Our balcony overlooking the spillway on the Danube river was lovely. The sound of the water was so relaxing. A great place to spend the end of the day with a cold beer. Although the location is rural, it is a short drive along the scenic cliffs of the Danube valley into historic Sigmaringen. We had a great time!

We spent a very nice week at the Gasthof Neumühle with very nice hosts, very good food and a beautiful room with a great view of the Danube. Even our motorcycle found a place to stay in a garage free of charge. Thank you!

We liked it very much. The room was large and clean. Due to the location of the room, the weir in front of the house didn't bother us and we were able to sleep with the window open. The food was exceptionally good. It's a shame that we couldn't eat with you more often because of the rest days. The innkeepers are super friendly and accommodating. If we're in the area again, we'll be happy to come back.

We can't judge the rooms or the restaurant because we haven't eaten there and we never will. But in this case an establishment that calls itself a GASThof has completely missed the actual definition of an inn, namely “hospitality”. We were traveling by canoe and the boat had to be crossed at this location because of a weir. My daughter urgently needed to go to the toilet and we knocked on the door there. The answer we received from a rude "HOST" was that it was closed and then everyone would come and close the door in my little daughter's face. And that without any further words or an “I’m sorry”. I have never experienced such a heartless and shameless way of dealing with people. This is probably how you only treat potential guests if you don't need it and haven't enjoyed a good nursery. You can understand that you don't want to let everyone in, but denying a small child access to the toilet is incredibly miserable and reveals a lot about the character of the house and its management. We then explained to our daughter that this was a rare exception because most people have more hearts and minds.

After a bike breakdown, we were warmly welcomed that evening. The hosts are very friendly and we felt like we were in good hands! There was enough food, which also tasted fantastic! Our room was very tidy and lovingly furnished. You can see the Danube from the window. The dining rooms are also beautifully and comfortably furnished. There is also a large garage for bicycles! :) The hotel is also directly connected to the bike path. We would love to come back and highly recommend this guesthouse! Thanks to the lovely family for the lovely stay!
