"This hotel is beautiful, very clean and with a very friendly and personable staff. I love it! It is very close to Alexanderplatz, just a few stops away.The M6 train is only about five meters away, which is very convenient, and there are plenty of shopping opportunities nearby. There is also a gym for those who would like to exercise. The breakfast is varied and delicious, with plenty of options to suit all tastes - for the price you really can't complain. This is my second stay here, today October 25, 2024, and I am happy to wake up in the morning and enjoy a delicious breakfast. Don't think twice and book your stay! Super centrally located."This hotel is precious, very clean and with a very friendly and simple personal touch. ¡Me encanta! It is very special in Alexanderplatz, a solo part of the staciones. A station on the M 6 train is on one of the metros, lo cual es súper conveniente, hay manyas options for ir de compras., cuenta with a gimnasio para quienes quierne el desayuno es variado y delicioso, with manyas options for all gustos, realmente no hay quejas Today, October 25th, 2024, I feel happy with the desperation and delight.

The cleanliness is very problematic - the low point last year was our room where it was obvious that the cleaning had not been completed. During checkout, a guest next to us complained about his dirty room - which really didn't sound appetizing - in the end it resulted in him being aggressively reprimanded by the receptionist as to why he hadn't pointed this out the day before. Ultimately, this conversation ended with the receptionist threatening security, even though the guest was a little louder, but definitely not in a way that would have justified the threat of security in any way. The same receptionist had also threatened us with the evaluation of camera recordings with regard to the alleged use of breakfast for my child. The same receptionist booked us the use of the garage twice and only "found" the error after repeated inquiries... We have never experienced such a receptionist...There was a lot of dirt on our floor hallway again, especially in front of the elevator, the whole time we were there. The effect on the guest is catastrophic - you stand in front of the elevator more often and for longer periods of time, so you are constantly confronted with the dirt. Extremely dustproof on the elevator door - the same applies here: you can see this for a long time when you stand in front of the only elevator in the tower.No more lounge --> this has still been able to compensate for the negative points in recent years --> the fact that the first receptionist didn't understand our question about the lounge, as he apparently didn't know the lounge, was a bit irritating for us When his colleague who was called in told us that it had been closed since Corona, he then overshadowed that - we were last in the lounge at the end of 2023, when Corona had already been through for a while. I can only assume that people like to explain things with Corona...or. should explain. But to be honest, we had the feeling that we were being lied to. The lounge was probably no longer considered economically viable.- Breakfast: for the first time since our stay, only part of the breakfast room and buffet was open, despite a very high number of guests. With a breakfast price of almost 30 euros, the ratio is completely missing. The buffet is as full as WSV at Woolworths. Because only one area was open, there was a lively station atmosphere throughout the entire area - in a negative sense. We didn't even order an ice cream dish after we noticed how long the neighboring tables had to wait. The same applied to ordering coffee. Like many other guests, we decided to join the queue at the ONE machine, which was still quicker and safer than ordering coffee from the service. The coffee wasn't worth the wait - very bitter and can only be enjoyed with a lot of milk, you could expect more for the price of the breakfast. It shouldn't be the fault of the fully automatic machines - the quality is okay, so it's reasonable to assume that it's due to the poor quality of the raw material (coffee).- Room cards --> crazy, we had a total of 4 cards and in the end only ONE card worked. It became apparent right away at check-in that we weren't the only ones with this problem. Here, an annoyed guest came to reception for the second time shortly after checking in because the card didn't work on the second attempt.The Skykitchen, which has been worth a trip to us for many years, was the main reason why we stayed at Andels so far. The lounge has supported this somewhat in recent years. Our stay last week will have been our last. We remain loyal to the great skykitchen - we will stay somewhere else in the future - it will be cheaper and better.

Good location, but that was it.Employees, not exactly rude, but disinterested.Breakfast was OK. Room was clean, but upon closer inspection some things weren't in the best condition.You can do it, but you don't have to in my opinion.

