The furniture was very worn, the room was only superficially cleaned and quite dusty, the mattress was uncomfortable, extremely noisy!!! Almost every noise from the reception, "kitchen" and dining room and of course the hallway can be heard. We hardly had any sleep for 2 days. The street noise (cars, conversations, sweeping) can be heard even with the windows closed. Thick black mold in the newly tiled bathroom. Silicone was roughly put OVER IT, but the mold came through heavily 😟 The bed linen smelled very used and the room also smelled very unpleasant. The breakfast is not fresh, light rolls that looked like they were from the previous day on both days and there weren't any for a long time on Sunday. There was also light toast and crispbread. The yogurt was warm and unfortunately mine had mold. I then disposed of the cereal and also informed the reception (reception and dining area is one room). There is already a selection of food, but it tastes old and poorly stored. The quality is just bad. I wouldn't recommend this guesthouse to anyone. We booked it at short notice because we had appointments 3 streets away and needed a short distance. Anyone who is absolutely undemanding can spend the night here. The location is really good as the subway station is very close. The immediate surroundings are of course not nice. The private parking lot is difficult to reach through a gate at 2 corners. You have to go through a narrow parking garage. With my SUV it was a matter of millimeters of maneuvering to get out again. You can't just go into the house, it only opens after the doorbell rings. Then ring the bell again and wait. You can then get the room key you gave back at the reception. Generally not that bad, at least uninvited guests don't come into the house. IMPORTANT: If you want to leave the parking lot, you must open a gate with a key at the exit (different route than the entrance). This has to be returned immediately!!! That means...first you can park somewhere and go through the whole process again by ringing the bell twice and coming in!!! There are paid parking spaces near the hotel, but with a bit of luck and time you can get one. However, cars were also broken into...the car alarm under our window beeped for a long time. It's a bit difficult to find a place with a larger car. Unfortunately we couldn't take the train. There are great bakeries nearby where you can have a delicious and inexpensive breakfast.

I booked a single room for two nights and haven’t had any big expectations as the hotel is on a cheaper side. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The receptionists were extremely welcoming and helpful, the room was clean with a renovated bathroom and the location is great - you need around 15 minutes to get to the main train station. I’d stay here again because it’s definitely worth the money.

For modesty and with little expectation.Male employee totally friendly!Cleaning staff doesn't speak German.Pension is completely covered with musty carpet.Property condition poor.Stylish old furnishings.Water temperature fluctuates greatly and is mixed with chlorine.Unfortunately, the hallway is very carelessly neglected.Pets allowed, with an extra fee.Outside you can hear the sounds of traffic and evening conviviality. Often also police and ambulance calls. After 10 p.m. there was no reception or supervision of the house, but on the day of check-in no one was there at 7 p.m.Morning walk with a view of sobering up bench warmers.Environment unkempt. The entire guesthouse is very noisy, the floor creaks and moves. The maintenance is very rough and not carried out professionally.

Great and friendly hotel staff. Rooms clean and large. Great location, not the whole train and metro, I highly recommend it.

The hotel is located fairly close to the city centre. 10 minutes by S, and you are in Berlin Central railway station. Rooms are a bit outdated and have a tired look, but if you are here to sleep only, it's absolutely fine. Food in the morning is a cold buffet, and I was fine with it.

We spent one night in this hotel. The gentleman at the reception desk was very friendly. The rooms are small and simple, but clean and completely sufficient. We had a double room facing the back yard and it was very quiet. The breakfast was ok. The location is great. 5 minutes to the S-Bahn station. We can recommend the hotel without reservation.

Because during my booking period even the cheapest hotels charged €280-300/night, I chose this guesthouse (cost €130/night). After a long research I came across this guesthouse and the relatively good comments convinced me. Above all, the cleanliness of the rooms and laundry was emphasized again and again, which I can also confirm. The rooms are slightly run down, but it was okay for the time. Definitely recommended as an emergency solution.
