Absolute impudence! The room looked like a closet and extremely dirty.The photos that you find on Booking or here do not match the room you get in any way.There was mold in the shower and the small refrigerator in the room. The refrigerator was also icy and, in my opinion, a prime example of a hygiene violation. Red residue from previous guests was found on the outside of the toilet. From the look of the room, it hadn't been dusted all year.The room was also smaller than promised and had a ceiling height just high enough for the door to fit.In my opinion you shouldn't rent out a room like that!Since the reception was no longer staffed shortly after my arrival, I was unfortunately unable to request a room change. The next day (Sunday and departure) the reception was not occupied at all.

Small guesthouse. Small, functional, clean room. The staff was nice and caring. The breakfast was good, sufficient in quantity and appropriate. My destination, a concert venue, was very easy to reach on foot. There is no elevator, just a staircase. The reason for this was a concert with 'Xhol Caravan' in the gallery 'Artlantis' on June 28th, 2024 in Dornholzhausen.

The location was perfect for our purposes, but unfortunately the rest was underground. First of all, we were asked to change rooms before arrival. That was fine with us. The new room was clean, the beds were fine. The bathroom, on the other hand, was a disaster. The shower curtain was too long and was halfway in the small shower tray. The door was badly damaged and the handle fell off when used. Tile on the floor broken, wobbly and with sharp edges. The reception was not staffed when we left at 10:30 a.m. Paid 100 EUR/night in advance.

Once and not again... When we checked in in the afternoon, the bill had to be paid immediately. Unfortunately, breakfast was only available from 8 a.m. We were directed to the bakery next door. There was very nice service and a delicious and moderately priced breakfast.The next morning we wanted to complain about the room. The door handle in the bathroom fell off, the TV didn't work, there were two remote controls... toilet brush handle fell off,Altogether old furniture, everything pieced together.Unfortunately no one from the service was there at 8.20. When is breakfast available for the other guests in the house?Overall we are very dissatisfied, well it was enough to sleep and shower. We then went to Frankfurt airport early and then we didn't care about anything.....

Nice, simple hotel with good basic amenities. Newly renovated, great bathroom with huge shower. The owner chose a quiet, cool room with us because we were traveling with a dog. Fridge in the room, big TV, breakfast buffet okay. Nice service. Price performance is right 👍

Quite okay for the occasional overnight stay, the clientele is very mixed, to say the least. But it was clean, the breakfast was passable and our destination could be reached on foot. We would stay here again.

Never again!Apart from the extremely poor price-performance ratio due to the poor quality of the rooms, which consist of improperly cleaned rooms, a dirty shower, a broken bathroom door, a missing mini fridge according to the equipment, etc. put together, this hotel runs an incredibly incompetent staff. After I arrived shortly before 8 p.m., the reception was no longer manned, even though it was supposed to be until 9 p.m. Check out is until 11 a.m. (it says 12 p.m. on their website) and the staff started knocking like crazy on the door at 9:20 a.m. and finally just came into the room. The employee then said we had to pay quickly because she wanted to get off work. Not being able to stick to your own reception opening times and then bothering your guests with it is the bottom drawer. When I told this employee when paying that this behavior was not possible at all, she simply replied "Yes, but I have to get off work (to which I replied that that shouldn't be the guests' problem) and she completed her sentence with "Then they were unlucky “Incredibly untrained, disinterested in service and incompetent staff.

I can only agree with all the negative reviews.No hand towels or bath towels were changed, toilet paper was not refilled, the door handle in the toilet door always came off, beds were only made twice, the floor was not cleaned, the bedroom door was an old metal door, everything was very noisy, the upper staircase was very dirty, the reception was not occupied during opening hours . All in all very disappointing.

An accommodation that calls itself a hotel...🤣 - that's definitely not it! You check in and apart from the outside, the first impression is still what I would call okay. You get your key and the catastrophe can begin. 1. Stairs completely fine, but then the areas of horror begin. Any old attic has more flair- broken lighting, loose doorknobs, loose skirting boards, loose floor corner rails and dirt everywhere. You hope that the rooms will top everything: unfortunately you thought wrong! Broken furniture, loose wall lamps, mold in the bathroom and again nothing but dirt and cobwebs. Since we also saw 4 other rooms, I can only say: A horror camp! Breakfast for 7.50 euros per day (except Sunday) is also just ridiculous - baked rolls, 2x sausage, 2x cheese and you can't have a conversation because this is accompanied by a lady in the next room who is waiting for you to finish . The dirt and dust in this house is really the absolute highlight and we have never encountered anything like it! Leaky dirty windows, cigarette butts everywhere, broken shower stalls half replaced with yellowed shower curtains. The curtains are hanging next to it, the cleaning staff doesn't understand German, but that wasn't a bad thing, it just shows me what quality is enough for the owner. Even the travel bag that was on the floor is messed up after you leave the room. I can't recommend it and it's completely inexplicable to me how it can be that this place still exists.

Price-performance ratio is great here. Through HRS I got a rate of €60 per night for two people. We only stayed in the hotel for one night. The hotel is generally clean. Of course, I can't expect any luxury features for the price. What you can expect was offered. I asked the service whether I could get an additional (warmer) blanket. That wasn't a problem. The staff was also very friendly.
