Our worst hotel ever!We (family of 3) booked this hotel since pictures seemed nice. But reality hit us hard. Lots of mold and a very strong smell which gave us headaches. We booked for 3 nights but just stayed only 1 night since we checked in very latex no reception. Had to get the keys from Döner store on in the same street. I advise you to think twice before booking this!

Unfortunately absolutely unfriendly and inflexible. Due to a technical error via booking, the cancellation did not reach Hotel Insor. The technical error has been confirmed by booking. However, despite the efforts of booking staff, the hotel is not willing to accept the cancellation and I have to pay the full amount for the stay. This is absolutely NOT customer friendly. Too bad! Because I would have loved to stay there overnight on a later weekend.

I don't even know where to start, I was so shocked by the accommodation. Rooms in deplorable condition, not particularly clean or maintained. The television remote control has probably never been cleaned and the television has strange programs - most importantly: the pictures do NOT correspond to REALITY and the PRICE is absolutely OVERPRICED!There was no service at all, two stars for the location because the address is actually correct.I'm currently trying to request an invoice for travel expenses, but I can't get it, the line is always busy, no one responds to emails - I would only take accommodation if I was in dire need, only one star because I can't post it otherwise!

The guesthouse is ok for one night but not recommended for more nights. It's dirty, smelly and the bathroom is very small and cold. The price for the pension Well. I can't recommend the guesthouse more.

So I definitely wouldn't call it a hotel!! Run-down house, the room smelled endlessly, like after a fire. Never again and definitely NOT RECOMMEND!!!

I usually like to share positive experiences. Unfortunately, very rarely there is nothing positive to report - like in the Hotel-Pension Insor. I travel a lot and regularly stay in different accommodations. This accommodation is by far my worst experience in Berlin. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the Hotel-Pension Insor, even if it seems very inexpensive at first due to its location. But sometimes even cheap is too expensive, as is the case with this accommodation.

Simple guesthouse in an old building. Friendly staff. WiFi ok, bathroom and toilet clean but not spacious. The reception is not open around the clock: if you want to check in after 8 p.m., the key is left in the bistro opposite - luckily I was there earlier - but it somehow has its charm 😄. Afterwards you will be provided with all the keys you need to get into your room late at night via a side entrance (rental building).Very conveniently located in terms of transport: 15 minutes with the U5 from the main train station, Kreuzberg around the corner, and plenty of Spätis and kebab palaces for the way home.Unfortunately, it's a bit inconvenient: the rooms are on the ground floor so that passers-by can see into your bed. You have to like it - or let the shutters down 😄!But I'll definitely go there again next time I'm in Berlin 😎!

Very good location, right next to the church, subway station within 3 minutes walking distance. Very kind and courteous receptionist. Rooms with beautiful stucco, simple but functional. There were four of us and our room was significantly larger than expected. Contrary to what other reviews have described, we had very hot water and a working heater. Anytime again, thank you very much.

I don't see it as a hotel or a guesthouse. It is a run-down residential building with a bar. The reception is staffed until 8 p.m. then you can only enter the house through the rear entrance. There was a locked door in my room. I have no idea where it leads. I changed hotels that same evening. Not for a woman alone. If you are traveling with several people and just need a cheap bed to sober up, this might be an option. Unfortunately, I couldn't stay there sober and alone.

During the 3 days of stay, there was no hot water either in the morning or at night, which was when we were at the hotel. I wrote to them by email and left them a note, I even called them by phone (it was complicated because they don't know English or any language other than German) but they didn't come up with a definitive solution. Only one morning after complaining were we able to shower with hot water, then they cut it off again. We talked to other guests and no one had hot water at certain times, so we know they turned it off deliberately.The hotel itself is not horrible, but obviously without a basic need like a shower it loses all meaning.In short, go somewhere else.
