Overall, the hotel made a very good impression on me. The breakfast wasn't bad but the selection was rather simple, but that's complaining on a high level. The beds are okay, a bit remote but very suitable for solo travelers or short trips. Had a clean balcony and a nice bathroom. Only the drain pipe smelled a bit all the way to the door, so one star less for service. Location only 3 stars because you have to drive some really bad roads to the hotel,... BUT...quiet location!I can recommend the hotel overall! Thank you very much =)

Extremely beautiful location, right on the nature reserve and near the Berlin Wall Trail.Very pleasant, clean rooms with comfortable beds and a balcony.Delicious extensive breakfast and super friendly hostess.

We (my husband and I) spent a wonderful weekend at the Hotel Normandie, had a great room with a balcony, great price/performance ratio, spontaneously without having booked we were able to have breakfast where we didn't miss anything, a really great hostess is happy to come Thank you again, greetings Jörg and Petra

The hotel is romantically decorated with lots of Viking antiques - rustic/chic. There is a dedicated parking space. The breakfast offers everything you need for a good start. The owner Isa is super nice, accommodating and helpful when it comes to discovery tours in Schildow and the surrounding area and Berlin.

Small, fine hotel in the middle of nowhere. Sufficient and quiet for sleeping. Breakfast can be ordered in advance and at reasonable prices. Otherwise there is a lot to say. You can get to Berlin quickly if you travel by car.

If I hadn't seen the pictures of the other people, I would think we were in a different hotel. There is no staff here. You pick up the room key from a box in front of the entrance door. The restaurant is probably closed permanently. Room is super small. My computer monitor is bigger than the TV. Bed, closet and mini desk. That was it. The bathroom corresponds to the pictures. Old worn towels. The property and house are unkempt. One night and no more

I looked at the other reviews and I'm seriously wondering what people are writing about?There is no staff. You get your key from a key box at the front entrance. Almost ALL criteria for a 3 star hotel are NOT met here.A pity. We've probably booked it several times because our destination is very close, but I'd rather drive another 50 km before I do something like that again.P.s. to avoid errors.The restaurant has permanently closed.

Avoid this hotel!
Booking.com advertises rooms that include two double beds. There are no such rooms here.
At the Booking prices, if you don't book through Booking, you will be penalized by having to pay a 30% surcharge.
You will then receive professional advice with a few handwritten notes and made the claim that Booking would charge even more for the room.
The owner even denied BOOKING's direct online price view of her OWN hotel. I have to contact booking. They would sort it out.

Ha ha ha, a cheese platter made from leftovers and four slices of bread for 4 people. Wow!During a 2-day stay we were given three different prices for the room in writing. In the end we were charged €150 per night for a three-bed room, which wasn't worth it at all.AVOID!
