We stayed at Kayu for 4 days during our honeymoon and we can’t describe how happy we are for choosing this accommodation. Clean, tidy, great location, without any distractions. Pure relaxation.But what is most valuable at this place are people. Special thanks to Bintang and Ida (and all other colleagues as well) that were extremely helpful with all recommendations, local tips and tricks, and valuable insights that made our stay even better.Honest recommendation to anyone visiting Canggu.

Kayu Village was spectacular. Their communication was very clear and we had a fantastic stay. Bintang was exceptionally welcoming and lovely to talk with. The property had beautiful Balinese inspired buildings, an excellent pool and tropical garden. This stay was our last in Bali and it was very special.

Stayed there 3 nights and it was great.The staffs are very polite.Rooms are big, bedding comfy. I like the huge bathroom too.Breakfast is good and diverse.Location is great, around 500 meters from the beach.The only thing that can be improved is the lack of light in the room, it's pretty dark in the room even with the lights on.

There are two improvements that would make it 5 stars.
1) If I could not hear music from beach clubs at night
2) if there was not a small creature living in ceiling cavity above bed which twice left small droppings on the bedding.

Great experience staying at Kayu village.Kayu means wood in Indonesian ; thus the wooden structure inside out from our rooms. The bathroom is slightly open air, with the room enclosed with AC so that’s not something have to worried. The stay comes with a beautiful pool , abd great selection of good breakfast pastries (fruits, coffee, choice of eggs, and local products). The place has a nice touch including local beer and it’s quiet enough in a busy Canggu at the same time.Bintang, Ari, and Diah and all the other staff are nothing but helpful with warm smiles. Will definitely choose to come back here again

It’s a new place so I was naturally a bit hesitant, but this place was perfect. Especially if you are looking for something different than the typical villa or hotel stay I can’t recommend this place enough. Room is great, bathroom is great, location is so good (quick walk to the beach, yoga, coffee and great restaurants). It pretty much blends the best of all worlds, it’s like you are in a bungalow in the jungle, with all the comforts of civilization steps away. Oh yea, it’s quiet and you wouldn’t think there is a Main Street 100 meters away.

I can’t quite put into words my obsession with kayu village. I loved it SO much. Friends had recommended the restaurant Shelter to me, so naturally when it came to finding lodging while in Canggu, I stumbled across Kayu Village which is right down behind Shelter (they also have a partner ship and if you eat there and bring your room key you get 10% off your bill). The cutest, most quaint, unassuming tropical oasis. Peaceful, beautiful and the friendliest staff I’ve ever come across, I wish I could rate it a 12/10. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you Bintang for answering all my questions leading up to check in and for being so friendly and putting on “dancing in the moonlight” when I went for a solo night swim - the little things don’t go unnoticed, like the flower petals adorning the bed etc. the pseudo outdoor shower is such a vibe and though it can get a bit hot getting ready out there, it comes with the territory of Bali, so just get used to it!

Given its pricing,shouldn't be complaining so much.But good to highlight certain issues.Firstly the room was too dimmed, there wasn't enough lights when needed.Hot shower did not worked well for my room,not sure about other rooms.Breakfast was too basic,there were no bacon,sausages or other compliments to go with your eggs.Ambience of hotel was pretty good though with lots of greenery.A nice decent size swimming pool.10mins walk to the beach,many cafes n restaurants nearby.

Thank you for your hospitality. Relaxing in the villa, we got complete relaxation and pleasure. There are many trees and flowers on the territory, full immersion in nature. Everything is clean, neat, convenient and well thought out. The villa is located 100 meters from the road in a green area, very quiet, noiseless. The bungalow is very comfortable, has everything for convenience, dishes, mixer, toaster, microwave oven, bed linen and towels of excellent quality. There are breakfasts, a swimming pool. The staff is very polite and pleasant, they respond quickly to our requests. There are many cafes and restaurants within walking distance where you can have dinner and the beach is nearby. We will definitely come back. Thanks .

The hotel is located behind the Resto Shelter. Even though it's close to everywhere, the hotel is still quiet. Sis Oka - the staff is friendly and really helpful. It feels like you've lost the tiredness of 3 hours of driving from Buleleng.The room has mosquitoes ☹️toothbrushes and toothpaste were not provided.given mosquito coils (not electric).

Three stars because the price quality could be a little better in my opinion. The hotel is not very cheap. For what you pay you can expect real coffee for breakfast instead of instant coffee. There was also no egg and only some sweet rolls. The hut was also a bit wobbly and not very sturdy when you walked. Staff is very friendly.

It's close to the beach, and most restaurants and hot places in Gangu are 5 to 10 minutes away by motorcycle. After 6 p.m., more than half of the nearby restaurants and cafes are closed, but there is a 24-hour convenience store nearby and large restaurants are open past 11 p.m., so there was no inconvenience.The villa was good value for money and the staff were very friendly. I was able to see if there were any inconveniences and make efforts to improve them, so despite some shortcomings, I had a very comfortable stay. The staff were really friendly and I could see them smiling and greeting just by looking at their faces and making an effort to take care of the customers. (Written twice for emphasis)The villa, a stand-alone cabin made entirely of wood, was built in an exotic garden and was exactly the same as the introduction photo. It was quiet, calm, and still. The small room is small and the large room is very large. The bathrooms were all about the size of a room, so they were spacious enough, but they were unique because they were opened from the room. (I moved to a larger room in the middle.)The disadvantages I experienced were that because it was a tree house, it was not good at blocking out sounds from inside and outside, and because it was in a garden, there were some bugs. I stayed there for 9 days and 8 nights, and the staff took care of all the bugs, so I was fine for 8 days and 7 nights. Considering the price, it's a good place and I had a good rest thanks to the friendly staff.Note: This problem is the same wherever you go in Bali and is not a problem with the villa here. If Koreans are reading this review, be sure to bring a shower filter. The water quality is not good and has a lot of limestone. I want to emphasize this three times 😁
