Hello, we rented the house for 2 weeks in September 2022. Let's start with the positive impressions: the house is large and is located on a quiet street, the parking spaces are large enough. The kitchen equipment is functional and meets the expectations of 5 star luxury. Well, and there's the problem - the 5 DTV stars are from 2018 and are actually only valid for 3 years. In the condition we found the house, the 5 stars are certainly not justified. According to the DTV homepage: "The quality of the rooms/equipment must be at least "very high quality, luxurious" and the condition of theRooms/equipment are rated as “as good as new, no signs of wear and tear”. "A lot of things have been in use for a long time and should be checked and replaced. Some examples: Doors that drag or chip on the floor (which was immediately fixed with washers after being reported by the caretaker), a wobbly dining table (this was also fixed immediately by the caretaker - screw connections were loose). The shower head on the ground floor was just a waterfall shower (recorded by the caretaker). Why do I have to report this? The cleaning crew must notice something like that.In general, the paint in the house is a bit off, there are big flaws in the entrance area, the walls urgently need a coat of paint, the dishes should be checked and replaced - there shouldn't be any chipped edges on the plates and glasses today. In general, the cleanliness - we had to vacuum thoroughly when we arrived. We then complained about the defects and cleanliness by phone on Monday, but no one wanted to take up our invitation to take a look for themselves on site - it's a shame, that would have made an impression! Instead we were offered to have the cleaning service come again. We then politely declined, especially since we had already vacuumed ourselves. We finally agreed on an amount with which we could invite the women to dinner. If anyone from GSA ever reads this - why can't you leave more than a mini bottle of dishwashing liquid in the house? According to DTV ".. A basic set of cleaning utensils (broom, cleaning bucket, mop, cloth/sponge, etc.) is available to the guest at any time." A toilet cleaner doesn't cost the earth and should be standard in a luxury home. The general recommendation here is to send a painting team into the house so that the old shine shines again. In the course of this, remove the many cobwebs from the outside. Unfortunately, that is the first impression you get.Summary: we had a nice and relaxing time, but unfortunately not the 5 star luxury vacation we had hoped for. But we'll be back, this holiday destination is certainly worth a trip.
