Hotel in an old atmospheric tenement house, the room was very clean, there was everything you needed, breakfast at a good price, you could eat enough, the location was also very good, the accommodation was perfect for a short trip to Berlin, I recommend it

Room 12. Since I don't know the other rooms, I can only refer to reception and this room. I rent out holiday apartments myself and am appalled at what is offered elsewhere for overnight accommodation for a fee.First of all, I have to praise the fact that the main areas of the bed and bathroom made a clean impression.However, the sandwich location of the room between the reception and the neighboring room is unreasonable due to the noise. Apparently the water pipes in the building are completely outdated. When we showered in the next room at 5 a.m., the entire room was flooded with unbearable noise from the loud water pipes. The balcony door and the bathroom window have ancient single glazing, which cannot really insulate the noise from the courtyard. The height of the balcony parapet no longer corresponds to the current building regulations for rented rooms.Overall, the room and the circulation areas are long past their best years. The room is only separated from the hallway by a very simple door. So every movement on the wooden floors in the hallway becomes a sound experience for the guest in room 12. The room's furnishings could have a certain charm if they weren't completely run down.I paid 89 euros for one night for the room. Even half the price would be excessive.The reception at the reception already had the charm of a prison arrival, as we know it from TV crime shows.It is a mystery to me that this establishment is still allowed to operate as a hotel.

The shower was comfortably sized even for me (2 meter giant). The shower head holder was at a suitable height. The staff is super friendly. The breakfast buffet is prepared with a varied selection. The location is great. Since it is on a side street, you are 200 m from the bus stop and still have peace and quiet from public transport. Gastronomy (e.g. Subway and restaurants) as well as special shops (e.g. Asian shop) within 300 m. Defects expressed in the reviews will be corrected immediately as far as possible. Furnishings are neat in a consistent style throughout. Simply great for the price.

The rooms were sparse. 1 double bed and 2 chairs and TV table with TV. No wardrobe, so you had your clothes in your suitcase. And the bathroom very small. But it could be used and the service was fine. And you could also buy breakfast, although 8 euros per person, quite expensive. There is a bakery on the opposite side of the road, and you can also have breakfast at the bakery.

+ Breakfast was okay+ was able to sleep well on the bed- no second room key, which made our evening arrangements inflexible. In my opinion an absolute no go.- Shower took 3 minutes to warm up and despite using a shower curtain and being careful, the entire bathroom was flooded while showering- only one big light in the room and the switch was far away from the bed- no bedside table

The price is ok - I don't have high expectations because it was cheap. Very nice area, a few dozen meters from the hotel you can eat and drink well. The option of choosing the time of arrival makes no sense since the hotel won't let you in before 2 p.m. Finally, the receptionist tried to convince me that I was smoking cigarettes in the room at night, even though I don't smoke :) On Friday at 7 a.m. , a few meters from the room window, the gentlemen were emptying the garbage containers very loudly.

The rooms were really impressive and something different. I was also able to connect to the WiFi. However, there was no plant-based milk alternative at breakfast, which I found a bit of a shame

Something special hotel, that's not meant negatively at all (!) Nice rooms with shower, breakfast was perfect. We didn't miss anything. The city location is great for a visit to Berlin. You should also definitely visit the restaurant on the ground floor (toilet) :-)

I found it terrible and had to return after one night because I couldn't stand it. The entrance to the house was unkempt, the elevator smelled of sweat. The reception was very friendly, which is a positive thing. Room very large and high ceiling.Mattress was as old as the Art Nouveau house and accordingly worn out. Floor (cheapest laminate) creaks loudly with every step. The house is extremely noisy so the night was restless. The cleaner cleaned the surrounding rooms very clearly early in the morning and then came in to me. The smell of mold is clearly noticeable in the bathroom. So uncomfortable that I didn't want to shower there. Parking ticket was 24 euros for less than 24 hours.The bottom line is significantly more expensive than the Motel one. Lessons learned for me: book earlier and only use Motel one.

We booked first and then read the many bad reviews. So we arrived there with great concerns. It is a simple hotel in an impressive old building, completely in keeping with the price category. We found a clean, nice room. There was no sign of the unrest described here. We were able to sleep peacefully and relaxed. The bathroom is small but functional. We found the breakfast excellent for this price.Olivaer Platz is a few steps away, if necessary there is a parking garage directly opposite and the S Bahn or bus is within walking distance. We would recommend this accommodation at any time.
