Small, dark rooms that are unfortunately not in great condition as shown in the photos of the hotel. There are creaks and crashes when people move in the hallway and close doors. The friendliness of the hotel staff is limited. Not good value for money.

We spent 4 nights here in October and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel itself is very well located and the staff were very attentive indeed. We had a small issue with our room which was fixed very quickly. We had a comfort room which was more than spacious enough and very clean. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment but we would definitely return.

Large room with comfortable bed. Service from staff is good. Location 3 minutes walking distance from bus stop. In the middle of the city. It is recommended to book a stay here at the hotel.

When we made our reservation it was for two people. As in the picture it was intended for 1 person.The room is very small, there is no table. Disaster in the bathroom, the shower is so narrow that even one person cannot shower comfortably. The toilet is like a baby toilet, dirty kettle. There is no space for your luggage. small fridge I brought it after assuring them that I had medication that should be put in the fridge.The mattress, when we slept on it the first night, I woke up in pain because the entire rest of the mattress was outside. The Ressolle prints when sleepingWe reported it to reception, she called the cleaner and she saw the mattress.She said that she couldn't change the mattress, and when I asked her to change the room (because I can't sleep on an old mattress for three nights and it hurts to sleep), she put a blanket between the mattress and the mattress cover.Breakfast: Very expensive compared to what they offeredThe sausages are all pork sausages, and when I asked if there were any other sausages, she said in an unfriendly voice that there was only that kind. There isn't even any salmon. Coffee is water with flavor, the coffee has to be mixed with coffee cream and espresso otherwise there is no coffee cream.I forgot my headphones in the room and the exfoliating cream in the bathroom.The funny thing is that I called them and told them what I had forgotten in the room and said that the headphones were more important than cream. Within three minutes they called me and told me that they didn't find anything in the room.

Hotel with old building charm: The Elba is centrally located on a side street from the Kudamm (Kurfürstendamm), one of the most important business and traffic axes in Berlin. The rooms are huge, have high ceilings, large windows and are furnished in a typical hotel style but not without charm. The bed is very comfortable and the staff is very helpful. Unfortunately, you have to do without air conditioning and a refrigerator, which are actually standard in this price category. At least there is a fan. The bathroom is quite small, but offers some storage space. The cleanliness is good overall, but in detail there were a few too many dusty corners here and there for me. The WIFI connection is good and stable. There are sockets by the bed (by no means a given) and in other easily accessible places. Bleibtreustr. is a residential street with the usual noises that you just have to accept in the center. The rooms are surprisingly noisy, so I could hear my roommates talking quite clearly. All in all, the Elba is a recommendable hotel, especially if you are not too sensitive to noise.

We received a very friendly welcome. We were really thrilled with our stay. The breakfast was sensational! It was our first time at Hotel Elba and definitely not the last time. The hotel has a lot of charm and style. It was once again a great experience in Berlin!

A really nice and cozy hotel, very nice staff and good location with lots of restaurants and a clean area. The only thing that was missing in the rooms was a small refrigerator to store drinks in this weather, otherwise always welcome.

The room had a nice old charm, but unfortunately it was too small, there wasn't even a wardrobe in it.The breakfast is really great.Unfortunately it is often difficult to find a parking space.The location is great, many things are within walking distance.

A very nice, centrally located hotel with charm.However, we had a room that was much too small and didn't even have space for a closet.The breakfast was great with attention to detail. When the weather is nice you can sit in the courtyard.Friendly staff and the location is unbeatable, central and yet quiet.

We had a very nice time at Hotel Elba and can't complain. The room was super clean and quiet despite the central location. All the employees were very friendly and accommodating. We had the comfort double room which had a view of the inner courtyard. The room was big enough for the 3 of us and everyone had enough space 😊. There is also an elevator and it always took us reliably to the 3rd floor. (Especially with strollers and luggage ^^)For us, a clear recommendation for young and old who would like to be centrally located in Berlin.

Simple hotel with a historical atmosphere.Nostalgic elevator.Breakfast was excellent, but so were the springs on the mattress.The loud squeaking of the bathroom door was not eliminated even after a complaint.Great location, 3 minutes to the bus, close to Kurfürstendamm subway, quiet.
