Still a very nice option if you have something to do in the southeast of Berlin and don't necessarily want to visit a hotel from one of the big chains. The wonderfully designed restaurant alone is worth a visit. We were able to enjoy the first goose of the year, which was an all-round successful experience. Our room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was tasty and plentiful, but above all we met consistently friendly staff everywhere - during communication beforehand, when checking in and until we said goodbye. We had a very entertaining exchange, especially with Ms. M., who was waiting for a guest late in the evening beyond her actual duties, thank you again for that! We'll definitely come back.

Since I'm only here for one night and I was at the seminar during the day today, I can only say that the hotel is very good, the lunch was very tasty and we will still use the bowling alley this evening. I can definitely recommend the hotel. 👍

Very warm dated rooms, really ugly prison looking building at the back, people with torches walking around the grass at 3am was very unsettling leaving my window open with sketchy people around the back of the building, no air conditioning …

As part of my business trip to Berlin, I was able to experience the Hotel Grünau for two weeks.Very nice and easily accessible hotel with no long distances to places for daily needs (S-Bahn, shopping, external restaurants, etc.).I felt really comfortable and well looked after the entire time. Every concern about parking, booking, food, and so on was always addressed and resolved immediately, quickly and with a smile. The entire staff always has a kind word to say.A great kitchen with excellent service staff.I've read a lot of reviews here.Always only through “short-term residents”…All I can say is that everything is done here for the guest.The small talk with the hotel employees, a smile and much more make the stay a feel-good one.Now one or two people come and talk about prices being too high for the services offered in the restaurant. All I can say is that the service is very good and the quality of food on offer also costs money. You can't always ask for everything at discount prices and then expect everything else to be premium quality. Everything was perfect here. Special greetings go out to the service in the evening including the chef and the trainee who made the desserts. It was a pleasure to eat with you so often (yes, even despite the prices!)All in all, I can only recommend the hotel!5 stars (6 for you, for the staff)

The rooms are clean and tidy. The bathroom was stocked with clean towels, shower gel and a hairdryer. The bed was comfortable. The choice of wallpaper is a matter of taste. The hotel is quite remote, right on a railway line and in the BER flight path. However, this didn't disturb or wake me up while I was sleeping. The prices are disproportionately high compared to the food on offer (quality and size of the portions). The prices for drinks are also calculated with a profit margin that is too high for my taste.

Two lunches and overnight stay with breakfast from June 13th to June 14th. as part of a company event.The room was excellent and the breakfast was sumptuous.The lunch buffet was very rich (soup, salads, fish, meat, various vegetables, pudding, cream dishes, ice cream) and tasty.The service was very friendly and accommodating.Special requests (gluten-free food) were fulfilled.The hotel is a bit out of the way, but on a railway line and in the airport's flight path. My room was away from the train tracks and I slept very well.

This review only applies to the restaurant - NOT the hotel!!Positive:Nice ambience, excellent food, nice staffNegative:Drink prices are an absolute disgrace. In order to eat expensively in the restaurant, you also have to pay for the parking space.We don't go to this place anymore, even though the food is really good. It's a shame that the hotel doesn't make any more friends.

You will never forget this sleeping comfort! In addition, it is extremely clean and has great facilities. Top price-performance ratio.We booked a suite for two nights. Mattresses, pillows, blankets - the finest. The sleeping area is in a room without windows (window visible when the curtain is open), so you can sleep really dark. Splendid.Facilities and cleanliness are top: you can relax comfortably in the evening on the pull-out couch, and the two upholstered armchairs are also super comfortable. Two TVs, very cozy, warm light sources, walk-in closet, mini-fridge, desk - everything is there. Facilities “hotel-neutral” but still very stylish. There wasn't a single square centimeter that wasn't cleaned dust-free! A lovely thank you.The staff are very friendly and the restaurant with lots of antique charm is an experience in itself!Location is right on a country road, but still surrounded by many trees/forests and birdsong. If you arrive without a car, it's about a 17-minute walk to the tram and 10 minutes to the bus.Only suggestion:The pots at the tea stations quickly got cold. It would be great to have hot water in the afternoon and evening too. Alternatively, a kettle in the room or a hot drinks machine would be a suggestion, as the restaurant was only open from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
