Top location at the cathedral...but what else? My room was spacious, but the furniture is ancient (80s?) and not at all contemporary. The partly stained carpeting was poorly vacuumed. Mini TV, slow internet. All in all, far too expensive.

A very nice, family-run hotel. Freshly renovated. Good location, clear but complete breakfast.

The hotel is ideally located in the center, a few minutes' walk from Münsterplatz. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was a reasonable size with a nice, functional (but small) wet room. …

My wife was critical because she saw the 3 stars. However, she was very pleasantly surprised. We have stayed in many 4 and 5 star hotels that didn't impress us in every way. Everything was right here, except for air conditioning, which my wife missed. This hotel is at the top when it comes to value for money. The breakfast also left nothing to be desired. Because we have special demands on the coffee, which unfortunately are not met in most hotels, but are met at the Hotel Roter Löwe. The white sausages were also of good quality. We had room 16, it was quiet except for a bit of noise from the neighboring rooms. In short, we were completely satisfied.

While traveling through on vacation we booked an overnight stay here (with breakfast) and had two very different rooms.Room 1: Triple room under the attic with approximately 30-year-old furniture, but with plenty of space, a refrigerator, an air conditioning unit and a roof terrace with a view of the Ulm Minster. You can also look at Ulm Minster from the bed and bathroom.Room 2: Double room under the attic, relatively small, without balcony and only with fan. But really nicely renovated and tastefully furnished. The bathroom is nice too, just a bit narrow, so not for very tall people :)**Note: it looks like most of the rooms in the hotel are renovated and the first room was an exception.**The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired (including salmon, eggs, bacon, grilled vegetables, homemade Obatzda, croissants, a large selection of fruit, cheesecake, latte macchiato and other coffee specialties) and was available both in the beautiful interior and in the sunny courtyard. All the staff, both at reception and at breakfast, were friendly and helpful. Also important for people passing through: the hotel has its own small parking garage, which costs €12 per day. Conclusion: gladly again 👍

Rooms are extremely small, so larger folks beware.Parking is challenging, as the hotel is only accessible via side streets and even cobblestone pedestrian areas, and the garage is fairly limited.Service was always fantastic and friendly. Breakfast is amazing, huge selection of foods

Hmmm, a hotel that turned out to be difficult to reach. Also for Google maps.Hotel is in the center of. Ulm with a separate parking lot. Parking costs an additional 12 euros. A spacious parking space in itself.Hotel entrance and restaurant look neat. The rooms, on the other hand, are very dated. Clean but outdated. Rooms have dated furniture. The rooms are also equipped with old, noisy, mobile air conditioners. Our first room was very dark with a low ceiling. Felt stuffy. Our 2nd room had a balcony, but you were not allowed on it.Breakfast in the restaurant is fine.Price - quality.... We will look for another hotel next time.

Very good because it is centrally located. Very friendly staff at reception and in the restaurant. Nice breakfast buffet. ||My single bed room was on the first floor directly above the small courtyard. …
