A very clean guesthouse, very nice people and a great breakfast.

Very quiet location. Parking spaces are available. Solid ambience. Some rooms have a bathroom, but there are also shared rooms. The landlords are very nice. Breakfast is rich, including Harz specialties. Seating in the backyard with a view of nature. The Harz tourist train runs directly past the property. You can reach the center of town in about 5 minutes on foot. Highly recommended for short relaxation.

Very clean, nice view of the place and the Hochharz in the background. Street with little traffic, very quiet at night. Public transport stop only 3 minutes away. Innkeepers very accommodating.

As described in other posts, the breakfast is not very cheap. I bought a tin and was able to take most of it with me on the go.

Small, fairly newly renovated guesthouse. Bed is excellent. Price not really cheap out of season. If you want to book breakfast, it is quite expensive per person. The location is outside of town on a street but the sound insulation is very good. There is parking right in front of the house.

The location is great 🔝, at least for those who are mobile.The rooms are clean and cozy.Unfortunately the payment options are very limited, only cash 💰 possible.No cash register so handwritten receipts!!2023 in Germany 🇩🇪 very unusual 😅Breakfast not ok in terms of price/performance. €15 per person for this offer is simply too much.The operator's threats, which were written here in response to a guest review, are pretty wrong.The popular saying goes:--hit dogs 🐕 barking—😜

Room clean but location extremely loud as there is a street on the left and a train track on the right.Furthermore, there is no EC payment, only cash. Pretty shady. Conflicting statements regarding room prices and breakfast.Sometimes no information at all.Room prices completely excessive. For a three-bed room 120 euros, I get a room in a 4-star hotel.

Very cozy rooms, very clean bathroom and great breakfast. Despite the lack of staff, the landlady tries very hard to please every guest. Thank you for the hospitality!!!The guesthouse is located on the outskirts of Hasselfelde and every excursion destination can be reached within a few kilometers.

Unfortunately, my expectations for dinner at a class reunion were not met - how can you be so inflexible: there were three dishes, two of which were schnitzel with different side dishes (ragout fin or mushrooms) and game goulash.They were not prepared to respond to timely (!) requests (long before the event), e.g. to offer a slightly less voluminous dish (chicken breast or just a salad plate).The service was also just a disaster: two hours after eating, the plates still hadn't been cleared away - even if you employ untrained people, you should do so beforehandat least provide appropriate instructions or support on site.

Very good bed and the best breakfast in Harz!
Very comfortable room and practical arrival with a key safe for latecomers. Very warm welcome in the morning with a fantastic breakfast, with many of the products made in the owners' own butcher's shop. I was sad to only stay one night!
