It was like visiting the gates of heaven. I had lunch there once and also took part in the fine dining. Both gave me extraordinary taste explosions from the purest organic food. I was also thrilled to be able to eat such excellent vegetarian food. This is a rarity. I stayed in a standard room. This was quite small, but everything was clean and equipped with organic cosmetics, a kettle, cups and tea. There is a simple sauna room in the other building which is great after a hike. All in all, what really impressed me was the quality of the food and the philosophy of Simon Tress, his family and the whole team!

Friendly and familiar welcome in a very pleasant, state-of-the-art country inn. Our room in the guest house was dedicated to the son and chef Simon and was equipped and furnished in a pleasant mix of chef theme, traditional and appropriately modern furniture.Terrace with wooden deck chairs with a small table.Bathroom functionally furnished with shower, hairdryer, toilet and sink.Great breakfast buffet with a focus on quality rather than quantity at an organic level. There was a fantastic soft boiled egg🤩We spent the evening in the comfortably furnished living room, put a record on the record player, mixed a gin and tonic ourselves and let the evening end.The journey through a fantastic landscape to the rural idyll was beautiful.The possibilities for things to do in the area and in nature are diverse.We felt very comfortable - thank you 🤩

The organic restaurant Rose is absolutely and unreservedly recommended. It was our first time there, but DEFINITELY not our last. On the one hand, we support organic farming with our visit to the restaurant and we think it's so nice that we were immediately greeted with the A5 card stating that meat was the side dish. YES, the side dish! And we didn't need this meat at all because everything was so delicious. The ambience was very nice, decorated in autumn and quiet. The service was super friendly & accommodating. And the most brilliant thing is that there is a really nice printed booklet (that you can take with you!!!) in which the dishes are shown. Because everything is available in bowls or small plates. There are several starters to choose from, it's best to choose two. The portions are a little smaller, but they taste great and are organic and at an average price of around 7-9 euros, they are absolutely fair. For main courses we also chose two different dishes, which were served one after the other. We liked two of them so much that we simply ordered them again. Afterwards we each had another dessert. The two of us had a total of 12 plates on the table and were able to easily try out many different dishes. A really brilliant idea and just something out of the ordinary that we would like to make a regular occurrence for ourselves.The only thing to criticize is that we live 1.45 hours away and you are not with us. But this trip is definitely worth it for a nice evening for two. In total we were in the restaurant for 2 hours. Thank you for existing and for giving us this opportunity!

My husband and I ate there for the second time. This time with relatives, because it's just that good. The quality of the food (100% organic and therefore without glutamate, pesticides and other junk), the service (super friendly, courteous, helpful) and also wonderfully prepared to the eye.Price-performance is great!It was an absolutely successful and beautiful evening!

I only rate the restaurant. Conclusion in advance: It does not live up to its own standards, which are reflected in the high prices. Our wish for an outdoor table (are there any at all??) when we made our online reservation was not acknowledged; we were seated next to the regulars' table and some of the very noisy house guests. The latter received much more attention than we did over the course of the evening. Our drinks weren't poured, let alone refilled, we weren't asked if we had any further requests, we waited forever for each course. After the house guests had left (and we were still in the middle of eating), a grumpy waitress set up the tables around us for breakfast with a clatter and clatter. You don't feel comfortable and welcome there. - The food was okay, but there was no harmonious taste experience. The concept of different dishes at the same time didn't convince us.

We had dinner at the Rose Restaurant for the first time a few days ago. Interesting approach to putting together a menu from different starters, main courses and desserts. Very diverse combinations possible. We were given very good advice about the dishes/contents, and there is also a detailed “menu brochure”. And meat “only” as a side dish (but you don’t miss it as a main course). My wife and I each had 2 starters (mine see picture) or soups, one or two (me of course...) main courses. We shared a meat side dish. Very attractively presented dishes and all VERY tasty! Plus a good selection of drinks. And a great spot in the shady courtyard. It was easy to forget the heat of the day and end the evening with a pleasant breeze and a superb meal. The only small drawback: the rose is a bit out of the way. You have to go there specifically (...best combined with a trip to the biosphere area). But it's worth it!

