Eat:- the worst cheese spaetzle I've ever tried (homemade spaetzle, but run-of-the-mill cheese, no onions or anything else, bland, pale, tasteless). As an amateur chef, I would be ashamed to serve cheese spaetzle like this to my guests.- Salad with turkey: plenty, but bread only on request (standard wheat bread slice 1x), salad dressing available, but standard watery yogurt sauce).- Onion roast probably OK, but for just under €29 it should be more than OK- Tarte flambée: no individual requests possible, as it is purchased and frozen, I can make it myself at home- Service: initially a bit unfriendly regarding the "special requests", but then ok.Conclusion: I don't need it anymore, it's a shame, it actually had a good reputation

Small family hotel with a restaurant/restaurant, super nice hosts, rooms small and nice, everything you need is available. Breakfast is always the same, but there is a small, good selection and completely sufficient. Parking spaces available, directly at the hotel.

The food is good and suitable for the price. The hotel and the rooms are also good value for money. However, the breakfast buffet is a bit monotonous and the rooms are a bit dusty.

We stayed here for a short vacation to get to Neuschwanstein and Zurich.It is a family run hotel. We were warmly welcomed, the breakfast was standard but very tasty. It is about 200 m from Lake Constance and it was very quiet.What was nice: our room had a small separate room with a sofa so that I could sleep there because of snoring. The overnight prices were ok, there was enough parking space.Not so nice: The rooms are, as so often described here, very old. (And by years come we actually mean decades come, at least 20-30).A new equipment shouldn't cost the earth and would immediately increase the quality.There is no blackout, so if you don't want to get up with the sun, you need a sleeping mask.

This was the second time we've eaten at the Petite Rotisserie with friends and relatives. Both times the service was very courteous and warm. Despite the well-filled dining room, our dishes were on the table after just 30 minutes. The dishes were delicious both times, with wonderful sauces that were clearly homemade, with a French touch. If you want to eat really well and in a nice atmosphere in Fischbach away from the established, high-priced addresses Traube and Maier, the Petite Rotisserie is the right place. The prices are fair, the service is very good. Very clear recommendation.

Stayed in the hotel for three nights. The owner and staff were super nice and friendly! Everything works there super uncomplicated and a kind of family atmosphere. Breakfast has everything you need and a few nice words too 😀Rooms are a bit old, dark furniture...but very clean! That was important to us. We were out and about all day. Bus stop about 50m from the hotel. With the Bodensee Card you can get everywhere for free. Parking spaces available. About 15 minutes to the lake.Thank you for the lovely time with you.

We had a few nice, relaxing days at the Hotel Koenigsaecker with delicious food and a very good location. Our three-bed room was very spacious and nice, but we were missing a blackout.All the staff and the owners are very attentive and warm, so we felt very comfortable.

We were here on the occasion of AERO 2024 and had a spacious double room with a "biologically built" lake view. The reception was very friendly, there are parking spaces around the house. At dinner times these might be a bit scarce. The price-performance ratio was completely fine. Room and bathroom clean. The restaurant with its regional menu deserves special mention. The food is very tasty and inexpensive.It's about a 10-minute walk to Lake Constance, and if you want to go to Friedrichshafen, there's a bus stop almost right in front of the door.If you want something small and comfortable, this is the place for you.

Rindergerschnetzeltes were very good! The meat was very tender and juicy, the spaetzles absorbed pretty much all the very flavourful mushroom sauce.Only downside might be the german-only menu, but the personal is friendly and helpful

Down-to-earth, loving, friendly and interested in the well-being of the guest! Breakfast has everything you need and in the evening you can enjoy a wonderful home-style meal in the restaurant with beer garden. The lake is easy to reach on foot from here, and there is also an outdoor swimming pool and cycle paths advertised everywhere. I would stay here again at any time. Thanks

We stayed at the hotel again after 6 years and are satisfied. Since we only used the room to sleep, it was sufficient for us. Clean and everything you need. Ok...something here and there could be modernized. Internet is free but very poor (more due to the management and not the hotel). But those would be the only points of criticism. In the morning you get a sufficient breakfast, which is lovingly freshly prepared by the senior manager. The restaurant is highly recommended. If there were more stars to give we would give it 10/10. The dishes are so delicious. Likewise the service from all employees. Super friendly, accommodating and warm. You have the option of eating outside on the terrace or ending the evening inside at the bar. The hotel is located just before Friedrichshafen city center and just a 5-minute walk from the lake. Parking is free and directly at the house. If you want, you can get great tips from the staff about what to do or you can use the flyers that are provided in the house.

Were there 4 nights with a dog. We got the last room. The bathroom was extremely small. The furniture urgently needs to be refurbished or replaced, the mattresses replaced because we were lying on bed springs. The room was clean, there was 1 bath towel and a normal sized towel. I don't know whether as a guest with a dog (by the way it costs 10 euros extra per day which is ok and we don't know any other way) it's only second class but the room was really... The breakfast buffet is small, but it's enough if you don't have anything makes too big demands. The hotel failed for us and will not be recommended. The restaurant is great. Delicious dishes, a small bar and sun terrace. The ladies of the house are really great, I can't say it any other way. Always smiling, friendly, helpful and accommodating. By the way, it's less than 10 minutes to the shore of Lake Constance and less than 5 minutes to the outdoor pool.

We canceled the room again because the cleanliness of the bed was very grrrr.. Bed linen and pillows under the cover, something like that doesn't work at all.It's definitely never been cleaned. Sorry, I don't know where the good reviews from others come from.This should be checked, but not rented out.

It was very nice, simple rooms, the price was right, with breakfast 🥐 it was very good. Very friendly service from the hotel manager too.Easy to see from the street. The food🍽🍻 was excellent.
