Absolutely not recommended. The lift is broken and the information sign is attached in a crumpled transparent cover.Room door cannot be closed properly (always a crack open) Bathroom cabinet broken (only one mirror left.) 4! No cleaning or towels changed for days.Inhumane smell in the bathroom and room.I borrowed a blanket and towels from friends in Berlin. Then immediately throw it in the trash!

If you're expecting high standards, you're completely wrong here. For us who were only there to sleep and “freshen up” it was enough. I can't write for all the rooms. Our room was very clean, you can see that there's a lot of traffic in the furniture (chairs, beds), the bathroom door was totally warped and could only be opened and closed loudly and inevitably it was rough Sleeper awakened. Personally, I felt the bathroom was in need of renovation - but everything worked! No fridge in the room, no hairdryer - that didn't bother us. What we found very annoying was the broken elevator, thank God we're good on foot and climbing stairs wasn't a problem. The entrance and exit to the parking garage is extremely narrow, I can well imagine that many people have damaged their cars there. Parking costs 9 euros per day and you pay directly at the hotel. We didn't need the car once for excursions, as you can easily get to Alexander Platz or the TV tower with the bus 200 or M29 in the immediate vicinity and the hop on hop off buses are there too.I deliberately only rate the service with 1 star, not because it was bad, but because we simply didn't need any and so I can't say how I felt about it. We also didn't eat or drink anything in the hotel - we looked after ourselves.

Location is good. Staff was polite. Flair of an old hostel. It stank in the hallway and in the room. Room didn't have a door to the bathroom. Basically, the bathroom and bedroom were one room... In another hotel that would have been fancy. Here it's just small and shabby. I'm not coming back here.

Conclusion in advance: Terrible!!! I've known this hotel for at least 15 years and I've been there a few times a while ago. At that time it was a well-located, inexpensive hotel with simply furnished, clean rooms. Nothing has been renewed there for what feels like 10 years. The rooms are old and dirty (see photos) in a way that shows that they don't want to make things better...! The bed was uncomfortable, the pillows old and lumpy. The bathroom was bad, the bathroom cabinet was disgustingly dirty (here, too, I refer you to the pictures). The rooms are extremely noisy, the windows do NOT keep out the street noise - this is a HUGE problem with the adjacent main street and light sleepers. The staff are not very friendly, and the broken elevator doesn't make it any easier to reach the upper floors with heavy luggage. It's a shame how a hotel in such a good location can be so run down. We won't be coming back and we'll give you the advice: KEEP YOUR FINGER AWAY!

I hadn't read the rest of the Google reviews before booking. Until shortly before check-in.First of all, I would like to thank everyone who shared their experiences here. Thanks to you I was at least able to prepare myself for something. Because when booking, the hotel really didn't look that bad.Well, the first reviews were confirmed during check-in.Incredibly communicative and warm welcome 😉The rooms themselves weren't bad. Sleeping here for one night is definitely doable if you don't have high expectations and already have athlete's foot.An entertainment program at its best catches the eye here. I think my old iPod Movie had a larger display. You have to say, we weren't there eitherTV here. And if you really get bored in this hotel, the neighbors offer a very entertaining program 🫱🏼‍🫲🏾So just let yourself be surprised and enjoy your stay 🫶🏼We had fun and we're doing well

So bad... you have to experience it! :)When we entered our room, we were greeted with a warm welcome - in the form of a stray gummy bear making itself comfortable on the dirty carpeted floor. The room lighting was… well, creative. The five-socket ceiling lamp had an almost avant-garde atmosphere, as two of the light bulbs were simply missing and the remaining lamps in the room appeared to be on vacation - they weren't even plugged in. Maybe a subtle reference to energy efficiency? This could at least be found on a sticker in the bathroom (“Please do not have towels washed every day”…. Of course this also saves manpower ;))The bathroom also surprised us with a particularly intense smell - freshly painted, but somehow strange. I suspect that the brush played a more important role here than one would initially assume. Instead of removing the mold, they probably decided on the easier method: paint over it and hope that no one looks closely. Practical! The hotel was also particularly open when it came to noise protection – literally. Thanks to the non-soundproof windows, we were able to enjoy the hustle and bustle of the city at full volume. Be it street noise, happy night owls or the occasional horn honking, you really never felt alone.A particular highlight was the lack of smoke detectors. Nothing says “safety first” like deliberately leaving out life-saving technology. An adventure in itself if you're planning a romantic evening by candlelight - as long as you don't look at the carpet too often. The reception was also an experience in itself. We were greeted there with a charismatic mix of disinterest and displeasure. A friendly “Hello” was probably asking too much, but at least we now know that you can check in without any conversation. After all, communication is overrated. All in all, a stay that you won't soon forget - even if for the wrong reasons. If you appreciate adventure and surprises in your hotel room, this is the place for you!

Stayed in room 401 - 4th floor while my mate stayed in a room nearby. importantly to the left when out the elevator area.My room was okay, bed was comfortable, shower had decent pressure, a fan to keep you cool. what more can you ask for in a cheap hotel.Only negatives were that the socket on one side of the bed was detached from the wall and the toilet was impossible to use and not paint and the shower was small. My mates room was worse, the toilet had a ‘platform’ in which to inspect your work, which mine didn’t. A spring was poking out of his mattress, the bathroom was dirty. No fan. TV did not work and towels were stained. It’s important to note that since we went left out the lift and not right, we weren’t near the strip club and we didn’t hear the musicWhen we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist was having lunch at a table, she told us to wait 5 minutes in which she ate her lunch near us before serving.Overall, not great but if you need a place in a pinch and needs to be cheap then yes, but it shouldn’t be your first choice. It’s a gamble on which room you get!remember to ask for rooms on the left side once you get past the elevator area to avoid the night club music/ noises.

Bad beds, the room was a bit clean so that was good. Only one socket in the ceiling so difficult to charge one's mobile. Cannot be recommended. Deadly elevator it shakes and the floor moves.Didn't feel quite safe there. But at least a good location