Hayingen-ehestetten is a small, agricultural village in the Swabian Alb. There are some worthwhile excursion destinations, such as: B. the Wimsen Cave (approx. 10km away). Good location for bike or motorcycle tours

Unfortunately it's slacked off - higher standards, higher prices - the taste isn't up to par with the competitionThe two of us were at the organic restaurant Rose on a Saturday lunchtime in the summer. It wasn't our first visit as we have eaten here many times over the past few years. Unfortunately our impression has worsened.We ordered two appetizers: peach sashimi and summer vegetables. The summer vegetables tasted okay, but nothing special and were portioned quite clearly – 2 out of 5 points. The peach sashimi was tasty but not outstanding for the price – 4 out of 5.For the main courses we chose lemon-thyme tagliatelle and antipasti ravioli. The tagliatelle were disappointing as we couldn't detect any lemon taste. After asking, we were told the dish was prepared this way – 2 out of 5 points. As a replacement we were given Alblinsen-Oven-Schlupfer, which tasted excellent, but we couldn't find herb salad, herb sauce and rosemary croutons - 4 out of 5 points.The antipasti Maultaschen were excellent – 5 out of 5 points.To finish we had creme brulee and chocolate mousse. The crème brûlée was unfortunately underwhelming - 2 out of 5 points, while the mousse au chocolat, although more of a pudding, had a great chocolate taste - 5 out of 5 points.Small details also bothered us: the cutlery wasn't changed after the starter, even though it was visibly dirty.Can it be considered ecologically sensible, but with the lights on in full sun?The service initially made us wait 10 minutes to be seated, despite ringing the bell several times. The open white wine and coffee, however, were very good.By the way, we didn't include a lot of flies, which you can definitely have in the country - we haven't had that for a long time. 😃Overall, we were rather disappointed with this visit.At 75 euros for two people (two starters, two main courses, two desserts, a Riesling, 2 coffees and a bottle of water) the price-performance ratio was not satisfactory.The standard used to be better, and elsewhere you get more for your money with similar standards and focus.

We were registered for breakfast with 7 people at 9 a.m. The buffet was a complete disaster. On the sausage platter there were 3 slices of sausage, cheese, tomatoes etc. Out of place. The waitress always had to be looked for and called for something to come.Scrambled eggs out of place. Boiled eggs hard and yolks dark. “Oof Swabian louder Deifela”For €19 per person I imagine a different breakfastZero 🌟

The hotel can be recommended without reservation!! We booked three nights with breakfast there and our expectations in terms of service and food were exceeded! We had the junior suite and the room was sparkling clean and really spacious and comfortably furnished.The main house and the restaurant are modern and newly furnished and the quality of the food is incredibly good! In the morning, scrambled eggs or fried eggs were personally prepared for each guest upon request and time was taken for each individual guest. The coffee was super delicious and the fresh rolls were more than fantastic! It was a very personal atmosphere and from the service staff to the chef to the Tress family personally, everyone was focused on customer satisfaction and extremely professional.The location is a bit out of the way and ideal for those looking for peace and quiet. But at Lake Constance, for example, you can also get there quite quickly with a drive of around 1 hour.Unfortunately, due to a family incident, we had to leave spontaneously one evening early, which made our hearts bleed. I would have loved to enjoy the delicious rolls for breakfast one last time... It's a shame that we live so far north, but maybe there will be another opportunity to stop at the Bio Hotel Rose.

We were cycling from Tettnang to Stuttgart and had booked a room in the Rose for an overnight stay. We can rate our stay with five stars all around. When we arrived we also booked a table in the restaurant. We have known the Restaurant in der Rose for 30 years. Today the cooking is predominantly vegetarian. However, meat lovers can also order meat as a side dish. The kitchen was great. Likewise the breakfast. Of course there were also locked bicycle parking spaces in a garage.We'd love to come back.Thomas & Connie