Sadly our stay was hugely effected by a very rude staff member on reception. As two female traveler's in a foreign country we choose to stay in hotels for safety and security and the lady on reception made us feel very uncomfortable. …

Check-in took extremely long, we stood in line in the lobby for almost 30 minutes. I have never experienced this at any other hotel. The room is OK, but not great. What was annoying was that the television turned on by itself several times at night. The location to the velodrome is positive.

Unfortunately, when we arrived there were only two people checking in, so we couldn't handle the sheer volume of arrivals.Spacious room, the cleanliness needs to be worked on, dirty and stained carpet, bathroom floor not wiped and sink and toilet not cleaned. Remains of the predecessor visible. Overall, the room had the impression of being from the 90s and was shabby and dirty in many places.The bottle of water in the room was good and the breakfast buffet was of very good quality, good selection, delicious coffee and nice staff.

The sink in the room was leaking down, but even though you told us, the problem was not solved in 3 days. They need to be seen every day in a normally cleaned room. The reception was rude.

We had booked a deluxe double room for a long weekend (4 nights). The air conditioning didn't work and the curtains couldn't darken the room properly. The nice large bathroom was borderline: the fittings were worn out, partly loose and moldy. There were significant limescale deposits on the shower floor. The shower door wasn't tight at the bottom, so the bathroom flooded every time I showered.The staff (including at the reception) hardly spoke any German or English. They couldn't even explain to me the way to the toilet in the foyer... Payment at the hotel bar was neither possible with cash (no change!) nor with a card (the device was somewhere else...). In the end I had to pay three euros less...It also took an extremely long time at both check-in and check-out until we were taken care of. And this despite the fact that two employees were not busy with other guests. We weren't even asked how we liked it when we checked out.The dishes at breakfast were not washed properly several times.And just one small thing: the channels on the television weren't even remotely sorted according to anything. Television and radio stations in all countries were in complete disarray and a program overview was not available.All in all, really borderline, despite the good location and the generally nice furnishings.

Nice and courteous staff except in the bar on the 14th floor!BUT!! Still the worst hotel I've ever been in, dirty, in need of renovation, we had to change rooms twice due to damage, wellness and spa area closed due to construction work, elevator doesn't work, even though I asked for the spa offer several times when reserving by phone I asked, no information about the renovation top for a wellness hotel, breakfast not as lavish as promised. But professional ladies in their early 20s who get drunk with their very, very old clients are tolerated in the lobby, even if children and young people are present, which creates a welcoming atmosphere (sarcasm).2 nights for 477 euros are justified, not.

I went to a concert at the UFO on October 14th, 2024 and booked a room here because the train no longer runs to my home that late. Due to the good rating and a 4 star hotel and also the price for the room, I unfortunately expected something different. When I arrived, the gentleman or the entire staff at the reception seemed completely disinterested and listless. One lady had a long line and all the other counters were occupied, but the employees didn't seem to care, so no one made an effort to serve me. Behind the receptionist there was another employee who was calmly drinking her water from the bottle. At some point I was asked to come to him by a very unfriendly gentleman. I found the whole atmosphere of the hotel terrible, everything cold and sterile. The room sucked just as much. The bed linen had holes in it and there was still hair from the previous person in the bathroom. So I will never book a room here again, I am really very disappointed and will rate it that way on the platform I booked the hotel on. For the price I definitely expected more service and cleanliness. And the air in the room was terrible, there seemed to be no air conditioning or it was broken.

Modern hotel with underground parking, very good transport connections to get to the center by public transport, nice and clean rooms 👍.I expected more from breakfast, but ok. Very nice bar on the top floor with a nice view.The S-Bahn line runs at the back of the hotel, it's noisy and you can hardly sleep with the window open as long as the S-Bahn is running, so 1 star deducted.

Great location if you know your way around Berlin. Very comfy rooms, clean and with cool lighting options. Stuff is friendly and always available. I took away one star from room rating because I could not turn off the light above TV so I had to unplug it manually.
