the opening times are not correct either, in the summer months it is 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. There is only someone there until 4 p.m. Our conclusion: A nice concept, but with a little more care and maintenance of the area, great thing.

We stayed in one of the slubs over the weekend and wanted to use the fishing ponds at the same time.First of all: At the time when I became aware of this cool accommodation offer, there was still an intact homepage for 25 Teiche. Attention was drawn to current prices, a snack bar with fish sandwiches and several ponds with several types of fish. When I asked on social networks why the homepage was suddenly down, I didn't get a direct answer, just a new phone number. After a few more weeks, I received a written response from the operator of the slubs on Instagram, informing me that there had been a change of tenant. At least you got a few helpful tips and offered further help.In general it can be said: Both providers need to be more responsive to each other. For Slube guests who want to fish, there is only a larger pond for fishing after 4 p.m. But this is also stocked with very few fish.Unfortunately, the range of fish on offer is modest, so it doesn't live up to the name 25 ponds. There were actually 8 ponds available, but only 5 ponds were filled with a few fish each. The tenant cited delivery bottlenecks as the reason. The operators of the slubs assured us that it is also possible to fish for golden trout. There weren't any of these, nor were there any brown trout...We think that there is so much potential in the system, but it is not being used! Over half of the ponds are empty and dilapidated and those that remain have few fish. The snack bar no longer exists either, which is now supposed to serve as an apartment...Then comes the next problem: there are zero options for overnight guests when it comes to food. The flyer in Slube refers to the supermarket and the bakery in the next town. However, how to eat on a Sunday is a bigger problem as the area is pretty much dead. Stocking up on food isn't possible either, as there are no refrigerators in the Slube at this location. Only 2 minibars in the communal lounge. Our neighbors left early because they didn't see any options to store their fish over the weekend. There is currently a wasp's nest on the terrace of the community lounge, which is a source of disturbance and danger if you want to sit up there and eat.About the slube itself: Nice idea, but I have to agree with the previous speakers: a little more dusting and bathroom care would do the slube some good. Also, half a meter more in diameter wouldn't result in you having to pull down a lamp or something similar with your elbow or having to send your partner out so you can get to the bathroom. The upper floor with bed and TV was very well thought out and we also liked the lighting control via app. Conclusion: Many points simply don't add up... It may be enough for a day fishing trip, but if you're an angler who primarily wants to spend several days there, you probably won't get your money's worth.

Yes, there was some camping feeling. I liked it. Lots of nature, fishing ponds in front of the door, birdsong in the morning. I slept very well and felt very comfortable. Kettle including two portions of coffee and tea. 👍🏻

As a cyclist, the slube 25 Teiche was extremely functional, hospitable and technically sophisticated for me. Anyone who has been there once will come back. Thanks.

Slube with baby - anything is possible! We had a unique and wonderful stay in a slub at the 25 ponds in Rottstock.Overnight stay with sunrise and a view of the fishing lake, big fish, relaxed people... simply pure nature! We stayed in a slub for one night with our little offspring. Certainly a small adventure in terms of space, but definitely doable! Our slube was equipped with a large bed upstairs (ladder access), a nice seating area and a bathroom. The Slube was also equipped with ceiling, wall and underfloor heating, so that our little one was always comfortable. There were also dishes, a toaster and a kettle and a television by the bed.In a communal slub there are small refrigerators available for our breakfast or the fish we caught.Access to the Slube is through a separate gate next to the fishing ponds.Check-in from 3 p.m. and departure by 10 a.m.WiFi is available free of charge.Together with the owners of the fishing facility it was a really nice and relaxing stay! We'd love to come back
