Stayed one night during a business trip. It is very easy to reach on foot from the main train station and is in the center. The staff is very friendly and check-in was uncomplicated. My room was spacious and clean. If I have to travel to Ulm again I will check in there again.

Unfriendly Staff and Poor ServiceMy experience at this hotel was very disappointing, and I would not recommend staying here. The staff were notably unfriendly, which impacted the overall stay.After arriving at 2 a.m. due to train delays, I noticed the next day that the window in my room was broken and wouldn’t close properly, allowing cold air and noise to enter. I reported this to the front desk, but the staff member was dismissive and unhelpful. She mentioned that I should have reported the issue upon arrival, despite the late hour, and said there was nothing she could do as the maintenance team was on vacation. I requested that an external service be called, but that was also denied. When I asked for a different room since I was staying for 12 nights, I was told that wasn’t possible because I had already slept in the bed.There was no attempt to address the issue or offer any alternative solutions. Fortunately, another guest overheard the conversation and, as a carpenter, was able to assist in fixing the window himself. However, it was clear that the hotel staff had no intention of resolving the issue or providing any meaningful assistance.Overall, the lack of hospitality and basic customer service made this a very poor experience. I would not stay here again.

"I wanted to but couldn't" I love boutique hotels and prefer to book them, but unfortunately the "Centro Boutique 005 Ulm City" doesn't deserve the title of boutique hotel. The rooms are in great need of renovation. In our case a ground floor room above the underground car park. The anchoring of the TV was so damaged that no one dared to use it. In the bathroom, the wallpaper was peeling off the wall in large areas, and furniture and picture frames were badly damaged. The sofa bed for our son was extremely uncomfortable because there was a large - 3 cm wide - crack between the two cushions.The reception was rude, you didn't feel welcome.Positive: the size of the room (double room), the location of the hotel and the parking garage.Overall, unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right at all. Others can do this much better for the price.

Excellent location in the historic center with private parking with direct access, for a fee. Beautiful large modern rooms with separate bathroom and shower and 2 sinks. Clean. Friendly and very helpful reception staff speak English. I can absolutely recommend. There were 4 of us.

No air conditioning as stated!!!The warm air in the room in midsummer is only circulated by a system that is deliberately (?) falsely declared to be a “better-sounding” air conditioning system. In room 804 - this is an apartment on the ground floor - the air was extremely stale, and for fresh and cool air you could only leave the floor-to-ceiling glass door to the pedestrian area of a city center open all night at just under 30 degrees (no tilt function). Otherwise you won't be able to get rid of the stuffy, hot air in the summer that builds up in the room and you'll sweat like a sauna.The complaint about this (it expressly said in the description apartment/room with air conditioning!) and also about the completely blocked shower drain, which caused the bathroom with floor-to-ceiling shower to flood within minutes (where you were busy wiping up and couldn't shower without it No one at reception was interested in causing damage - in summer and 30 degrees!).Neither upon arrival (you probably knew that the customers were going out to tour the city anyway), nor when they politely reminded you upon departure (“Yes, we've known about the problem with the ventilation for a long time, it's just stupid in the summer and the shower drain has to be there). look at someone again…roll your eyes…me too and goodbye”).For the price, in my opinion the behavior is cheeky, disinterested and disregards the customer. It would have been easy to remove the old hair from the drain (!) for repairs - but that is not the responsibility of the paying guest but of the house staff.The description of how great everything is doesn't keep what it promises.Afterwards I read that other guests had been having this problem for a long time. This shows me that no one is interested in finding a solution and that the guest remains the stupid one. This hotel only has great points thanks to its proximity to the city center.

It's not a hotel, even less "boutique" Just rooms in lots of buildings - an improbable reception - dark and small rooms - rudimentary bathroom - minimum breakfast - sad and devoid location - be careful you have to take an elevator!!! With the car!! Invisible signage.

08/11/2024Great location on the edge of the city center and great underground parking.Unfortunately, the rented apartment greatly diminished the good impression.Shower doesn't drain well, nor does sink. Even after complaining and promising reception to take care of it, there was no improvement.The air conditioning only blew normally warm air and it was well over 20 degrees at night. Opening the floor-to-ceiling windows on the ground floor at night was not an option.According to reception, this is known and unfortunately cannot be changed at the moment.But you can then collect the full price for it.The whole thing is very annoying.

Unfortunately the service was subpar... we tried to call the hotel for hours while we were there to book a parking space - no one picked up. When we arrived at the hotel they first claimed that we had called the wrong number, and later the excuse was that the gentleman at reception was alone. No apology, nothing. Of course I could have driven up, but during the journey you doubt whether the hotel even exists.The other employees at the reception simply ignore the guests until you almost stand behind the counter and tap the person to get a reaction or a look...The rooms were not clean, there was mold in the bathroom, the hairdryer broke into pieces when touched, the lamp in the toilet was broken, there were stains all over the walls throughout the room. Unfortunately, a more than disappointing experience and unfortunately the hotel took the wrong approach to dealing with customers.

Very nice hotel but very problematic at check-in. Untrained workers at the reception first gave us a wrong old room with only one bed for 3 people, after complaining several times and only with the boss there, we finally received the room we had booked. Otherwise it was really pleasant.

What's impressive about the hotel is its location and price. The rooms are also ok, the bed is good, but the bathroom is spartan and not clean, without a bath mat, cup, etc.But the worst thing was the check-in, I haven't been treated so unfriendly in a long time. I had filtered the hotel by parking and air conditioning. The parking garage couldn't be found, and the entrance to the hotel is hardly marked and you can't stop in front of it.The young man at reception threw us the keys with a vague movement into the courtyard. There are several buildings there. When I asked which one we had to go into, he said "just like you go into a building"...We had 2 rooms, one was pleasantly cool in the heat, the other was warm and the air conditioning couldn't be turned on. When I asked about it downstairs he said "it's not an air conditioner, it's a ventilation system".I don't think it's okay when you arrive somewhere exhausted after a long car journey.Otherwise everything was ok and the breakfast was OK. and the people are nice.
