It's all about the food, not the hotel! Unfortunately the guest room was very cold and not heated, which wasn't exactly comfortable. There wasn't much going on either. The food was just fine, ready after about 10 to 15 minutes and unfortunately not as good as expected. It was edible but unfortunately too expensive for the quality and the high fat content of the meat. No potential for repetition or recommendations. The bifteki was good, but the portions overall were very small for a Greek.

Very friendly welcome, booking absolutely uncomplicated. The rooms are a little old but nice and big and clean. We had the family suite for two with a TV room, two bedrooms and a mega-large bathroom. A small point deduction for clairaudience, but it is an old building. The breakfast was great with everything you could wish for. The super delicious omelette with cheese is missing from the photo.Thank you again for that.Eating in the beautiful beer garden is highly recommended.Gladly again.

We had the pleasure of spending a few days at the Hotel and Restaurant Zum Löwen in Gelnhausen and were completely thrilled. We received a warm welcome upon arrival and the hospitality of the staff remained remarkable throughout our stay.The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We particularly liked the opportunity to sit outside and enjoy the weather.The highlight of our stay was definitely the restaurant. The Greek specialties were delicious and of high quality. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very welcoming.We can highly recommend this hotel and restaurant and will certainly come back here on our next trip to Gelnhausen.Greetings from Bavaria!

Clean, centrally but quietly located hotel with friendly staff. As a solo traveler, I had a room on two floors with a great bathroom upstairs. You order breakfast and it was varied and enjoyable.I would be happy to come back.

The inn is conveniently located in the pedestrian zone of Gelnhausen. The two of us got a table without a reservation. The menu is Greek-influenced and varied, the dishes are freshly prepared and taste good. The host is friendly and strives to pamper the guests. The ambience could do with some modernization, or at least a little sprucing up.

On Monday evening the four of us went out to eat in the restaurant. The restaurant offers a nice ambience, especially a cozy beer garden. We rated the starter as very good. For the main course, we found the gyros to be too fatty. The service & food were average that day. The restaurant deserves 3.5 stars because it performs somewhat weaker than other restaurants in the surrounding area. That's why we only give a total of 3 stars.

We stayed overnight in room no. 1. Simple, beautiful and very clean! The use of the whirlpool rounded off the evening with the excellent Greek food. We come from the area and all I can say is that they have the best Metaxa sauce in the area. Very tasty, very friendly and excellent ouzo. Only recommended.

Looks nice at first, high prices - well, it's just for tourists. Unfortunately no parking facilities. But the owner is unfortunately unfriendly and asked me seriously (he with a strong Greek accent) whether I spoke German (my language certainly has a bit of a Saxon touch, but that's not a problem otherwise). Somehow the owner seemed to be in a very bad mood.

Incredibly good food and great service. The quality of the food, especially the meat, is very good. The dishes are also very nicely prepared. I particularly like gratinated gyros in Metaxa sauce. Was here with the family and everyone was very happy.

We went there for dinner last night based on a recommendation. So, I would be happy to pass on the recommendation to future guests. The service was very, very nice and friendly. And the food was really delicious and absolutely normal in price. Quality and taste really great. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos. The facility is older, but comfortable. We really enjoy coming back, thank you very much 😃
